  • C32 Compressor AMG Limo. Experiences?

    Hi Speedjunkies. Who ever had the opportunity to test/compare a C32 AMG and a BMW M3 E46/E36 3.2. So in the sound I find my untuned E36 M3.2 much more sporty. How about the handling? So far only the two M3s have driven both without SMGs. How about the spas factor from ESP/DSC turned off? I find the old M3 better to control, since the rear is earlier but slower. Mercedes apparently has no blocking diff. G C32 also noticeable over the front wheels such as the C320. Is the SMG of BWM comparable to the Speedshift (under full load)? I drive mainly curvy country roads and in the city. At top speed and highway rides I am not very busy. I am rather a traffic light abzocker and corner road driver. Also the drifting around traffic islands makes me fun. Write everything you have of experience. Thanks QUADRAL

  • Mercedes doesn’t want to sell me a chrome key (G500, 2005, JP)

    After the old key of my 2005er 500er was no longer particularly respectable, I wanted to order a new one at MB. Since 200x these are delivered in the quite chicer chrome case. Said done, Rohling arrived today. But now it was not the one with the chic chrome edge, but so a MB Vito/A-Class savings issue with black plastic edge (see photo). Incl. programming etc. the thing lies at several hundred Euros. Since I express m I didn’t accept it for the time being. Further research at the dealer showed, however, that for my Japan import 2005 G500 there seems to be no chrome version, but only the hard plastic vito variant (for the price and for a G500? Can that be?). I realize that my Japan key (probably) radios on a different frequency than the German keys. But why should the thing deswg. be executed in plastic? If there is actually no chrome variant gi bt, I can then take the plastic key and put it in a chrome case myself (is it on Ebay for cheap, cheap). Wouldn’t it be an alternative… even though I don’t have a chance at all at the purchase price. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLjskrAqEtM builds apart a nn chrome key. There are the side parts inserted. But with my black it looks as if they were poured with the case. Thus the conversion would be also n Is it possible…?

  • Rear window heating ticks

    Hello! I have been the proud owner of a C250TD, EZ 10/95 for two weeks, i.e. the 96 model with now 86 tkm. Each time I activate the rear window heating, the yellow LED lights up for about three seconds and then starts to flash, which according to the manual means: too many consumers switched on etc., rear window heating deactivated. But: The battery is fine, had a new one for the test. The generator also seems to be OK, because despite fog lights I have now suspected the combi relay for Blinker/Wischer/HSH and have already disassembled it. Result: The relay pulls on (visible) for about three seconds and then switches off again. Among other things, a small microcontroller sits on the circuit board, which takes over the control. At the DC dealer I was already, who wants 97 euros for a relay and does not want to take it back under any circumstances, if the F As long as I’m not sure that the relay is defective, I don’t spend 97 euros. Did any of you ever have similar problems or maybe know if the corresponding monitoring circuit is really in the relay or maybe directly in the console for climate etc.? Ciao, Tom

    Hello, I’m new here and I’m about to open a new topic: hihi! no seriously: So I have the above mentioned radio installed in my car and have the following problems: 1.) It doesn’t play a burnt CD’s, what can it be, I read that it should be able to do so… 2.) How can I display the traffic radio (i.e. TP function) 3.) how can I store or delete the transmitters achja, unfortunately I don’t have any operating instructions, otherwise I would probably have to ask the questions do not put!!
