  • Load Mini Cooper SE 22kw AC

Unfortunately, the internet can’t really help me. With our Mini Cooper SE is a type 2 charging cable. On the cable is 11kw. So this should be a Mode 2 cable. Now I can’t find anywhere if the Mini can charge 22kw AC at all. When charging in the app, there is reduced performance, on the Mini homepage stands what of 11kw AC and in the instructions that when setting up maximum with Mode 3 32amper can be charged. In my opinion is 32A = 22kw. I’d like to buy a Mode 3 cable, and the Mini may only be able to charge 11kw. I don’t like to buy a Mode 3 cable, and the Mini can only charge 11kw.

  • Copper S from BJ 2021 – 131kW or 141 kW – conflicting information.

Hi together. Recently I bought my new Mini Cooper LCI 2 (01/24 built). As far as everything is good. A look into the papers: 141KW power. A look into the bmw system with input of the VIN (by a known): 141KW is 192hp power. According to BMW, however, the Mini LCI 2 should only have 178hp. What’s right now? 131KW is included in a BMW information sheet on the issue.

  • Hail damage at the end of the lease period

Moin. I have a car that I leased at BMW Bank through a car dealership and that I should leave at the beginning of August. I have taken out the insurance, which was recommended to me by Autohaus itself. Unfortunately, the hail hit the car strongly at the beginning of May, so that it got many dents. I informed the insurance company and the lessor about it promptly. In May I received the confirmation from BMW: “As owner of the damaged vehicle we declare ourselves with it If our lessee submits a receipted repair invoice, he may be paid directly to it. Prerequisite for this is the proper and professional repair.” However, the SV came only yesterday and has determined several dents. I should now count on his documents next week. According to the SV I can make an appointment with the car dealership immediately afterwards in order to eliminate the damage. Did I yesterday with 2 Autoha The first (not the contractor) said he was busy with the release and then I got an appointment. Currently the waiting time is 1 month. The second (the current contractor where I bought the car) said that I should wait after the release of the insurance first and then make an appointment with them. So it’s 7 weeks before the delivery of the vehicle. 1) What is the best thing I should do? I worry that if you have to contact me, you can contact me. the insurance, I will pay the whole amount myself, which I never get back in full (or even comparable) amount. Or that I get the release right before the delivery and the date is only possible after the delivery. How is this possible? Is it possible at the BMW Bank to get a technical extension of the contract by 1-2 months in order to eliminate the damage? The car dealership is unfortunately not helpful and I can only guess what possibilities for me 2) Can I interpret the answer from BMW in such a way that I can repair the damage not only with BMW, but also with the bulge doctor? I tried to find the similar problems here or on the Internet, unfortunately without success. I look forward to any useful advice, thank you!

  • Mini F56: What do you NOT like about your Mini?

I don’t like the following: too big for a mini wiper and washing system are an impact rear wiper does not turn on automatically when the front wiper is on and the reverse gear is inserted. If the rear wiper is on interval and the car is switched off and I leave the next day, the rear wiper switch is still on interval, but does not move repairs / inspections much too expensive !!! No inspection booklet bad paper-bed Ienungsanleitung Blinker does not rest a button in / at the middle tunnel during the ride difficult to operate

  • Everyday car?

Hi, I’m driving an E-Class and I’m annoying to find a parking lot. Think about switching to Mini Cabrio F series and want to know if there are people here who actually only use this one vehicle and drive all year round. We are 2 people, I commute to work every day 60 km overall. Holiday should also be possible. Be happy about assessments or experiences.

  • Cost starter battery change

Hello, a friend of mine needed a new battery after 7 years because the old one gave up her mind. He drove to the friendly one to exchange the old battery for a new one. He paid: 380,00 € Battery 140,00 € Wage 520,00 € Total net 99,00 € VAT 619,00 € Accounts. What did you pay for a battery change at a MINI / BMW specialist workshop? I recently had my F56 at BMW for a small inspection, on request I was told that there 1 AW 17,25 € incl. VAT costs, and one hour 12 AW has the full hour therefore costs 207 €, electrics and bodywork is even more expensive. What do you pay for an hour at BMW / Mini?

  • Steering may be crucifixion?

Hello, I would like to ask you a question about the steering of my wife’s F56 Cooper S. The fact that the steering feels really tight is not the problem. For a few weeks it has been extremely cruel when it comes to steering. The steering wheel jerks/vibrates quite strongly and actually without interruption. That doesn’t speak for the cross joint, which by the way had to be changed two years ago. At that time, the jerking was not continuous when it hit, but rather it was not possible for the cross joint to be changed. We already had the car on stage and there it was also extremely noticeable. Something about the tires would therefore be excluded. The mini ran about 70,000km, if that were important. Are there similar experiences? The entire steering including work certainly costs a rod. Hope not that this will be necessary. I thank you all already. Greeting Wallei

  • Farewell for Mini Sale

I say goodbye to this part of the forum, we have sold our mini today. We have come to the decision, because the car was almost no longer needed, since Corona and Home Office it became less and less. This year we have been driving from service in February to today entire 2,500 km with the mini. With the beginning of the cold season it would become even less thanks to the heater in the main vehicle. Both cars at the same time in use occurred almost never before, d the decision for sale. Conclusion: almost 20,000 km since 03/2020 trouble-free and enjoyable kilometers. According to today’s stand we get along with a car, if the need changes again we buy a 2nd car again. However, very certainly no mini, we do not like the new models at all… You continue to have fun and as carefree kilometers with the minis. Greeting hail damage

  • Water on and under the back bench – hiiilfeee

Moin people, when I admitted the car with my personal belongings today, I noticed that the entire back seat floats. The entire seat is so wet that you dripped during the removal. Also the insulation mat underneath. But also just the seat. The backrests seem to be dry. Sure… In the lower area you have absorbed the moisture a few cm. The footroom on the driver’s side in the rear is surface dry. Under the carpet, however, is also everything is wet here. Passenger side in the rear everything is dry. Also the trunk and all coverings is dry except on the metal. Only around the two ‘throughs’ in the floor sheet of the trunk, the rectified behind the backrests can be seen a minimal water wreath. The sky around the panoramic roof also looks dry. Do you have an idea for me where I could look? I am completely perplexed. My F56 did not have such problems.

  • Leasing used Cooper SE useful (Mini next with booking)

Hello together, I’m thinking about completing a private lease for a used Mini Cooper SE. EZ 04/2021 KM: Good 30t full equipment, costs at 42months and 5,000km close to 250€/month. It really requires so few KM, because second car and relatively short working distance. My questions: 1. Is this due to the age and the KM associated with greater risks from your point of view? At Abhabe the battery will be 7 years old. 2. Mini-next for 320€ for the first two years of meaning additionally to book or is there too much “excluded” anyway? Thank you
