moin moin! my scirocco will be 30 in two years and I would be very interested if he could get an h-mark. the condition is very good, no rust and not tinkered. he has a supersprint fan bender and a “hidden” music system in the original speaker openings. I could also imagine to install a sports suspension in the near future. but one with minimal depth (no more than 25/25), just to create a somewhat “satter driving behaviour” iden. thought of KW, H&R or Bilstein. are these changes already an exclusion criterion or is an H still possible? thank you!

How to remove rust?
Hello! I discovered the very first rust spot on my A4 today. It’s not very big, but the paint throws bubbles there. Now I’m unsure how to treat this spot best. Just clear paint over it so it’s sealed? Or remove the paint bubbles and repaint? I hope you have some tips in stock! Ciao

Polo 1 Year of construction 6/80
Hello together, yesterday got the opportunity to buy a Polo 1 year of construction 6/80. The vehicle has been registered since summer 99 in an underground car park has run 45,000 km, 50 hp engine, light green, first possession with SSD, first possession, original condition. Unfortunately I have not dealt with Polos so far. What do I have to pay attention to? Stand damage? How are the vehicles currently traded? Would like to leave the vehicle in its original condition. Thank you for your help already in advance.

there is an h-mark at tuning
good evening I am currently setting up a mexico beetle and decided to change some things a bit. I don’t want to tinker the car with modern mist and also not lose the h-mark. I have already telephoned with tüv examiners, these unfortunately went out of the way of a consultation or gave me only very superficial information. what can I change according to the latest regulations without losing the h? I would have been at discbre Msen at the front axle, old recaros in black leather, back bench in black leather, a black sky, kamei front spoiler, fox rims, us-backlights, actually nothing there was not in the 70s and 80s. it should just be tuned in line. is there an h or not?

Dodge Charger equipped with Scoop ?
Moin, I have a question, I drive a 73 Dodge Charger with a 340 ci V8, 241 HP. So you certainly know the whole “blown” Us Cars with a Scoop that stands through the bonnet. I want that now too, I have already talked to the Tüv and said that this would be possible to a certain extent by a special permission, so not a 2 meter tower that stands through the bonnet. The stupid is only I have no idea at all what changes are coming to me. or is the Scoop simply installed instead of the suction spider ? What height can they have maximum ? How does it work with the steering of the flaps ? Does anyone know about it, possibly already done ? What costs come to me ? So that everyone knows what is meant, it’s about something like in the picture Greeting Maexit

Barn Fund Property claim and authorisation (FORD)
Hello, I have an old Ford on my property. However, the car is not mine. About 20 years ago the parking space was rented. Since then the car is there. For about 5 years no more rental payments reach me. The address of the tenant is unknown to me, which makes it impossible for me to contact. A rental contract was only concluded verbally at the time. I can not get the data via the bank. Now my question: Is it correct that the car is legally valid I don’t have any vehicle papers or other documents. How can I become the rightful owner of the car? I’m looking forward to your help! 😉

New fraud from the USA ?
Hello 🙂 since I’m new here I would like to introduce myself briefly and introduce my plan… so my name is Nico am 30 years old, come from Saarland and am totally Mustang crazy 😉 which brings me to this forum…. and that’s that I’ve rummaged a little about cars.com and I bumped into my dream car a ’67 fastback with 351 W motor (5.7L). short hand I wrote to the seller (private) a mail and expressed my interest after a few hours I got also already answer. Supposedly she got the car after her decision and since she did not have a driver’s license she would want to sell it quickly and deposited the car in Omaha at the port to be able to ship it directly from there, however, she now no longer lives there….. her offer was now that I transferred the money to her pay pal account she then commissioned the shipping (drives about 6-7 days) and then I left the car on heart and nest here in front of place kö nnte if it wouldn’t suit me I could send it back at your expense. now my basic idea is that at pay pal I can hold back the money for 14 days and if something is wrong (in case of one amount) the money could then return to my account again… my question now, what do you think of it ???? many thanks in advance for your trouble 🙂

Are imported classic cars in demand?
Hello people! This is my first post in the forum so I want to introduce myself first. My name is Matan and I come from the Ruhr area. I am 34 years old. My hobby is classic cars. Less that repair and restore, but more that drive and enjoy. My father has a Ford Taunus Knudsen around which I like to take care of myself voluntarily. Even if I don’t own an old car at the moment I follow the market, go back and forth to old car meetings and inform myself regularly. I have got a good opportunity to buy cheap vintage cars in non-EU countries and import them to Germany. The vehicles are really in good condition, so no rust carts, but really well preserved or freshly restored vehicles. The cars would also come easily through the German TÜV and get a German H-approval. Import, customs etc. are no problem. For example, I am currently offered a restored BMW 2002 with 74 kW carburetor engine. to has new-related beige lede seats, completely resealed and painted, black color, no rust spots, new tires, new brakes. A really nice car (see photos). According to vintage car reviews, the car has a value of 10,000 EUR. I would sell it for 7,500 EUR and still make profit!!! On mobile.de comparable cars are offered between 8,000 and 12,000 EUR. But are these realistic prices? Is there any demand at all at these prices? So what I want to say, According to the expert’s opinion, this is one thing, but if I really get the car sold at the price is the other question. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the sale of vintage cars and can hardly assess how large the demand is. Who knows well about the sale of well-preserved vintage cars in the price range by 10,000 EUR and what do you say about the above example? I’ll consider whether this could be a nice side income.

H-mark
Hello I’m trying to make a rough calculation of whether it’s worth missing an H-mark for my 30-year-old Ford. If you look at the tax discount, the re-registration campaign + HU will not count on oldtimer acceptance until the carriage drives for another four years. So I’m trying to tickle out a discount on the insurance, which my insurance company answers: “No, no discount on us. They added that they don’t have any oldtimers versic It means that I have to look for a new insurance policy. Although some old-timer insurances are flatteringly cheap, all demand a valuation report, with a certain sum. Question: Does the main investigation of the old-timer acceptance also include a valuation report?
