    Hello together, we would like to order our first G soon, with the rest of the equipment is clear to me or the decision is easy, only with the outside color we are totally unsure. We consciously do not want a black, is of course also good, one can do nothing wrong but does not meet our taste. After eternal considerations and partly encounters on the road we could reduce the selection to 3 colors: Opalith white travertine metallic olive green m etallic The green we had seen a few times during the last days of the skiing holiday, but in bad light conditions it looks almost like black. We also looked white, was surprised- looked good. Travertin I have unfortunately not seen anywhere in natura. Especially with the Night Package I have concerns that the transition from white and black is too hard. What do you think?     Hello, I’d like to get a Sl. But I’m not happy. I only tested the 350 without ActiveBodycontrol. Should it be a 500? Does someone know the difference in driving operation, is ABC necessary? Is it worth the 20000 Teuro difference in the price to drive a 500. I like to drive quickly and had the impression of the 350 is not quite the true or just deceives that.   • EASY PACK back flap no longer reacts

    Hello together, maybe someone knows this phenomenon: When I open the tailgate, I can no longer close it via the switches in the tailgate. I only hear that a relay switches but nothing moves. If I sit in the car and operate the switch at the driver’s door to close the trunk, the tailgate only goes half way and stops and the inner light goes out. I also do not get indicated in the display that the tailgate is open while driving. If I open the door again with the switch at the driver’s door and the inside light goes out immediately, as if the tailgate was not open. What’s this about????     Hello! I drove a G 300TD/Shortly today PROBE and was NEGATIV surprised… Consumption mainly highway cutting speed 93km/h at 15,2ltr.. No full throttle only to rock there… Slightly wobbly on the VA at 100-110km/h then give itself back..easy poltern at the rear part… EZ 12/99 85tsd km 1st hand 18″ ex factory TOP condition with all EXTRAS…. Acceleration from 30/40 to 100km/h is indeed SUPER bad….from 110km/h it goes again… So besides the seat positioin has mi Is the driving characteristics better with the long..???? How does the driving difference between long/short over..? How high is the consumption…?? at the 500s…? 400s..CDI ….?? Man Which model should I buy.. or better bury my G….   • M273 burns massive oil

    Hello dear forum, I have been driving a GL450 for about 4 months, year 2007 with M273 V8 petrol engine 190tk. With this control chain, camshaft adjuster, oil pump, sliding rails and various small parts which belong to it with original parts have been renewed. Checking the camshafts+storage was inconspicuous. The previous owner had changed the control chain already, a cheap set for 500 something €. There were camshaft adjusters, as well as the turning gear pretty tight. e already jam-like consistency, the whole engine had deposits. Since the engine was running quite impeccable during the purchase and afterwards and the rest was also in good condition I had hoped to have made a good purchase at that time. Because of this bad condition I thought I would do something good for the engine with original spare parts. My workshop cleaned the scmodder, rinsed the oil wells, even 2x. On the test drive the car ran like a sack of nuts. The engine spits out massive oil from 2500 rpm on the test drive. Hot on 2km 1-2L oil. Towing, Kat clean up with Mercedes contact, because this did not happen to the workshop. Afterwards a centrifuge was renewed, as well as the oil separator, which did not bring any improvement, still came massive oil out of the exhaust. Without KGE, i.e. hose pulled off the car ran great, as it should be and there was no oil. But this is the way one is allowed today The problems did not exist before. There was an M8 threaded pen in the middle of it and clogged it up. Why is the oil coming through there so strongly from 2500U? If I see the small holes on the oil separator, then they are not there to eliminate a flood, but only drops. If the piston rings were over, would there have to be oil there even if the KGE had been pulled off, or would the car have to be there before the repair Where does the oil drip out of the separator? Does anyone know such a problem or has their theory about it?
