Hello, I have been a proud owner of a GLS 500 since a short time. I would like to drive this car like my previous at least 10 years and 300T km. Now I have the opinion that engines should be extended after a nice warm ride. Of course I do not talk about constant driving in the limiter, but 3/4 of the speed range I have always used. And that’s exactly what I can hardly do with the 9-speed automatic. That keeps the speed always extremely low, the engine dumps constantly somewhere between 1300-1600 revolutions, although the red range only starts at 6200. Even with fast driving it is already switched up at 2000. On the highway at 180 it is hardly more than 2000. Now you can read everywhere that gasoline direct injections tend to be coked anyway, now I wonder if these extremely low speeds do not accelerate these deposits yet. Because under normal circumstances you can not drive this engine with this transmission so easily. Of course you could switch it manually etc. but I think most people will not pay attention to this. How is your opinion about this? I might not have any problem with my attitude and I don’t want to get rid of it!

W463 300GE engine 103.987 dies after a short drive in idle mode
Good morning – now it has caught me. First of all the vehicle information Mercedes G-Model 300GE – EZ: 1991 2-door version Engine: M 103.987 (M 103 E 30 CAT) – transmission: automatic Since Monday I have the following problem. Cold condition – car starts perfectly and drives as it should. Then, after about 10 minutes drive everything is at operating temperature. Continues to drive – but now a STOP at the traffic light, or similar. The engine runs uneasy and then goes out. Starting is possible again – but I have to press the accelerator a little bit and stay on the brake – and it goes on. However, this is not a permanent solution. Distribution cap has already been checked – everything is in order. I am now missing further ideas – I guess on false air – which means YOU have to say hello to Johann.

G-Class W460 Purchase?
Hi together, since I am still quite ignorant of the G-Classes, I wanted to ask the professionals what they are saying about this offer?https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… I just want to have a fun vehicle… I wonder how the G-Class got an H-mark, because rebuilt (stump back, winch, rims, tires)? Can one retrofit a rear seat? Thank you and kind greetings

126 140 or 210?
love community a small request would like to know if the old s500 is able to keep up with the 126 with the “new” old e-class 210 or even surpasses it…..so I mean now only from the processing comfort etc….motorization is of no concern to me….is really only about the comfort durability etc. etc. say zb the seats the feeling of driving noise is very different (use is my heart no matter because the 1000 km I make in the month….naja) I don’t know how much the processing of one we say e200 d and e500 is different….or anyway? game actually already the longer with the thought about getting around me a new merc…and I really don’t know about the optical of the 126 seaehr though the 140er is also nice….diesel or benziner yes….when after the reason goes I should take thissel….how said 1000km in the month is really net the wearik and now I like to be very happy about the way of doing it.

C126 -> I’M SHOCKED!!! WHO SOWAS MAKES SOUTH …
Hello Mercedes friends, I’ve just stumbled on mobile and co. again after my dream car. There I found this pitiful 420 SEC. Who a noble car, or rather a model of the German car industry so disfigured and abused belongs to immediately killed! I will not understand such a wallalism (otherwise you can’t describe it) with the best will! How do you think about it? Here’s a picture of the horror and the matching link: DISCOVERED So where I’m about to be, even more horrifying: I recently at the MTV broadcast “PIMP MY RIDE” an old w126 300D. Since that day, I’ve hated these types of GAS from the USA! They have painted the beautiful old S-Class really pink, the car with everything overcharged and even robbed it of its honor. Dei have reduced the Mercedes star and have made the initials of the owner from Plexiglas. afterwards they have not given it a cool place with diamonds, I would have loved it!

The new S class
Hello,s0 she looks like:http://auto.t-online.de/c/12/35/20/96/12352096.html I think Mercedes is counting on progress at the expense of a noble design. Can’t combine both? So I don’t like this new S class anymore. Just as little as the CL now – just boring. Where is the joy of a beautiful car?How do you like the new S class (study)?MFGPluto

Beginners with Mercedes W140 ?
Becoming 18 years old next and looking for a vehicle. Have been busy with it for a long time and have always stuck to the S-Class W140 because it appeals to me very much in terms of price and appearance. What bothers me about the vehicle is the enormous maintenance costs, i.e. petrol, taxes, workshop costs etc.? But you also have to say, I don’t think at the moment you get so much car for so little money How does it look with the insurance of the vehicle there are special tariffs etc.?

Which SLK has the best price-performance (or fun) ratio from your point of view
Hello together, as a real “car-cracker” I think about getting me a convertible in addition to my existing fleet. Although I – how easy it is to recognize by my signature – come from the Audi warehouse, my focus is on the SLK because of the tin roof. The car would stand outside and also have to “ran” in winter as a city car, so that I can shy away from a fabric roof. So far, so good. What I am not quite conclusive about despite extensive foray reading is the choice of motorization and the year of construction (and thus ultimately the price class). The SLK desired should show a balanced balance between expected loss of value and expected age-related repair costs, city traffic without ticking off and make fun on the highway. On the highway it should not blame itself, but here is by no means the focus, since with A6 and RS6 motorway solids already exist. Last but not least: Economicity plays a serious role, because I don’t want to spend money on the best of all things.
