Hello, my father (70 J,) has sold his Mitsubishi L200 pickup with living room. Has now become too big and he wants to switch to a small caravan. But needs a short, smaller and still economical all-wheel drive with gear reduction. He drives with it 2 times a year in Sardinia on his garden plot over an old military road. No way with an unchangeable all-wheel drive. Now I have no idea if#s still exists. And he doesn’t want to drive a large (Landrover, Jeep, Mitsubishi) anymore. Does anyone have a tip? Should also be reasonable in consumption. Which brand offers such nwas or offered something? Not older than 4 years… or just current new model. Annual car would be the best. Hello dear motor talk community, I have a question, I would very much like to buy an SUV, which should cost about 1500-2500 Euro, like older models (Ez: 2003-2005) as diesel vehicle. I came across some models. 1x Kia Sorento 2.5, but I have often read here about engine damage 2x Hyundai Santa fe, which is not quite known to me. Do you have an idea, which car is especially robust, so where also 200,000 KM are moderate. It would be great, we nn the cars have only ESP, ABS and power steering. Does anyone have a good experience with a certain SUV brand located in the price segment? Sorry for my little knowledge, am still relatively green behind the ears. Thank you for your help! Hello dear ones, a new horse car has to come. Unfortunately, the engine is on strike with my Subaru Outback. Since I really loved the car, I would also like to have one again. But at the used car market of Subaru there is nothing neat to find for weeks. Do you have an idea? Here the requirements: – Train load from 1800 to 2000kg – Ground clearance (Outback was enough, Passat Alltrack & Audi Allroad not enough) – All-wheel – Space in the trunk – Gasoline or diesel that also with short distances k lar kommt – Versus um die 10L – Reliability / keine konstanten Reparations – gerne Automatik – Preis bis ca. 8.000€ My subari never had a repair until the engine damage. Here I am unfortunately quite spoiled. From the Sorrento / Santa Fee / Tiguan fraction I read in the forums insanely much negative (turbo & engine damage, chips in diesel, clutches & gears that can withstand no more than 130,000km etc.). I will emigrate to South America and would like to take a off-road car with me, the things are under quite sucked out there. Cost-effective to buy there are Americans like the Tahoe, Suburban, Expedition and so on. But are they also off-road or only large all-wheel-combs? The Japanese are considerably more expensive, but also better? I am looking for a car about 2-5 years old, Fuel consumption and engine capacity are secondary, I upgrade a petrol truck to gas, that I get down there. The car should be reliable, easy to maintain and robust. In addition, it should be able to pull a large trailer. So a egg-legging woolen milk sow. Can you give me tips?

hello, a friend of mine is master of some hektar land. now I wanted to ask if it is legal to drive there with an old off-road vehicle WITHOUT Tüv and WITHOUT insurance. Tüv never gets the car again and therefore also an insurance does not bring anything. Hi, I notice with my XJ that after a few weeks it lost or consumed about 2-3 liters of cooling liquid. In addition, the cooling water is rust-colored. When I bought the car, I noticed that the whole engine was covered with this dried rust paint, but it could be washed off well. A mechanic said that water might be squeezed out at some clamp and distributed on the engine at wind. Since I have the XJ and drive (half of a J ahr) but this rust-colored dust has no longer settled on the engine, but he apparently loses water anyway. He does not smoke white or otherwise out of the exhaust, engine runs top. I looked yesterday, after filling up water two weeks ago the stand is still ok, the water temperature was just below 100 degrees, is still normal or? Does anyone know what that could be? Why is the water rusty and why does it consume cooling water from time to time??
