  • Lada Niva Conversion

Hello dear forum, since I’m going to be in November 18, I’m starting to plan my car.Since I’m working in the forest, only a four-wheeler in sight from the beginning. For a long time I’ve been caring with a Lada Niva 4×4…I just like the car very well and is also affordable for me from the price. The only thing that bothers me about the Russian is that it’s almost only available as a petrol engine and what I heard from my acquaintance so he should swallow like a lo So that the Niva as a normal petrol engine would be too expensive for me in the maintenance, but there is still the possibility to upgrade it to autogas, which is why I am here today.Do you have experience with the conversion to autogas, especially at Lada? Is the conversion worthwhile? What would I have to reckon with for?….And I would like to “do” the Niva a little bit more high cars, so I would also install a set of higher and coarser tyres. t how much cost would I have to calculate if I were to carry out all these modifications? mfg Robert

  • Attachment load – what fits?

Hello dear ones! I’m sure you’ve already read a lot about this topic. Nevertheless, I’d like to turn to you because I don’t see through the information anymore. So, I need a new car. But we have 2 children and a dog. Of course the car should offer space. In addition, I want to be flexible and sometimes transport my horse. Think of the “thickness” so weighs on the 480 kg. I don’t have a hanger yet, but I calculate it with 700 – 750 kg. Käme so think a car with 2000 kg trailer load is nice, but not necessarily economical and useful for us. Because more I drive back and forth between kindergarten and school. Could I sometimes expect a car of the 1300 kg to pull something like that? As diesel of course! Or what do you mean? Must it be a off-road car or a kind of van (though thought about the Doblo (120hp diesel) because of the place, yes, just don’t laugh ; -) Or what about the Terios? Would be nice if I could get some tips here. Thank you very much!

  • Search for good and cheap compressor

Hello together, I plan a holiday in Corsica. Since I may also want to take some beaches under the wheels there it will probably not be missing here and there to lower the air pressure and increase it again. Now I am looking for an inexpensive compressor that is operated either over the battery or over the cigarette lighter. 215/65R16 wheels have to be filled up. Probably only from 1.5 to 2.2 bar. So nothing dramatic. Thanks!

  • Buy pick-up, but which one?

Hello, wanted to ask the experienced community, which pick up should I get. Yes, it must be a pick up, because I just like the car and I need the characteristics. What should he be able to pull? -> Trailers 2-3t (have horses) -> off-road capability (but the total off-roader I am not, meadows and rough forest paths) -> Comform (useful paltz with my nearly 2m size -> Double Cab) -> Something should go on 120-160hp -> Used car BJ 2002 – 2008 -> Technology / funkt It has to ionize -> All-wheel switchable -> Good locking behaviorWhich brands/models have I already thought about? -> Toyota Hilux -> Nissan Navara -> Mazda BT-50 Hope you can advise me well, because I bought one before spring 2013. New car does not come into question financially. I found a lot in the range 10-15t €. Have recently an Audi A4 year 2000, but it is really pleasant from the driving comfor. But the seat is at the back and at the bottom and I still have an Audi A4 year 2000, but it is really pleasant from the driving comfor. My mother has a RAV 4 (Bj 2007 136hp) but this is a woman’s car through and through. How do you do it with the insurance, for the purpose of trucks and therefore cheaper?I forgot something more. My daily off to work are about 20km of country road, live even on the “mountain”. And for the winter, I want to have four-wheel drive. Highway I drive on average 2x and the 100km. Greetings from AUT Lukas

  • Which car is right for me?

Hi, my name is Philipp and I am the new I have had my driver’s license since November last year and am currently driving a Renault Clio. A nice car and it fully fulfills its purpose as a first car. But now I am increasingly thinking about another car. I have been very interested in jeeps and other off-road vehicles for a long time, but I can’t afford such a car because of fuel consumption. My Clio consumes around 6 to 7l. At 8l it would be so unheard of. I’m looking for a car with which I can also drive to the festival (metal festival). Visually, I’m looking for such cars as this one:http://www.motorvision.de/…/offroad-berg-strecke.jpg or (may such ads be shown here? If not, please delete):http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?… I don’t like a VW. Do you know something that would be recommended for me? If you still have information bria cht to narrow down the election, then tell me =) I already thank you for the answers, Grützi Philipp

  • Towing vehicle for horse hangers of 3/4 (3.5t)

Hi people Hope you can help me. I’m looking for a towing vehicle for a 3/4 horse trailer, need 3.5t trailer load. Actually, I’m a fan of the Defender, but this is not really motorized (must be a diesel) and in the hand-operated version also not exactly the yellow of the egg in the trailer operation. Then I got there in the forum also a hint that the Defender in the trailer operation gets extremely at its power limits and already As I mostly travel in the Bernese Oberland, a certain power is of course an absolute must for me. Now, from the archaic type, which a Defender reflects for me, the off-road primeval rock JEEP can easily keep up with. And with JEEP I like the Wrangler Unlimited in Sahara execution. Now I am looking for tips, at least also from horse fools, who can tell me if a Wrangler Unlimited with the 2.8 CRD machine is suitable for the trailer operation. Since I can not tucker with my 3 horses from garage to garage and test different towing vehicles 2, 3 weeks, I am naturally dependent on information and experience of Wrangler drivers, but also look forward to tips from drivers of other manufacturers, am very brand-open. In advance thank you very much for your efforts. Salut Alfan

  • Large combo with ground clearance sought

Moin, I’m currently looking for an EWM (Eierlegendenwollmichsau). We’re looking for a vehicle with good ground clearance, long-distance suitability, good space and comfort. It’s important for us to have good ground clearance for Scandinavian gravel roads, for example. However, the car should also be reasonably economical and comfortable to drive 1,000 to 1,500 km in one piece. It’s not supposed to go into the right terrain. A diesel should be it. C 90 for me (1.98m tall and long legs) is surprisingly tight on the driver’s seat and the XC60 offers too little space. The XC 70 has 23-25 cm ground clearance. Otherwise I have looked at the higher set A6, Skoda and Passat so far. They are all around the 15 cm with the ground clearance. The Volvo already has much more to offer. Subaru is unfortunately also too tight for me. Well pure SUV ́s like X5 or Q7 are a little too heavy for us and offer from the pure trunk area they also no more than one XC70, just more height. I want to buy the car as 2-3 year old vehicle, spend almost 100 tkm of mileage and up to 25 TEUR. Do you still have a vehicle tip that could fit into the grid? Greeting Thomas

  • Buying a car in Australia

Hello! I’m new here! A few weeks ago I moved to Australia. Now a vehicle purchase is on. I will look at two models on Friday. Once a Land Rover Freelander, V6, Bj 2002, KM 120,000, checkbook maintained and once a Land Rover Discovery LS BJ 1998, 3.9 liters, KM 193,000, checkbook maintained. Basically I only have one question for both vehicles. What do I have to pay attention to in order not to land a wrong purchase? Thank you.

  • Off-road towing vehicle

Since our tractor is no longer legally to be moved in the road traffic now a towing vehicle for the forest to bring wood. Speak forest paths with lots of mud and deep lanes. Therefore must have with all wheel what good ground clearance. zZ. falls to me personally only one load Niva. As an annual car for 6k to have. Locks and can pull 1900kg. Personally we pull rather less .. about the 500-1000kg max. The whole V8 etc. unfortunately out there cost and use no more fit. in tip for me … may cost up to 5-6k. Opel Monterey 3.2 RS I still found …

  • UAZ Hunter

Hello guys, I have heard of a UAZ off-road vehicle, which is supposed to come on the market in Germany optically and technically, starting from 10,000 euros. Originally it was planned with a diesel engine 2.4 l from Andoria Poland. Now it is supposed to come with a 2 l Landy 4-cylinder. Does anyone have any more information? Is the engine with 100 hp strong enough for such a car? How are the rust arrangements at the UAZ plant in Russia? For me everything is interesting, because I want a buy such cars, because in the long version it should not come new over 12,000 euros. So please, who can say something! Thank you in advance motobott
