Servus together! on the manual gearbox of my 208d from 1993 with 230T KM stands at the filling screw SAE80 and thus this or better a 75W-80 should be filled. Gear transmission is a 5speed 711,110. This year the transmission (or maybe I too) sometimes worked a little bad so that I switched off about 5 times and the gears with gear collars. On the bill of a MB workshop that changed the gear oil before approx. 80T KM stood “gear oil ATF” and thus f I recently enveloped the LM1200 ATF. About the 200KM driven so far, the gearbox turned clean and soft. But as I learned the ATF is definitely the wrong OIL!!!!! On the magnet of the drain screw it looked like this, see picture. Very fine abrasion with a few pieces 1-2,5 mm large which look like tooth flanks. Can you explain to me what an ATF oil does wrong in my gearbox? Why does an ATF come in in most 711 gears? W221 S320CDI OM642 Air turbulence/looping/rumbling while driving
Good day, I drive a S320 CDI built in 2008 at 247000km engine OM642… And I have the following problem…and that’s standing while gasting and also during the ride usually so between 1500-2000 revolutions the car makes such a funny noise. I was so far in 9 different workshops and unfortunately nobody could help me any more. The turbo was suspected but this has neither game on the shaft nor is the one from the inside. I also did not have any power loss or black smoke The vehicle has often gone into emergency running yesterday replaced the AGR valve and now the vehicle is running much better but this noise or grinding or the air turbulence that arises there is still there and slowly gets on my nerves and so far no workshop could tell me what that is. When you stand in front of the engine you hear that comes from the right side of the engine. The MKL is not on and when reading out it shows no errors at all. n. And while driving the vehicle is jerking. I am currently at a loss. Did not find anything in the net that resembles the problem.. am currently at a loss I ask for help ???????????

G Pur 280 CDI no longer starts… desperation.
Hello, I’m close to desperation… My G Pur doesn’t start anymore. The history. It’s a 2009 edition PUR. 280 CDI. It’s only recently started via the emergency start button. According to ORC, this is due to a relay. The relay is ordered, but not yet there. In addition, I checked all the fuses in the center console. It’s all right. So it actually only seems to lie on the said relay…ABER, now it doesn’t start anymore! Tank is full, and a readout with a borrowed diagnostic device, did not produce any results or error messages. It is normal when trying to start, that’s all unfortunately not happening…! Can I have activated any immobilizer when checking the fuses? Does anyone have any idea how to get the boy running again? G Oil temperature indicator (on-board computer) & other G63 AMG technical problems
Moinsen, before yesterday, the oil temperature display in my computer on board of my G (G63AMG Bj 2014) had failed. Despite RESET and several breaks on the long return journey from Zurich to Hamburg, the display was not active. Oil level OK. Water temperature OK, so I drove carefully on to HH. With each tank along the track, I also noticed that a metallic “click” was heard at the exhaust area during every ignition process. As if you were using a Diabolo air gun shot a uf a corrugated sheet roof hits. In addition, there is the “rattle”, which is typical for a diesel. Yesterday in the NL HH called; result after a question with the plant: – come by and leave the cube there for about 2 days – cylinders are checked if necessary are carried out there – chain tensioner is renewed – ventilation grille on the bonnet (heating grill) has arched (2nd time); is exchanged – analysis on board computer re error message Of course everything on Kulan z, and always as in the NL HH top friendly and accurate. Electric foxes in demand for seat adjustment
With my G 270cdi the headrest only drives up but not down as soon as I press through the switches in the door panel. But if I press old memory settings the motor still drives down the column. But not if I want to manually adjust by switch. The motor is therefore fine. I then got a new switch unit for the door and built in, no change. What I noticed was that a relay at the switch clicks when I manually up the column The click does not stop when I drive down the support. So I switched the control units of the seats with each other (it’s funny, then you press the driver’s seat with the passenger switch unit and vice versa). Then both of the coops went up and down to adjust. ECUs returned to the right sides and both supports still went to adjust. Some kind of contact error is probably to blame. By the way, it is always a relay click to hear, with each the adjustment. Everything is installed again also the door panel, and what was exactly, the headrest of the passenger side drives again only up and not down. Then both control units exchanged again, this time also driver seat (with the control unit of the passenger seat and with switch actuation in the passenger door) the support only up and not down. What can that be? I think either the control unit really has a crack (possibly the relay) or a cable from the Scha It’s possible with this CAN bus thing, because no fixed assignment) has some kind of wobbler. While all the cables don’t look like it, they don’t wake up and shake. Can you check the control unit, I just hate to get another one if it’s not at all. G400 – A call for help from the jungle
Dear Motor-Talker: I live in Nicaragua recently acquired a G400 CDI (BJ.2001, 146,000KM) and started to restore it. I got everything so far in terms of chassis, body and interior, but with the engine side I have problems, which I could not solve even despite intensive research so far: the car smokes heavily (black smoke under load) and has very little power. Kickdown also doesn’t work but I think this is a consequence of the failure. end performance… Since the only MB dealer on site refuses to accept the car in customer service (because it was not bought there, I am not even sure if the company already existed in 2001) I had to contact an independent workshop. Also have no information about maintenance work of the previous owner. The first scan revealed these two error messages (unfortunately in English): Code P2025 (Check component M16/5 (throttle valve actuator). Positioner signals lazy (me ssage through ground keying) and: Code P2036 (Check system N33/2 (Heater booster control module) Open circuit in Wiring My mechanic thinks the throttle valve has to be replaced. I’m not sure if the error message refers to a problem with the sensor or the wiring. Has someone here personally had a similar experience? Besides, the car is quite neat – in my opinion at least – but I have no experience of this vehicle type o I appreciate the tax chain probably has to be changed. Is there a method to confirm this?
