Hello forum members, I have a problem with my Vario roof. First the cylinder has lost over the passenger door Oel, had it repaired at Mercedes and now the pump loses oil. I saw that the cylinder also loses over the driver door Oel. Would like to change now all 7 of the 8 cylinders and the pump but honestly cuffs before the task. Mercedes contracting partner makes me more problems than they solve the problem. They handed me the car defective with the words, yes everything would have to be changed though before everything was dry and functional. So the trust is gone. Is there a professional among you, the will is to come to Dubai and fix the roof for me? I would buy parts from Mercedes Germany. I already have an offer here. But must be an absolute professional. Hello, a part of the radar electronics, via which Distronic, dead angle assistant, presafe brake etc. are realized, is apparently in the Mercedes star at the front of the cooler. Again higher temperatures or manual wiping of the star seem to help against it, i.e. the star must apparently be fairly clean and icy Is the radar really so sensitive that it already paralyzes a bit of dirt on the star? And: Since the radar seems to work sideways and backwards for example for the dead angle or the parking assistant, why is the star at the front apparently so important?

Hello sl-fans, how are your experiences in the conversion from 18 to 20 inches wheels? my r-230 is 30mm deeper and with the 18 inches for me a good compromise between optics and comfort. has someone experience how it looks like when it is converted to 20 inches with the optics, the distance to the wheel cutout is more noticeable, because there is significantly less rubber on the rim with the same roll circumference? optically the gap should not look bigger, since I find it at 18 inches still ok,or looks at 20 inches even the wheelbox even more filled out, how are your experiences? lg alex

Well I went on looking for a gas station still about 20 km and there appeared on the display a “new” symbol : “A pump and a Mercedes car”. ( Had I at no I don’t see any of my previous MB) Is it clear to me what this means and that one should now quickly visit a gas station where I was already there anyway, but to my second question : How far does the fuel still reach in the case of d i e s e m ? 5 km 10 km …. I have a fundamental question about the function of the roll-over iron: The roll-over iron is probably triggered by the shearing position and/or by the crash sensor. I don’t want to simulate the crash now, but the slanting position. The switches on the rear axle are also activated on the lifting platform or when using a jack. Now the real question: Will the roll-over iron be triggered even in the stand/without ignition t or only when the vehicle is in motion? Manual operation works perfectly. Also the lowering when opening/closing the softtop. Does anyone have experience here?
