Hello dear SLer to everything I have to open my roof otherwise the disk can not be changed, and with a crack in the disk no tuv yes that’s so. In my manual nothing is described as I can open it manually please ask for instructions if someone has it. last days I wanted to run again after the whole snow and ice cream, start aboard running, only the lamp for the rollbar and the roof lamp light permanently nothing does itself, 2 days later exactly the same nu r this time I can move everything. so 2 days later the same thing happens again and nothing happens, everything I found in the forum was wrong. Once the highway is fogged
Hello together, today my R230 on the highway has scared me a lot, which I (so far) can not explain – maybe someone here from the forum has a tip for me. Today I used the nice weather and the free highways in Germany on my way back from the holiday back to Switzerland to get rid of a bit of the melancholy thoughts about the current speed limit (Yes, we were at the “right” corners in the big canton). hem Cruisen with speed 180 I then had a visitor behind me, who did not make any stress, but the Schalk in my neck then made me try out how long he probably stays behind me. Not only that the Mercedes has remained on it, at about 240 km/h my car suddenly fabricated a strong smoke flag, a bluish and quite neat cloud. There were neither inappropriate noises from the engine nor any warning message in the cockpit. I immediately got the Speed reduced (which turned off the smoke flag), I got out at the next resting place and looked at my car very suspiciously and very much for the amusement of some people. Neither oil dripped out anywhere, nor could you smell anything, also there was still no error message in the display. Everything seemed quite normal and after we continued the ride, even despite slowly rising speed, there was not another cloud or problem again. The puzzle is now… wa s was that, does that hurt, what needs to be repaired? Thanks to the Swiss guarantee, I’m not worried about a repair, but I would really like to know what happened first? Questions: *Where does the loss of power (and also torque) come from? Compression and peripherals are the same, except for Kat and Lambdasonde. Is it only the increased counterpressure in the cat or are there any other changes like for example in full-ast enrichment or elsewhere? *why is the power loss in the larger lifting spaces so far exceeded This is why the kat-related power loss of the AKR engines (from 1987) is significantly smaller (only 7 to 21hp, depending on the engine capacity)? Were there other cats installed? *Sometimes someone made a measurement on a dynamometer? Although they have an R 107. After the painful loss of my E 430 4 matic (W210) I decided now for a w 126. I wanted it since I was in the apprenticeship, and screwed it around. After many years driving Mercedes, I thought I was ripe for the 126er Actually I wanted to take time until the summer and get a nice one, but then I found a surprisingly favorable one, where it is still worthwhile to invest something. It is a 500 SE from the year 91. It has rust in some places, what came about by the craft of the predecessors, like the wheel runs. the underbody is very good and has hardly rust. Something under the tailgate, but I think that you can still do well, if you go fast Important for me was the technology, engine and transmission are great, runs quietly and switches gently. It was a bit tinkered, like white rear lights, wooden steering wheel and deeper with wide tires, which I, however, as well as it goes, back-up I think I’m going to make it fit to some extent, so I can use it as a winter car, and so next year I’ll see if I can find a nice piece of jewellery. W140: 1988 – W220: ???
Hello dear community! I’ve been interested in some things for a long time. The W140 was supposed to be on the market as early as 1988, right? Now I’m asking some hypothetical questions: 1) If the W140 really came onto the market then, couldn’t this distance to the competition be described as GROESSTEN in automotive history? I mean, what did the competition have to offer at that time? 2) Had the W140 sold much better and had it less I’m sure that the sales figures would have been much better 3) If you had built the series only until 1995 or if you had pulled it through until 1998? 4) Is it conceivable that the W220 would have been on the market since 1995? Maybach – who buys something like that?
Hello, have asked me today the question, who buys a Maybach? Interior and technology are from the W220 – so seen from yesterday. On the other hand, I have the more modern car with a W221. From the interior design I find Bentley and Rolls much more noble, the wooden surfaces are larger, everything seems more coherent (can I say only from photos – someone knows a RR or Bentley dealer around Wuppertal – so around 250 km, so Frankfurt, Düsseldorf etc.).

Maintenance costs 500 SEC
Hello! In advance: I don’t know much about the 126 series. About me: My name is Andreas, am 17 years old and I currently have a 230 CE (W124), Vormopf, EZ 1989, 180 tkm, 3. Hand [not yet registered, as only accompanied driving is possible (nerves…)]. I live in rural area and drive about 8.000 km a year. Approx. 70-80% rural road. City 20-30 %. Highway in everyday life is not at all. I find the C126 simply unbelievably beautiful, for my terms this is the most beautiful coupé all r times, so I seriously think about replacing the E-Class with the S-Class (with 17 certainly not quite usual). The purchase would be less the problem, rather the maintenance, maintenance and repair costs cause me severe headaches. It would be possible that I run the insurance over my grandmother (30%, never an accident). What costs can I expect about? Consumption with a dignified driving method 15-17 l? The taxes for this thick Benz should and be the absolute usury, especially without KAT, right? w221 with brothel advertising in stuttgart driving around
moinmoin, so I have no idea if this is already common in other cities, but for the brave benztown it is definitely a premiere. this morning a black unbasked w221-vormopf drove with identification marks wn through the city stuttgart and on the rear apron prangte giantdick (äh, hi sigmund f.!) Meaningfully: “NEU – BORDELL XYZ – NEW” etc. I was so perplexed, I didn’t even get the mobile to snap out fast enough. that’s how far it’s come. yussuf and dragan in old towns but this fraction with the yellow fingers in what mb still looks like a state of the art in things pkw and dignifiedness comes to me vomit. if this goes on, the ship comes into the foreclosure and I drive the next 10 years youngtimer, e.g. the beautiful jag 4,0 liter xj 40 with just a few kilometers from the neighboring garage. there would never be a invited one sitting in, clear, looks like style and not like thick pants, d he hunts so long
