Hello, I’m still new here, so if I ask “wrong” questions, I’m sorry for this. I’m looking for a Volvo P1800 (S or E prefers, no ES ). Now to my questions: What are realistic prices for this model (I’d like a ready-to-drive model, but you can also restore something)? I don’t have any real experiences with the restoration of cars (only with steam locomotives ). Can I start with such a vehicle? ändler and spare parts? You see, I have a lot of questions at the moment. Maybe someone can help me. Greetings, Marius

BMW 2000: Carburettor problems?
Servus dear oldtimer friends, I very much hope that someone can help me. I have been allowed to call a beautiful BMW 2000 carburetor Bj. 70 automatic my own for 1 1/2 years. So far I had a lot of joy in my BMW but now that it’s slowly going back to spring I want to make it ready for my weekly weekend tours. However, problems have occurred since last summer. After every longer service life you (my 2000) of course need a b The engine starts off quickly and quickly. After the engine has warmed up a bit in the stand and the engine gets calmer, it starts to glow strongly. The whole body starts to shake and shake (everything is still standing). As soon as I put in a gear, the jerking gets stronger and as soon as I go off the brake, it is soaked with a huge jerker. This is visually accompanied by a red light under the speedometer. T. (BMW driver should know the red light). Only after several attempts and a lot of gas in the P gear he starts to run. However, the jerkers remain unchanged. While driving he runs calmly and the engine is spinning joyfully and quickly. When I stop at a traffic light and go on the brake he starts to jerk wildly again. Now I lift my foot to step on the gas. As soon as I go off the brake and tap something on the gas on it a small pause occurs during the acceleration (short n When I’m on the gas), if I don’t give too much gas at this moment, it’s always interesting to start. That happens quite often. Often on a slope, but also on the flat road. I’m a student and unfortunately don’t have the necessary change for a professional but a friend as a mechanic (without carburettor Kentniss) and my littleness (no Kentniss at all). A few tips would be very helpful to what it might be and where to start the best Thank you very much in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: We have found out that the engine sucks in false air through a defective hose which we have replaced immediately unfortunately without success.

Car door painting, how many it costs about?
Hello together, last night after party in the parking garage I discovered that there are some scratching on my car (31.12~1.1 evening party can happen xD). The scratching is not so bad, and not very deep. But looks very “white”. The car is actually black. Now I want to ask how much it should cost if I go to a car body, and just let it paint. Thank you~~~ and Happy New Year~~~

4×4 Oldie for everyday life
Hello together, first of all to the situation: My company car is going back soon and I plan to take my future company car without private use. Therefore, a private replacement would have to be here. A replacement that fits perfectly into the current time: I want an oldie as a daily. Now I come to my actual question: Do you have suggestions here for me? It will definitely be a “bad weather car”. In summer I usually drive out my beloved 993. The car should definitely Have all-wheel drive – especially if it goes into the mountains in winter. Ideally it is built then between 85 and 93 to continue with a smile through the environmental zones of the inner cities. The car should not cost more than 20k – quite simply because I could not drive a rarity with my car lover heart in everyday life. I think of something like a Mitsubishi Pajero L040, a G 230, Nissan Patrol, Land Cruiser or a 90s Defender etc. My very great fear thereby loudly et however – how should it be different – rust. Just when I move the car for the most part in the rain and snow and he has to park every now and then for two or three days in the fresh air. I just ask you a question – does any of you have further suggestions, hints or even experiences? Best regards & a nice Sunday you Werti

Porsche Oldtimer, value?
Hello, I have recently been offered a Porsche 312 Algaier tractor from 1954. I only have the information that it is complete and functional, the manual is also available. Can anyone tell me what value such a vehicle has? Is this a very rare part? Hello, I am looking for a very special car on behalf of you. Unfortunately, I did not get along with the search, so I am now looking for help to you. A fun cabrio is wanted clearly under 10 T€ with quite simple and above all reliable technology. Also a really rustic sport cabrio in everyday condition. The car should be driven as a fourth vehicle by a beginner in terms of oldtimer / youngtimer. I hope that the “conditions” are not too are realistic and you can continue to help me. Greetings Stefan

Antachen des Oldtimer durch Besucher auf Ausstellung / Meeting / Treffen
Hello everybody, I often go to old-timer meetings. Now I have the feeling that the cars are more and more often touched by the visitors. So far so good. But if it’s ladies with freshly creamed hands, who can be photographed in front of a car and put their hand on the freshly polished varnish or they are children who tear around the Emily at the Rolls-Royce, the hat line goes up. Just last weekend experienced. There is partly on the (not eigenige) Ne) car located, best still with the belly and the belt buckle… And if you say something then you are still looked at stupidly and puffed up…. 3 years ago in my Fiat (unrestored, 56 years old with 54’000km… My absolute baby, because in the dreamlike condition) a dent pressed in with such a photo action…. No excuse and after detecting suddenly disappeared and no longer findable…. With me was also the said 5-year-old and the Rolls Royce… Ha b the parents pointed out that they should call your son back and inform: Foreign property is not harmed ….. Answer of the father: “Isn’t still a child, don’t have yourself like that…” Then I am really unbelieving in the salad…. How do you handle it? With slowly passing away the desire for meetings with foreign audiences….

Audi S2 – is this going to be a classic car?
Hello, I’m new here, which is due to the fact that I had nothing to do with vintage cars so far. I have a question to which there is certainly no clear answer. Therefore I am grateful for many opinions! I have a 16-year-old Audi S2. He is still very neat on the outside with his 130T Km and has parking fully equipped. But with a consumption of 14 liters and so some things that need to be directed (small rust spots, brakes, various Ele ktronik) and with the knowledge that the Turbo does not always work perfectly it is now time to say goodbye, since the child seat soon does not fit anymore … After I and my wife are very attached to the car, but I am not a “car screwdriver” now the question arises: is there a realistic hope that our car will become a “pleasant” old-timer in 14 years, which one can get at a reasonable cost? We have a TG parking space left, but I don’t even know how It is not about making a big profit in a few years, but whether there are possibilities to get and operate such a car as a classic car in a reasonable setting and to spend the effort of 14 years waiting time? Thank you for your opinion.
