Hello in the round, I have the org. angular Hella fog lights at my Commodore C, below the bumper… I had an e-cadett in front of the Commodore (was in the 90’s), because I had similar fog lights and directly next to it (inside), at its own height additional headlights in the same design. That was a clear plus of light on lonely country roads. Since I am still/again a lot in the dark, I would like to see a few additional distancelights at the Commodore as well. In the past, large round long-distance headlights, on the bumper, were used in front of the grill. Actually, I would prefer the variant with the square long-distance headlights hanging below, as a bit more subtle. Would that be a total break in style? What is your opinion on this?

Hello together, I wanted to hire my 123er at the farmer’s large dry hall until April. The car is dry there, but not warm. I don’t have electricity there. What do you think, should I put any dehumidifiers in the car until April? Do you have recommendations for this over the entire period of time? I can’t always get to the car. Thx and Greeting

Hello Oldi–Fans, I had my Oltimer evaluated by a Classic Data reviewer last week or is it still in work. It’s a short rating. Now I got in touch with my insurance company if they want/must have this rating. After all, the insurance doesn’t know at the moment about the condition or replacement value. In response I got the statement: “only in case of damage we need the rating…” I actually thought that the contributions increase if they know that the car has a five-digit value. What did you do?

Since I know that there are a few resourceful physicists and chemists here (e.g. Kester/Rotherbach), I’m sure you can take me on for centuries I actually wanted to put an electric dehumidifier in the garage so that the beetle always has a nice dryness. The dehumidifier works like the AC in the car, so that air flows over a cooled area, whereby the humidity condenses. This works quite splendidly in warm air, but under 5 degrees (plus) is dead pants, because that doesn’t work any more. Unfortunately, my garage has almost outside temperature, i.e. the 5 degrees and less are normal in winter. Now, of course, you can heat the temperature to 10 degrees and then run the dehumidifier at the same time. Cost a little bit at today’s electricity prices Has one better idea how to do it? Or is for example 2 degrees at 80% humidity not so bad for rusting, because at the temperature is rather small despite 80% of the amount of water in the air. 10,5 grams of water at only 13 degrees of humidity?
