  • Purchase of an R class.

    I have already searched here but not found a suitable answer to my question, so I ask here. A rhetorical question. What could on average, without credit (bar purchase), with average km of power of 13,000-15000 km an R 350 (I think with such km of power is not yet worth diesel, and in the entertainment it will certainly cost expensive, or?) in the entertainment? e.g. compared to an E class 270 or 320 CDI, or would not be bad the average I think diesel engines are generally more demanding (repair costs, oil, turbo) than gasoline. The engine is absolutely dry outside, no water in the oil or no oil in the water. Is it enough if I only do the shaft seals, or is that too much oil consumption for the shaft seals?
