Hello together, the following problem on my vehicle. (W463, G500, EZ 2004) If the driving beam is switched on, the driving beam will turn on briefly and immediately off again. The driving beam switch will remain in “on” position, then the driving beam will turn on for a short time and then turn off again. After that, it will stop. In the instrument cluster, “check the remote light li/re lamp” will be displayed. In the case of light horn, this is the same problem. The driving beam will turn on briefly and immediately again. Does anyone know this problem? to: – Light bulbs are installed and also the correct H4 bulbs – Blue driving light control in the instrument cluster works – Everything else on the vehicle works without problems Thanks already for your help! Start problems after longer service life
Hello in the forum! As already mentioned above, I have had a new start problem when the vehicle has been standing for several weeks – he never had that in the last 7 years. Vehicle: G280CDI, WDB 461.3341X181642, engine 642.975 (OM642 DE 30 LA), LL = 186700 Km. I have the impression that the engine does not get a diesel at the beginning. After a longer start sometimes a cylinder ignites and at some point it starts and runs normally. If the vehicle is only standing overnight, it does not have the problem. I don’t know this engine and its fuel system yet and therefore the question about some tips where to start looking – error reading with the diamex shows me P 0123 – throttle valves – position sensor switch P 0030 – Lambdasondenheizung – control circuit P 1955 – he always had this error With best thanks in advance, Heinz.

Buy SLK 200 model R170?
Hello dear Mercedes friends, do you have some questions about buying a car? You all know each other well and I had already before 2 Mercedes 190 and 230 but SLK 200 I already something different. So on the subject: I would like to buy a SLK 200 and will visit one tomorrow : SLK 200 ,,,No compressor,, year 1998 approx. 160000 Km run with new TÜV/AU Price:VB 3800 Euro What should I pay attention to when buying , ,illnesses ?,, Can one actually a so old FZ without bad doubt so buy from private (therefore no warranty). camshaft switch is already known to me should not be oiled (plug from sensor) capillary effect oil wanders through the cable to the control unit etc. and then it becomes expensive! rust at the tailgate license plate holder ,schweller, wheel runs, door edges and bonnet is also known to me ! roof should open or close within 28 sec and wash roads be tight I also know! Projection of the brand logo in the exterior mirrors
Hello, we have now picked up our new SLC 250 d at the Bremen plant in June. Although our order from January is still listed, the projection of the brand logo in the exterior mirrors could not be implemented at the production date. So this feature is missing from our mirror package. Meanwhile, however, the projection of the brand logo in the exterior mirrors is available. There should be this also as retrofitting (with part number), or? Unfortunately, nothing could be done about To find the LED mirror lights on “projection of the brand logo” with original Mercedes parts. And otherwise on the web unfortunately only the entry lights in the doors and not in the mirrors are spoken. Therefore I would be very pleased about information and part numbers for retrofitting. I’m already ready to pay salted prices for good performance. But lastly, the invoice at my branch for the service seemed quite high: Assyst B: 680,00 € Renewing brake fluid: 140,00 € Change of transmission oil and filter: 870,00 € TÜV + AU: 175,00 € Change of tyre + storage: 160,00 € Total: 2.025,00 EUR The change of transmission oil, tyre storage and brake fluid change cost a whopping 20% more than 4 years ago. i MB 77,- EUR, on the other hand at Amazon the one from Bosch 27,- EUR. Does that seem to me to be somewhat extreme?

Am I the only one who likes to have a wireless & TOUCHBARES Carplay radio in his SLC ?!
Hello first of all, I am looking forward to becoming active here as well, because at least I am just as new here in the forum as my new SLC at my door. And even if after the well thought-out change from my beloved 2004 SLK on the whole I am really very satisfied. Can and want to be with my new SLC with what in my eyes could even be called a technical backward step – not so easy to accept. And this is about the (NOT) touch for me. This is why I would like to ask the question: Am I really the only one who would like to build a contemporary: multimedia TOUCHBARES (Wireless) CarPlay Radio in his SLC ?!? If there should be the one or the other who has already successfully accepted this conversion project, then I have the great request and hope that e P.S. The photos show my beloved (at that time unfortunately still cabled for this but TOUCHBAREN) CarPlay retrofitting in my former 2004 SLK with the Alpine ILX-700. The photos show that I am very much in love with you, but that’s not the case.

moin dear community, I’m called fabian and I’m new here, because I’d like to look around after a g-class and ask for your advice. for many years my wife and I drive a land rover defender (they a td4, 110 and I a 90s, td5), besides that I have since 1997 a 944s2. my 90s and the 944s should now be soft because of dogs and children and a g-class is in visier. I have great interest in a m113, bj. 1998-2000, if I read all the tips here ha be. By the way, I find the interior and the optics great. do you have some tips and infos for me, pros or contras for the following years of construction? Raise R230 ash cover
Hello together I bought my SL unfortunately with defective ash cover. Now I want to finally expand the ash cover and send it to a company for repair or reprocessing. My question, does the whole ash cover have to be removed or can the carbon cover be easily separated from the lid in the built-in condition of the ash cover? I have found photos of covers and ash covers which have so artificial open noses, but will not keep them together quite cleverly. because also do not break anymore since the cover is also installed again. SL55 switches in the basement… for what?
I just bought a used optically very well-kept SL55. Now the one day after yesterday’s pick-up at my garage and this morning shows in the display: ABC : car too low : on … went then but quickly away… hmm is that normal..? But now to my question: There is a switch in the footroom (something right behind the parking brake pedal) … a crunchy switch made of metal with two wires going away from it… what’s that for? what was it for? no difference… at least if the engine is running in the stand.
