Hi guys, I’m thinking about a possible new purchase of a good used 4×4 and now I’ve come to a ZJ V8 since 1997 after a long test etc. The 5.9 is of course something fine (also because of the slightly better equipment), but why does the Motor Super Plus need? In the case of the 5.2, it has an even lower performance yield. And could you drive it with Super? Maybe through these Power ECUs? And is it really true that the HA (is then a Dana44, or) the 5th. 9s has not grown? Thanks, mfg Steffen

Storage space – who offers the most?
Hello, the following problem: My “old ones” remember to exchange their previously used Mercedes E-Kombi. This is the model series 210 which was characterized by everything I know by its quite enormous volume of storage space, also in comparison to the successor is that right? Well, in the future they actually need more space, especially in length and width, but also in height it is of advantage. However, especially my father has a certain amount of advantage. n the demand for compfort&power, vehicles like a VW bus, Ford transit etc. that would really offer the space they need, so everything falls out. That’s why I thought of an off-road vehicle, but also there are not the really big hard devices in question that really offer space like a suburban etc. The direction would be rather like a VW Touareg, Volvo XC90 etc. The things have but as far as I know far less interior space than one can avoid due to their external dimensions So my question is: Is there a possibility to compare the liters of second-hand cars somewhere? Ideally the volume of the E 210 in comparison? The price range goes up to 20,000€, the vehicle may not be older than 7 years and should have under 175,000 on the clock. I myself had thought most of all about the Land Cruiser 100, because an GL is still too expensive at the moment, but does it really offer more than one Touareg? Greetings

Search Site Vehicle
Hello I have taken a new job in which you don’t deserve too bad, but I need a long-term vehicle that can cope with not existing roads. At the moment I drive a Smart Fortwo and I stuck with it in a “Puddle” I looked at some SUVs and jeeps but so really off-road they didn’t come in front of me except Defender and G Class which have their price however 😯 When searching around I am then on a lobster H3 3 .5 with a gas system that would say so. However, since I want to avoid it to overestimate myself with the carHummer H3 Do I have some questions What do you think as a lobster connoisseur of the vehicle (price)??? How do I know that the lobster has an all-wheel drive??? in a video I have seen that the h3 has only an optional switchable all-wheel drive Addriver has

How good is the new Freelander II?
In this forum one reads and hears absolutely nothing about the new Landrover Freelander II. In the popular car magazines like AMS, Auto Zeitung, Auto Bild, Fourwheel Fun, Autobild Allrad etc. the new Freelander II has been juxtaposed with its direct competitors like the BMW X3, the Opel Antara, the Mitsubishi Outlander and of course the Toyota RAV 4. The Freelander has won almost all comparison tests, sometimes scarcely, sometimes thick. The alleg my tenor to this SUV is very postiti v: the good engine, the very good suspension comfort, the good workmanship and quality and the terrain suitability are praised. Unfortunately, all these “tests” say nothing about the reliability of the Freelander II in everyday operation. The sales figures of the FreelyII of the last 3 months are high, so that one or the other would have to drive the FreelyII already. I would be grateful about reports, since I give my current BMW X3 2.0d because of the grotesque bad suspension comfort and m The FreelyII appeals to me very much if the reliability is right. SUV or pickup searched
Hello I am looking for a new vehicle. This is supposed to replace my previous second car. Use is mainly road but now and then also via meadow and forest roads, often also as a tractor for an animal trailer (cows and horses). The question is what makes more sense. Pickup or off-road car. How much hp should it be? Petrol or diesel? At mileage 15000km/year should come together. Price-wise I don’t want to spend more than 10000 euros. Thank you

Landrover Discovery TD5 really so bad??
Hello Since I need a car with 3.5 t trailer load I would like to buy a Discovery . But everyone advises me from it and here I also read not really good things about Landrover ! I personally like the Discovery very well and I thought of a used TD5 so with 150tkm bj00 you get the from approx. 1200€ much more can unfortunately also not spend and the vehicle should then also lift about 100tkm with me ! What do you prefer to leave the fingers of it or stop It would be the only off-road car in the price range where I really like and where 3.5 t can pull ! Many still a patrol which is but again from the consumption higher and I like purely optically not quite so good ! salutes Jakob

All-wheel systems Pickups vs Pajero V80
ahoi ! I think in the medium term about the replacement of my pajero V80 3.2 DiD by a pickup after. the pajero is often used away from normal or at all any way (hunt) – where in some cases really off-road accessibility is required. that was also a reason against a typical suv and for a classic off-roader with support gear and mechanical 100% lock. however, an off-road pickup would be more practical overall, than tighter candidates I have the nissan navara as well as ford ranger looked at. BUT – if I read the data correctly NO pickup offers an all-wheel system which would be just like the V80 pajero ! the current ford ranger doesn’t even have any mechanical axle locks against price, only freewheel hubs, so that no possibility of a lock between front and rear axle and no reduction gearbox. the navara after all a reduction gearbox and against price a diffuser rear, but NO lockable central differential ential. i have looked further at isuzu and VW, misszeichnis! i haven’t found a pickup which has a mechanical 100% lockable mittlediff and a 100% lock. i overlook something at the dates or will i actually find no pickup of the mitsubishi pajero V80 in matters of off-road accessibility that can reach water ? many greetings!

Which offroader or SUV is right for me?!
Hello municipality, I’m a long silent reader here in the forum. Now I have a car purchase in my house at the latest in the spring, because my C-Class W202 can’t be saved anymore (in the meantime pretty much everything is rusted by….) I have an off-road car in front of me, now the variety of cars suggests me now and there you really lose the overview very quickly. The terrain where I move is very different. Since I am an enthusiastic angler I move very much in the forest (forest paths) as well as on the Rhine (field paths) where there are many potholes, where my C-Class has already sat up one or the other time…… (poor basement Furthermore, I need an AHK to pull a small motor boat. Since the car is of course not only needed for the hobby, it should also lie solid on the road and offer some driving fun. My daily work path is +- 36 km 80% expressway. It should also be family-friendly, as with u ns next year is planned to grow back Yes I know to find the egg legend Wollmichsau is not without. Conditions are 17500 euros, of course used cars and with my approx. 25ooo KM in the year it will probably be a diesel. To date I have looked at a Grand Vitara, however I find a “good” automatic transmission which did not convince me at the Vitara! Then a KIA Sorrento, I found very horny the cart, but there is a friend in my environment of the huge Problems with the Sorrento has. And last but not least my favorite of the ML, only unfortunately damned expensive! =/ I would be very happy about some advice from your side, Greeting Daniel

Purchase advice cheap/reliable SUV
Hello, I already posted this post in the Land Rover Forum, but unfortunately I didn’t get any answers. Then I went to this forum for further research and thought, here I might get a reply because we will soon move and a car will no longer be enough for us, my girlfriend wants to get her own car. She swam for the freelander, which is also priced in her budget. Since we both have little idea about SUVs, I hope for your help. as good as it is all helpful information: – Budget is 5,500 euros, but could be increased if it seems reasonable to ~12.000 euros. E.g. to buy the newer Freelander model (from 2006). Alternative SUVs/manufacturers of course conceivable. – Tax/insurance should not be too high – if possible no / ca. swachen of the model – KM performance is difficult to estimate, it will drive mainly around the 5-20 KM by car, but it will not be as good as t more than 10,000 km/year – Anhaengerkupplung is important, because it has a horse and this in future also likes to transport – two dogs available (small and medium size) – automatic/manual is no matter I create a Benizer makes more sense in the KM performance, whereby I have read that the freelander of the td4 would be the better choice. I hope you can help us further. Thank you & Gruss Barn
