Hello, my friend her x117 is having serious problems, we don’t know any more and Mercedes doesn’t. We don’t know whether it’s the engine or the 7Gang automatic, Fzg is from 2017 and has run 75,000km. We have the following problem. 1. Stuttering/rubbing, no real gas pick-up when accelerating, stays stuck. (feeling of overgreasing) 2. Only at temperatures below 15 degrees. 3. If only once a day, when it was there, everything runs perfectly and does not come back, just like After cooling down a day later. 4. Once there, you can’t provoke it again, no matter what you do. 5. It feels like when you speed up ASR intervenes and holds the throttle valve. 6. It lasts about 2-3 sec. 7. Mercedes has already replaced the throttle valve and the LLK, now we are out of the guarantee. I have read something similar here before, because it was about water in the LLK, that would explain at below 15 degrees, only once a day, after cooling at the fo It’s back for once. Swallow of water approved and the thing is done, then it runs perfect again.. But I can’t really imagine that, then everyone would have to have it, then I thought of the LMM, but then the error would occur reproducibly in a row. The error memory is empty, in the back of my mind I also have the 7 gear automatic, could also be that when accelerating it doesn’t switch down properly and it comes to stuttering/flattering because it doesn’t we really don’t know what to do, live with it and hope it doesn’t get any worse, repel a car and hope another 220/250 isn’t affected or exchange parts senselessly. It’s also dangerous, you want to speed it up and you can’t do it for 2-3 sec, when you overtake or start at a junction that can be dangerous if you don’t get away. I hope you can help. Mfg

GLC 220D 4M: Engine damage caused by defective Bosch injector after 95,000 km
Hello and good evening, I unfortunately had a motor damage after only 95,000 km with my GLC last month. Would like to know if there are similar cases and how you have dealt with them. My vehicle: Mercedes GLC 220D 4M, built 01/2017, approx. 95,000 km mileage, all inspections carried out regularly at the local Mercedes branch. Everything happened on a very normal motorway ride. I had already 400 km in a quiet drive (about 150 km) behind me and still 100 km before me. Suddenly. after a road sink, I want to step back on the gas and nothing happens. No acceleration, max. 25 km/h, and at the stronger pressure on the accelerator pedal it starts to jerk easily at the rear. Over the side strip I reach the next stop after 3 km. After transporting back by ADAC to my Mercedes-contract workshop the following diagnosis is made: A defective Bosch injector on the 4th piston produced a hole/crack in the 4th piston. ur costs approx. 16.000 EUR plus VAT. therefore approx. 20.100 EUR. Cularity on the part of Mercedes is rejected, as state of the art (“…. injectors do not actually break…..). Has anyone experienced similar things? Is Mercedes really so “unculant”? Actually, I had assumed that Mercedes engines are therefore more expensive, as they keep more anxious. 95.000km also keeps any other, cheaper engine loose. VG AE

Väth – +21hp at the 200 by fan manifold!?
Hi all, the tuning company väth you know surely all. which offer for the slk200 (without compressor) a tuningkit: “+21 hp through exhaust system and fan manifold” I am quite skeptical… one thing is clear, exhaust system does not bring an increase in performance, and that the fan manifold 20hp and 30NM should bring I can’t believe! cost would be ~1300€ Performance data: 157hp, 220NM/4600 someone already has experience with it, or can take on it?

Hello guys, I’m here again. For a long time nothing happens with the SL. My vehicle: sl 500 , Bauj. 4/93 But now.: Wanted to drive backwards out of the garage. Starter turns, battery full. All lamps on, on tacho unit. But don’t start. No ignition spark. I tried in the internal All the world speaks of an overload protection relay. But where is it? At least not left in the moto room under the plastic cover, as I always read. What can it be? I am grateful for every hint. Many greetings from Kassel! Michael

380 SL questions !
Hello together, now it’s time. I would like to buy a R107 380SL. For a long time I have been looking for a car which could be considered a classic car. Since I am new in the field I would have a few questions and would be happy if someone could give me tips. I found a 380SL BJ 1985 in blue for 9,000€ which stands in food from California. This ran 130,000 km. Yesterday I went to the dealer and looked at it with my half-knowledge. r statement is the basic substance in order. With the engine he did a compression test and it would have to be set something to run on all 8 pötten. At the stand he probably runs clean. I told him that I would like to buy this with TÜV and driving work. He would hit on 3,000€ and make me this fresh. In 2015 he would then get an H license plate. Therefore my questions. I would use this only in the summer months. a) Is a 380SL with 204 hp from USA e ine good choice? b) Does the engine differ from the German 380SL (is there different because of fuel or PS?) c) Can you have these tested by an independent professional That would be the first rough questions. I would be very happy about answers. VG

Buy advisable ? 380 SL, Bj, 83, 130,000 km, US version, good condition, nice color combi
Hello friends of the sheet metal, I am interested in a MB R 107, with 380 machine. The car looks super optical, was painted in the USA “very good ” and is now available for sale. A retired car man has maintained the car and sold it now. My question: I have read it good and worse about the 380 engine many other forums. Is the purchase advisable? Many say, then prefer a 280 or 450, 500er than a 380er. is it true? I want to have Crusen and a metal solid & color-tech. nice car, no racing. The advice in forums goes to the later models from 86, because more mature and younger. But rather wait and pick up one from 86 and then a 280 or 450/500 he ?? Would be nice if you give me advice and help, whether the 380 after all has no bad reputation. Thank you …. Spydermen

SL450 US model – when to choked?
Good afternoon to the ladies and gentlemen, I would like to buy a 107er and have a specific 450er in mind, Bj 07/1973. Now the seller indicates this with 165KW, but the US models were throttled, right? Have already seen a table, however, where it says that this can be different depending on the year of construction. Long speech, short meaning: can it actually be that this special SL450 has got a 165KW strong four and a half liter installed???
