The workshop was also quite surprised about the stains and replaced the cover free of charge. It is important to look at your “stainless steel” reserverad covers and let the cover at Mercedes-Benz be replaced free of charge. PS: The surface becomes more sensitive and reacts even faster from the constant overpolishing. I have the assumption that the installed “Edelstah” reserveraddications are not high-quality stainless steel and inferior quality has been installed. In my view, an improbable thei with such expensive vehicles!

Lower the spare wheel…

How much lower does the wheel (at a G 63) come? The trailer coupling, which I never needed in the 63er, only alienated for purpose (see appendix), could interfere with this. Maybe the coupling also needs to be removed. What do you mean? Lower and clutch away? Let it be deeper and clutch. Let it all be?

CL-500 Mercedes Coupe 2 questions…
Hello together. I bought a CL-500 2 weeks ago black / black nappa very nice, was also relatively cheap. The only option which this lacks (there were 12/99 not yet) is the Distronic, since someone has experience whether you can install it afterwards at all, re-authenticate or this would only be associated with astronomical costs. C140 problems
Hi together. Now I’m writing a thread. Although I’m outing a bit. In another thread I wrote that the steering gear of my C140 ( ́97) is licking. Well, I just looked under the car on suspicion, I saw droplets hanging, and immediately found a suspect, namely the steering gear. I would like to say it free only after a thorough examination, but the droplet, which hung there and plowed to the ground (since yesterday in plastic bowl), Did I look more closely into the plastic bowl today? Yellow, thinly liquid, almost aqueous oil that smells like cooler frost protection? How? Just an explanation: It’s cool liquid. My tines have also confirmed it to me. Or I’m getting senile. So the car loses coolant. Has any of you experienced a helpful comment in stock or something similar to calm me down? I can’t detect any leaks in the bulging engine compartment. My navigator is currently no longer receiving satellites. Haven’t experienced this yet. Windshield seal missing?
On my R231 from 2012 the windshield was replaced last week because of rockfall. On today’s first trip, the wind noises from 120 km/h seemed quite loud to me. Then I looked at the new disc a little bit more closely and found a 6 mm wide and about 5 mm deep air gap at the top, between the disc and the frame. I am not sure if it was already available before, or if there is a gasket or the part of a gasket missing now. . I will drive to the workshop again on Monday, but it would certainly be good if I didn’t stand there so stupid. Maybe someone can help me by looking at his R231. Thank you in advance. Hinnerk

Have already let the battery charge overnight Battery top both only half a year old! so on too weak battery it probably can not put… get the car also not in the workshop because it stands in the carport since the lever blocked someone has random experience or the same Pr oblem Once had many thanks for help and answers mfg

SLK R170, turns, starts briefly but immediately again – 3 workshops HILFLOS !!!
Who can help ? The SLK200 Bj.1999 R170 was parked while shopping on the parking lot and afterwards he didn’t spat on anymore !! He starts, turns briefly and goes out again. After about 6 months he still does not run, although 3 workshops have tried it. Petrol pump runs, K4o swapped and all power connections checked – NO success !!EXCLAIMER shows the following error : 1. Engine control unit NO communication. 2. Wheel speeder comparison not in order Had possibly jem and the same problem ?? Tips, advice, suggestions DRINGEND requested. Thanks and LG Bernhart

Problem with opening/closing my SLK 230 Bj 2001
Hello, at my SLK today suddenly the following error occurred (Bj. 2001, 230 Compressor) The ZV does not work anymore via the key, the inside button goes. The turn signals indicate how normal 3x when closing, 1x when opening, but it does nothing. Manual unlocking of the left door works, but the trunk, tank flap and right door are not locked. Does anyone have an idea or a solution? Thank you and Gruss Juppi
