Oh yes: even in the exhaust tailpipes there is almost no black paint anymore and also on the front of my same older C-class there are larger paint solutions on the plastic parts. Knowing well of these problems MB does not give a paint guarantee on its new vehicles.

    Good evening together, I have an R350cdi from 2011 with 121,000km and since last week the following problem. On the way home from the city in stagnant traffic I suddenly could not really give up and the engine had no power anymore. Later the problem disappears again. Still 2 times short distance driven (approx. 15km) without problems and completely normal switching. The right hose and the engine at the front in the middle are visibly oiled (see pictures), otherwise nothing is noticeable. However, I am also a technical layman. Can someone give a remote diagnosis on the basis of my description and the attached pictures or at least exclude something.
