    Hello fan community, also I would like to change my R230 (SL500, white and light grey inside, with wood decoration – dark), a little bit and a little optically upgrade (peep up)…, including a matching wooden leather steering wheel, which I do not have and my search for it has remained quite unsuccessful (in matching wood color – in combination light grey), so I almost tend to look for a complete set (suitable)!? My SL is from 2003 – in the original – not plucked up, or something like that, so should I look for a complete set (suitable)! he also stay …, so no carbon, or designer finishing …!   • Rear apron replacement on Sl500 2. mopf because of new AGA

    Hello together, I would like to hear soon from my 2011 SL500 that there is an engine installed. After extensive research I decided for a 4-flute flap-nauspuff from vehicle technology Rudi. Now my “problem”: The first idea was to cut out the original apron accordingly so that the overall impression remains largely original. Rudi says: We can cut the existing bumper on 4 pipe but then the flap-controlled ESD will no longer be past I’ve seen a video with “my” exhaust. There’s the apron from the 55’s installed. I like it very much. But if that looks like the front of the 500’s 2nd mopf? Does it fit at all? The apron from the 2011’s 63amg would probably be correct. Only I don’t like it very much. And then I would have to remodel the front apron in a consistent way, too, wouldn’t I? Then there were AMG packages with another rear sh I don’t know what that looked like. Mine actually already has an AMG package with the dark rear lights, the 19″AMG wheels and a few more gimmicks, but no other apron. In short: Does anyone have the overview of what the rear (and possibly the front) looked like with the respective model? How did you solve the rear apron problem when converting to 4-tube? Pictures?   • Airbag module in leather for NEW G class

    Hello together I think it’s a pity that the NEW G63 will be delivered with a plastic airbag module or not even the option for a leather related airbag module exists. Would also pay a few EUR extra for this. After my order from the NEW G63 and the wish of a leather covered airbag module I was told in the Center of Excellence that such airbag bang tests would be very expensive, and this is one reason why they are not offered in all classes. only the mopf S class with the leather covered airbag module delivered ex factory. Brabus offers since the latest also the leather cover of the airbag module (see appendix). One can assume that the leather airbags of Mercedes and Brabus have been tested accordingly – and in case of emergency will also trigger. There are of course various suppliers/sattler with which one can have an airbag in leather/alcantara already from EUR 200. Whether these then in case of harvest properly trigger and open, remains natural I would like to have the ORIGINAL leather airbag module from the mopf S-Class (same steering wheel as in the NEW G) inclick. To do this, it would be interesting to know which airbag module is installed in the NEW G-Class and of course also in the mopf S-Class – if these are the same my plan goes on If someone had time/lust and dares to look at the NEW G… I would like to do it myself, but my NEW G comes to the end October 2018. Procedure: on the back of the steering wheel there are 2 small openings there you come in with a small screwdriver and can unlock the airbag, then you can pull it out and read on the back what is on it or shoot a photo – and please just press the airbag module back into the steering wheel.   • Power loss when engine warm / G500 (M113)

    Moin G-nossen. My G500 (2005, 72 TKM mileage) brings its full power only cold at the moment, after you just started it. After 1 or 2 km the gas intake becomes tough, or it needs clearly more gas foot to accelerate normally. What I noticed: engine fan jumps frequently and always at high speed at the same time. But then it goes out again at some point. Now the outside temperatures were very high the last days… But I think despite The temperature of the cooling water is normal. MKL is off. Error memory is empty. But consumption is significantly increased (about 30l to 100km). Does anyone have an idea?

  • Water cooler W463 300GE

    Servus together, the water cooler of the W463 is also oil cooler for the automatic transmission. Since I also convert 6 gear manual transmission would be the option available to use these connections as oil cooler for the engine. Can anyone tell me if this is possible or is the water cooler not designed for the oil pressure? And prefer to install an extra oil cooler ? Best regards

Today when changing candles the first candle plug when you stand in front of the engine is canceled!? Now I don’t know if I only need the plug or the cable which goes to the ignition coil? If only the plug can be changed this is hard to connect the cable to the plug? A few facts & figures, what happened so far: – Iphone 12 Pro Max with iOS 18.1.1 – Siri enabled – Bluetooth on and off – WLan on and off on the mobile phone – Iphone restarted – screen time settings checked (among other things, a tip from the Net z) – original Apple charging cable (various tested) – proper USB socket used in the car, iPhone charging works on both USB slots – MB employee tried it with its two iPhones and its cable – W463, Bj 2022 – smartphone integration CarPlay on board (SA code EV1 + EV3 + EV4) – system in G class reset to factory settings Would be happy if someone could help me.     Hi everybody, you don’t believe what happened to me. Yesterday on the highway while driving I wanted to clean the windows for a short time. I press the button for the window cleaning and suddenly the plastic cover flies away which covers the middle part of the wiper mechanism and it moves only a windscreen wiper. At the control at home I didn’t trust my eyes: the whole arm is broken! How about everything in the world can this happen?
