Safeguarding the sweetheart on the go
Hello, I have a urelfer and am always thinking about how I can secure the old car with little security features on the road, for example if I spend the night in the hotel or just sit in the restaurant and cannot see it. Alternatives: 1. Wheel claw: This is attached to the wheel, similar to that used by the police against false parkers, especially in NL. 2. Safety of the steering wheel: Here again there are two alternatives: 2a.: The solution that surrounds the dashboard With and without alarm. 2b. The solution, the steering wheel coupled with the brake pedal. In the solutions to 2. I have already heard that the steering wheel is simply sawn and the protection is thereby obsolete. Which is to be guessed? Have I forgotten one if necessary? What advantages and disadvantages are there? Thanks in advance for the inspirations.

Can you estimate the price of a car that is simply no longer sold?
Hello, I was commissioned to appreciate a young ?/old ?timer in the price on the Internet. Unfortunately I don’t get any information about the current price unless I would live in the Philippines It is a Mitsubishi Celeste 2000 A78, BJ 1977, 90 hp. with about 80,000 km, stainless. The color is as it can be seen on the picture. Since neither a dealer answers me nor anyone else in D-A-CH offers me this model, I wanted to ask you if you can call a price frame or at we I could turn around.

Is there still an approved DKW high-speed truck?
My acquaintances used to have a DKW high-speed truck. She proudly showed me old photos of how she was travelling with it. According to my findings, there is no authorised DKW high-speed truck anymore, only in the museum. Does anyone have any other insights? I mean the DKW high-speed truck with the loading area. In the file attachment you can see a model of it.

Design of the Volkswagen Beetle
Hello, since I am currently using car design, especially that of the beetle, I would like to collect some information about the design of this car. Unfortunately, I have not found anything meaningful on the Internet yet. The Volkswagen itself was developed by F.Porsche, it also took influence on the design? And how would you describe the design? Is there besides the term drop shape another for the design? What was so special about the design, so that after the war it became the True Volkswagen wur I hope I haven’t asked too many questions and I’m looking forward to your answers.

Hello dear oldtimer fan community, am new here in the forum and new in possession is also my Oltimer Porsche 911S, BJ 71, a dream in white. The question is now which engine oil is the best with such a vehicle. I also heard this the modern Vollsyn. Oils in these engines are not really cheap. Of course the car will need a little bit of oil but I am an opponent of this additive. So can someone give me a tip with which oil I should fill my little oldi and which Zu I’m happy to hear your constructive suggestions. Thank you very much.

Does anyone know any advice?
Hello I want to introduce myself briefly. I’m called Oswald, and I’m renovating an old APE (is such a cargo tricycle from Piaggio) Since I was always only a fence guest at Motor-Talk, I took a heart today because I am facing a problem and registered myself. Since it is such a big forum, I hope that there is the possibility that someone might know more. It’s about the following. My APE has a lot of plastic parts, which unfortunately by the tooth of time r Since there are hardly any spare parts for this and the vehicles are also very sparse, but I want to restore as true as possible to the original, I have considered whether it is not possible to rework the individual defective parts. I do not know how to do this exactly, therefore I ask. But I imagine something like tin casting. I did a lot of this as a child. And since I also repaired broken figures relatively easily, by simply making a new shape from this one and simply refilling it. Of course I don’t think of tin, but there are polymers that you can cast, right? Please don’t laugh at me when the idea is totally stupid. Maybe there is another solution. Googel doesn’t give much in the direction. Greetings and thanks in the foreground. Oswald
