Hello your off-road experts the winters become harder especially with us in the middle mountains – so I would like to buy a off-road car – the German cars (X5 – ML) are too expensive with 80,000 € – I love the new Jeep Grand Cherokee – which costs only 50,000 €. Now came to me another “idea” – a horny off roader for above mentioned price… ask: what speaks against the H3 – off-road in the snow is it yes why is it so cheap after 1 year ?? (UVP is almost 50,000) EZ 12/09 1 5,000 km what speaks against the H3 – what for ? you can still operate it with the gas system? who can help me with the decision thanks alex

Experiences Golf iV with Seikel suspension and mature 205/70 R15
Moin, as the forum name already says, I am just like my Fau Förster and now and then the one in my opinion significantly too deep Golf Kombi disturbs. For our usual paths in the forest we do not need any four wheel but more ground clearance more often. Hasz von Eeuch someone experience with the raising of Seikel (3.5 cm) and the strapping to 205/70 R15. The latter should bring another 1.7cm compared to the standard tire 195/65 R15. In addition, there are also AT tires in this size. Greetings Jörg

SUV for approx.1.500€??
Hello everybody, I am absolutely layman in cars. That’s why I urgently need your advice. I need a solid towing vehicle. I prefer an off-road vehicle (comb also goes) that cannot be killed and can pull about 2000kg without problems. I only need a car like this as a “weekend car” for my horse, and that is I regularly go tournaments from March to September (routes amount to up to 200km on a weekend). Since I am a student the car must be above all be cheap and must not be completely broken within the next years or. no major repairs would be of course best. I have now on the Internet simply search for cars in the price category and found among others the Cherokee. But now I do not know to what extent it is worth to buy the Cherokee in this price category. As said, he can have dents and bumps, that is absolutely no matter, main thing the car drives another 3-4 years (per year no more than 3,000km) The F so the spring/summer is moved over each to every second WE. What do you mean? problem is simply the price, I can not change anything at all, max. 1500€. of course other cars are also eligible, just all those who can pull a hanger with horse loosely… I am totally overwhelmed in the whole thing P.S. I also found other vehicles, e.g. the frontera, the ford Explorer etc. Looking forward to a few answers 🙂

Towing vehicle for two horses – petrol or diesel?
Hello, I’m looking for a towing vehicle that can pull 2 horses; with two rather large warm flowers at least 2 tons of trailer load have to be used. The car should usually be used as a normal car, does not cost more than 15,000 EUR, is moderate in maintenance and does not let me stab on the first muddy meadow – the egg-legging wool milk sow just ;-). After rough overturning of the weights (Hänger approx. 800-1000 kg, 2 horses approx. 1200-1300 kg) come own After my research only the following off-road vehicles in question: – Kia Sorento – Nissan X-Trail – Hyundai Santa Fé – Landrover Freelander All the other off-road vehicles I know, which are allowed to pull so much, are simply too expensive or have already run a lot as used ones. At the moment, the Santa Fé seems to me to be the most suitable one, since it is also brought quite well to get. Should one necessarily buy a diesel or also a petrol truck withstand the towing load? Is such a search only question the following off-road vehicles in question: – Kia Sorento – Nissan X-Trail – Hyundai Santa Fé – Landrover Freelander heavy car as a diesel (exception: X-Trail, who won all possible tests as a diesel) not too cumbersome in everyday life? I drive about 10,000 km a year, maximum 15,000. What do you think? Thank you very much!

Safety Petrol canisters
I come this summer, among other things, through the Karakum desert. Since there are not very many gas stations there I am dependent on having 20-40l petrol in canisters. Therefore my question: is it worrying (apart from the usual safety concerns to have petrol in a canister in a car) to carry petrol in a canister at 45-50°C air temperature? Are there differences between plastic and metal canisters?

wants to sell my defender 90 td5 and meet only tucked away
hello together, I’ve been trying to sell my Defender 90 for about three weeks and have had strange encounters since almost every day. finnen krichen with digital cameras through the car and talk about contractors who want to press money into my hand and then at some point report to me, eurocarmobil pours sms on me. danen leave me endless messages on the page. Austrians want to be called back, Englishmen want to send me high queues, which I practice r my account should run and the rest should be transferred back. I should call back 0190 numbers and dictate Eastern European chassis numbers. is there actually also normalos in the scene? is there any way to get in touch with people with whom you can normally talk about tüv and asu in order to agree on a fair price? so about tips, where you can advertise, call or put on the net, I would be very grateful!

Standard frontal protection bracket
Hello people I have a question, I have a SsangYong Korando KJ, which is Baujar 20.06.2000 and have an original SsangYong front guard which is to be built out of fever glass, and would like to know now if I can easily install and drive, or do I have to have it registered? As already said the vehicle is Baujar 20.06.2000 and falls out of the EC Directive 2005/66/EC, and there is this front guard with many Korandos as standard ex works, so this j How do I have to proceed now? Go to the TÜV and tell the TÜV examiner that the vehicle has already started from the factory or had and still registers it afterwards? I also have a copy of the test report for obtaining the type approval according to § 21 StVZO of the DEKRA and a copy of the approval certificate Part I of a friend who has the same car and where the front protection bar is registered in the letter, in his letter the front protection bar was entered so etragen: “fz. mit frontschutzhägel*”, could this help me if I get the lift for my registered? I also uploaded 2 pictures from the original frontschutzhägel of SsangYong. Hope for an answer from you! MfG Manuel

Buying off-road vehicles
Hello together! 🙂 I’m still new here and hope you can help me a little bit. I’m currently looking for a suitable off-road car, but I never had to deal with this topic in the past. Well, once is always the first time. 😉 I’m looking for a car for the following applications: – Pull trailer with boat (approx. 2.2t), – Garden and construction work (private) so hanger with material, green cut or similar pulling (max. 1.3t), – Dogs (a gr Oßer trunk would be nice), – rides to the garbage dump (the slopes are sometimes not really nice), – and in the future also rides in the forest to the wood. I would like to be able to travel by car but also quite sometimes longer distances on the highway. Overall I come probably on such 25.000 km year with this car, therefore it should also be equipped accordingly safe. It should be a used car, which I actually buy (no leasing or so) and then also over more I think that the German SUV (X5, ML) is less suitable for this purpose and a G-Class really costs a lot of money. 🙁 I think that I would like to keep up to 3 years, but that you can also get scraps without falling dead … You know what I mean. 😉 Unfortunately I completely miss the overview, which cars are suitable for the application and above all also durable and reliable. I thought so far about cars like the Pajero, Landcruiser or Cherokee. I think that the German SUV (X5, ML) are less suitable for this and a G-Class really costs a lot of money. 🙁 I think that I like this way until 3 0.000,- € could be spent. Do you know advice?

Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2.7 bought the day before yesterday – first problems
Hello, I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2.7 Bj 2002 Limited the day before yesterday, with 228t km, in general a really great car, but I have a few minor problems with it, and wanted to ask if you could give me any tips, (the previous owner I reach only on January 7th, which is until then on vacation), 1. The heating only goes on the driver side, on the passenger side it cools, the Beistzer meant there is a lever above the glove compartment to flip, he has it in the In winter and summer, everything worked wonderfully. Does anyone know who, and can anyone tell me where the lever is? 2. My blinker doesn’t go half the time, think Relai, where exactly does that sit, and is there only one that I do not break down the wrong one (is it everywhere to buy, or is it the sepcial jeep)? 3. Yesterday in the evening when driving home, the control lamp for engine management and transmission did not go off after starting, and then it no longer switches, just think more in the first gear, then drove a few hundred meters, then turned off the car, and rebooted, then drove, then everything was fine, and today in the morning the same, again the lamp did not go out first, then drove quite carefully a few hundred meters, car parked, started, and see as it switches back to normal, and the lamp goes off. I am grateful for every tip, is my first jeep : ) Such a really great car, great for driving, great equipment : ) Greetings and beautiful holidays
