    Since vintage cars are very rarely moved all year round and thus some have certainly already thought about the wintering I would like to ask you which storage types are recommended. Is a cloth under an autopyjama sufficient or should it be an air garage. Is it enough if the place of parking is covered or should it also be windproof? Does the ground play a decisive role (earth in a barn)? The variety of products is enormous and I h open you know which are recommended and which are not! Thank you for all the answers!

  • Fine dust regulation the end of the oldis?

    Hello, we in the city should introduce environmental zones according to the fine dust regulation. Supposedly the hardest case, all vehicles without an environmental badge can not be driven in the city area. Do you have to remove your old car now or drive only outside the city (which would not be possible with me)? Or does anyone know what of existing exceptions for old cars? Does it even affect Amis with (large) petrol engines? Would a retrofitted KAT(o.ä.) bring the badge can anyone estimate the cost? Many questions and much uncertainty on my side!!     Drivers since 1976, I have always owned cars with middle gear, only for 15 years I am convinced automatic driver.     Haaaaallo friends, I’ve been really trying to get some information. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything, maybe because I used the wrong key words. The following question: I have an old car with an H mark (petrol with green badge) and I want to do something. Sport auspuff, maybe a spoiler, not contemporary rims etc. I know that I should actually do a contemporary tuning at Oldtimer. Only here comes the point. Get i ch trozdem Tüv ohne H Kennel despite not contemporary tuning ? I don’t care (at the moment) the H license plate since I can ride with green badge quite relaxed in the inner city and outside anyway. As soon as I needed it again (unlikely) I would put the old things back on. lg

    hello oldtimer friends who of you was this year at ogp am nürburgring? wanted to catch an echo. I was rather disappointed by the ogp this year. apart from the Clasian formula one and the orwell supersportsscup. I had the feeling that there meanwhile the brand variety lost. where were the small and very small vehicles? not a single fiat variety seen there. where were the vehicles of the British car trophy? triumph dolomite,austin mini,mg ? where were the bent ley blower pre-war car? the drm (German racing championship) was actually a grieving game. where were the capries, escorts,elva,marcos? instead was a completely meaningless mini race set up with minis from the latest production. the driver camp was like a parking space for rich cloth new car owners who wanted to sniff out on important racing air. where were all the private racing stables? everywhere only commercial and sales stands the things wanted to sell with oldtimerei nothing too you have had similar experiences. mfg

  • H-Approval how original does everything have to be??

    Hello together, I have recently seen a show about the restoration of a Ford Mustang, where the one who built the car together with the Tüv on the basis of old brochures etc. has proven the original condition of his oldtimer for the H approval… To how far has one here actually room for action regarding safety… My consideration: build an old Ami (Mustang/Camaro or similar car from the 60s). But I would feel more comfortable if I had such a car. it could equip 3-point belts (also in the interior) and possibly a better/moderner braking system… then the vehicle still suffices the conditions for an H-approval? Does someone know each other in the things and can write something about it?? thank you in advance !!!!
