  • New OPEL pickup from 201x ?

Moin User @Reinivann took some nice photos of Erlkönigen at the OPEL test site in Dudenhofen on 10/09/2016, see also his contribution: http://www.motor-talk.de/…/opel-testzentrum-prototypen-t5806695.html and others on picture 6 are covered HOLDEN Colorados, note picture background left (Holden “Löwe” on the tailgate)Holden Colorado Erlkönig The 2017 Colorado was recently introduced, with GM Duramax 2.8L R4 Diesel with 500Nm and 200 HP, 6-stage automatic or 6 -Gang hand switch, as right and left handlebar, built in Thailand. Source of images: 2017 HOLDEN Colorado press kit http://media.gm.com/…/0907_Colorado.html PS: Of course, international models are also being tested in Dudenhofen, which are not intended for Europe. However, this pickup could be quite attractive for OPEL & VAUXHALL. Since recent years almost every volume manufacturer in Europe has offered a “midsize” pickup, partly as badge engineering models: – Nissan, R enault, Daimler – Mitsubishi, Fiat – VW – Ford, (Mazda) – Toyota, (PSA ??) – Isuzu, Holden, (OPEL ??) What do you think ? The interior of the Facelift – Holden Colorado has been significantly upgraded. In addition, there is now a centrifugal force pendulum between motor and converter automatics, which will cause significantly less vibrations and early closing of the transducer bridge coupling. In addition, a first test of the 2017 HOLDEN Colorado: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOV5jUwY7uU

  • Trouble with the Nissan workshop

Dearest ones, 8 months ago, on February 9, 2006, I bought a used, 5-year-old Nissan Xtrail in France, where I also live, according to the dealer’s purchase agreement. The dealer gives 6 months warranty. At the beginning of August, the car did not run correctly and the engine symbol lit up on the dashboard. We called the workshop to have the damage repaired. That was August 6th. Only for August 9th, that is 1 day after the end of the race. we got a free appointment in the workshop. I have to say that we were not aware of the warranty process. The W-statt changed the spark plugs, Karre ran again a few days better, but not impeccable. About 1 month later: same problem. Car in the workshop, which changes ignition coil (or something similar…). Now we brought the car back to the workshop two weeks ago, with the old problem. Yesterday the Garagist said that a new engine for 12000 Euro would have to go in (haha!!). I would have let the engine get hurt, because I would not have refilled oil. That’s right. But: no oil ran out and it never lit the oil lamp. The W-instead thinks that the lamp must have worked perfectly (why that didn’t happen in the first two repairs and why the missing oil is then noticed in the third time after 2 weeks is creepy to me). -> too stupid that the whole story is going on in France. Re We are not quite clear about the situation. How do you think that? Even to blame? Unlucky for me? Or would the dealer have to sign up for the guarantee, since I had registered before the end of the year? Or can I only speculate on culantness? Didn’t I already buy a lazy egg, if after 6 months there is so little oil in the cart that it is to harm? Would be pleased about a few helpful and non-helpful opinions. 🙂

  • EU import – Qashqai Tekan 1.6L

Hello together, I’m just thinking of getting a Qashqai as an EU import. The car will probably be built for the Danish market. In discussion there is only the 1.6 L gasoline, the other one I don’t like for consumption. Now I’m thinking about whether it’s the 360° or the Tekna, there’s also the 1.6L machine in DK. (by the way: how is the Bose system). I’ve read at some point that there can be trouble with spare parts if the cars don’t exist in D. Is this the b I’m grateful for all the tips, because I’m still a little unsure…. Thank you, Tina.

  • GM and Magna agree at the Opel Poker FTD.de, 7:46 p.m.

FINACIAL TIMES GERMANY FTD.de, 7:46 pm GM and Magna agree in the Opel poker of Gregor Haake (Hamburg) and Timo Pache (Berlin) Long Opel had to shake, now the rescue is imminent: The car supplier has presented a new concept that probably convinced the Opel parent company. Both agree in principle – now the federal government is on the move. TO THE TOP Comment: Fiat – Thank you for your rejection (http://www.ftd.de/opinion/comment/:comment-Fiat-Many-D ank-f r-Ihre-Absage/520257.html) After meeting at the Chancellery: Magna and Fiat improve concepts according to (http://www.ftd.de/…/520159.html) Opel Poker at the Nobel Hotel: GM secretly talks to Magna (http://www.ftd.de/…/519635.html) Comment: Fiat – Thank you for your rejection (http://www.ftd.de/opinion/commentaries/:Comment-Fiat-Many-Thank-for-Your-Absage/520257.html) Agenda: A disastrous night shift (http://www.ftd.de/politik/germany/:Agenda-Eine-desastr se-Night shift/520154.html) Di For weeks now, Opel’s mother General Motors (GM), threatened by insolvency, and the policy for an investor’s entry into the German automaker, had struggled for weeks. In the meantime, it looked like there was hardly any hope. But at the last minute, a rescue from Opel still seems to succeed. There was a fundamental agreement between Magna and GM, said several people familiar with the situation of the news agency Reuters. “There is a cream. dpa also reported on government circles, Magna and GM had agreed. Also, the news agency AP from Detroit learned that there was an agreement. Because of the talks, a government meeting was postponed to Opel in the chancellor’s office. Government and representatives of the companies still discussed separately in the evening. According to information from economic minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg (CSU), Magna presented new ideas for He stressed that the outcome of the talks was open. He was not sure whether an agreement could be reached at the summit scheduled for Friday evening, however, Vice-Chancellor Frank-Walter Steinmeier urged a decision to be taken on Saturday night. “I am working to ensure that a solution could be reached tonight,” said the SPD politician. However, the situation was still difficult. “We need a resilient, sustainable result for the future,” he said. “I am and remain confident that a solution can be found if everyone is aware of this responsibility.” Magna on the finish line Magna is likely to have the best cards for joining Opel at the summit with Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU). Now the agreement still has to be approved by the federal government as guarantor for the necessary bridge financing. “There is little hope here, but no security yet,” said the Reuters circles. However, there is still a dispute with Washington about a trust model that should bridge the time from the expected GM insolvency to the investor’s entry. • we’re opel. But who will that be?

Now it is gradually becoming more concrete, how it goes on with opel. according to everything you hear/see/read, one gradually learns more about future concepts. according to Wirtschaftsminister gutenberg, there will be cuts in the workplaces in each case. as with other auto-farmers, because there are overcapacity. the talk is today of 30%, so it could almost every third job at opel fall away. no matter if magna gets in or fiat or signs up another solution. here the a rtikel mit gutenberg:http://www.faz.net/…/…48C292252D17293CD~ATpl~Ecommon~Scontent.html what do you think? what can opel do best? even the employees there? is it enough to build good cars again? or must more happen?

  • Unbelievable – VW vs Opel

It is possible to ask Opel and the question of state aid for the company as one wishes, but that Mr W. from WOB in the mirror should have said that the state of Opel should not help, the bottom of the barrel falls. That Lower Saxony, therefore the state, is involved in VW itself with around 20% and thus of course improves the ability of the company to lend to the competition and that VW Bank itself has applied for state guarantees of billions, since with the popular cars can be sold even cheaper, Mr. W. conceals. Unbelievable!!! I will never buy a VW again and also advise anyone I know from it! Such arrogance and disrespect deserves boycott all along the line. http://www.ftd.de/…/481170.html

  • Vauxhall collapsing?

Opel seems to be increasingly breaking away the most important sales market. While Vauxhall has already lost almost 20% of the registrations compared to 2016 over the whole year, in July now 42% (!!!) fewer vehicles were sold than in July 2017. This is of course a house number that shadows even the declines at that time in Russia and yet has something threatening to exist. After all, it is when we go through the full year 2017 from a minus of 75,000 vehicles in GB. In the UK Top 12 Vauxhall is the only manufacturer that loses significantly. Everyone else can increase or at least keep their sales figures on an annual basis. The press, British as well as German, hardly loses a word about it so far. Interestingly, the reasons for this are: – Is this the return carriage for the Feuerska ndal at the Zafira? – Brexit effects – but then why only Vauxhall? – Image loss due to the merger with Peugeot? (Peugeot also loses above average) VW and Audi with their exhaust gases are in any case hardly affected, Ford as also strongly located in GB manufacturer loses only 4% and is still the market leader.

  • Nissan Juke ( Experiences 1.5 Diesel/1.6 Petrol) Durability, consumption, highway??

Hello together, I play with the idea to buy a Nissan Juke. In the car dealership are of course all of the praises and “no problems” reported. Sure, want to sell their cars too. Now I want to ask you the following things… … I drive a lot of highway ( 90% ) is the diesel really the right choice ( if you see the purchase price, parts : DPF, Turbo ) in relation to the cheaper 1.6 er( 117 HP )? What does the 1.6er realistically consume at 120/1 40 km/h on the track ? ( at the 1.5 it should get so at 5,5 – 6,0, or ?) About the durability of the juke can not be reported yet, but surely about the engines and possible components that make up the difference petrol/diesel ? From the feeling I would tend in terms of durability/sensitivity rather to the petroler, but if this needs 8,X liters, this has done well. I would be happy about opinions…

  • Opel today, image and quality

Hi, I’d like to know how you appreciate the image and quality of Opel? Is the quality of the car up-to-date and competitive? I hear and read over and over again that Opel has many quirks, is that true? Why does Opel have/had a bad reputation? I think Opel still has a bad reputation for the last ten years. This OPC Race Camp was certainly a good idea to bring the brand back to mind. Can you buy an Opel Astra or Corsa without any worries if they buy an optically I had to buy a Honda Civic, but the new one is not yet available as a used car for little money, and secondly the next Honda dealer is a good 50 KM away from me. If you get problems with the car and you have to drive 50 KM to the contract workshop, the whole thing becomes annoying. Opel, on the other hand, gives me in the place and the Astra and the Corsa I actually like quite well. whether the prices are more expensive than the Japanese cars. ——————————————————————————— Is there an area here that is not brand specific? I wrote some time ago in this here *********(edited globalwalker), but this is the purest ghost city!!
