As not to be expected otherwise, if I announce it here, it is a Tesla Model S. Quotation: Doris Leuthard, head of the Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (UVEK), has a Model S.

Software Version 11 in Model S/X “Refresh”
If I haven’t counted myself, we’ll only have three of us here for the time being, but the model S/X refresh also deserves its own thread for the software. Especially after yesterday’s first update after sales start in Europe with the version 2023.2.0.5 has been released. Apparently there are actually significant differences to 3/Y. The first is the automatic two-stage steering wheel heater, which is currently not (yet?) available in the model S/X. If the sign recognition works as promised now in Germany, someone would have to test it there. In Austria, however, you can now access the interior camera, even if the dog fashion is not active. It only has to be active the Sentry. The camera apparently also filmes in the IR area, since you can clearly see the interior, even though the car is in the floor darker garage.

Carbon ceramic brakes suitable for me?
Hello, I drive a Model S Plaid with the original steel brakes. For a sporty driving style these are rather less suitable. Now Tesla Carbon offers ceramic brakes. I do not know however if these are suitable for me or I should rather have another (better) steel brake installed. I drive with my dogs almost daily into the forest. That means I drive daily about 500 meters gravel road and a piece of forest road. Would the brakes be suitable for such an area of use? The brakes of my M3 had often caught a little bit in the brakes. That would mean a total damage to the carbon ceramic discs immediately, right? I had no carbon ceramic brakes so far and hope for your experience/knowledge.

3. Brake lamp Model S – defective LEDs
Hello together I am currently seeing the more often model S with defective LED in the 3rd brake lamp (the LED bar). This has now made me put my wife in the car (and let the brake kick) and to look at myself (because you don’t notice it from the inside): I have three LEDs broken. Is of course purely aesthetic, because the third brake lamp is absolutely visible. But it looks sche**e. Have you seen it? How can it be that so many vehicles (that’s why I looked at myself) have problems with the LEDs? They were supposed to last forever! Has anyone ever been to SeC? I don’t even dare to call there… Jan

Model S Refresh/Plaid wiper blades
Hi, I need profound recommendation. I would have to change my wiper blades. Tesla has no stock (and is far too expensive). If I want to order from the relevant parts suppliers, I always get the wrong (Model S old series displayed). The suppliers can not help. There seems to be something generally wrong with the key assignment component to HSN/TSN. Sometimes the old and sometimes the new is displayed. But de facto it is always the old. Length and transducer si I would simply order by length, but then the transducers don’t fit quite. My question: Which wiper blades do I actually have to order? SWF, Valeo, Bosch wouldn’t matter to me. Thank you if someone could help.

10 years Tesla free refueling -> so Tesla free?
Hey together Now Tesla has set up a charging station near me. At home I unfortunately do not have the possibility to refuel. But now it is the case that I usually do around 1000 km a week. that means in 10 years it is 500tkm therefore with a consumption of 8 liters and an average price of 1.20 Euro. 48 000 Euro. But probably it is still more than 50000 Euro, because everything becomes more expensive. If I can now refuel for free at the petrol station of Tesla and there the Te The Tesla “gratis” would come to me after some time. I don’t think you can fill up all the time? What do you think? I also read -> in Holland (or maybe Denmark, I’m not quite sure where) once there was a taxi company with Teslas in the vehicle park. But they didn’t pay off. The maintenance should also tend towards zero at Tesla. Or where does the Tesla cost the big ones? Are there also prospects for a Teslakombi? E?

Model S P85D causes accident despite traffic-adaptive cruise control
Hellohttp://teslamag.de/news/model-s-p85d-accident-tempomat-3141 Reading the manual would certainly have helped: Here is an excerpt from the current manual (page 84): Operation of the automatic emergency braking If the Model S is equipped with autopilot (see About the autopilot on page 73), the lane in front of the Model S is monitored using the front-facing camera and the radar sensor. This allows the distance to any vehicle in front of the Model S, Mo The automatic emergency braking system is designed to automatically operate the brakes to dampen the impact in the event of an inevitable frontal collision. When the brakes are operated by the automatic emergency braking system, an optical warning appears on the instrument panel and you hear a signal tone. In addition, you may notice an abrupt downward movement of the brake pedal. As soon as the speed is reduced by 40 km/h (25 mph), the brakes will be released. If, for example, the brakes are operated by automatic emergency braking at a speed of 90 km/h (56 mph), they will be released once the speed is 50 km/h (31 mph). The automatic emergency braking only works at a speed of between 8 and 140 km/h.

TESLA S mileage / charging stations etc…
Hello & Good evening, someone from the group can answer the following questions, important for me: – Is the power supply also unproblematic in practice or only on the TESLA-site? I don’t mean bad, but in the brochure or on the site everything is so rosy – Is there someone who uses the vehicle intensively (yearly running power 60.000km or more)? Would have a little experience, since in case of purchase, I would like to use the vehicle intensively – For long-distance journeys (400km & more) on the day, how much more time should I plan (charge) – The charge on a normal 230 V socket – is it effective if it hangs 2 hours – In the configurator there is no option solar roof – there is no, would be an idea? Thank you very much for the constructive answers. Mr. NoLimit

Tesla Model X reaches over 25,700 reservations worldwide
Hello The Tesla Model X reaches more than 25,700 reservations worldwide. This means that if Tesla did not build any more Model S, it would take half a year to complete all pre-orders. The pre-orderers don’t even know what it costs. They don’t even know what extras there are.http://teslamag.de/…/…ht-world-wide-over-25-700-reservations-2835
