Moin, occasionally our Mini Cooper R56 with the 120 HP engine is nailing at the cold start in the morning. Chain tensioner costs not 25€ and I wanted to change it. Especially with the Turbo there seems to be a lot of problems. I have found instructions so far only for the Turbo. Did today the air filter system with ours down and the hoses. I see the 27er screw. Only I can get no nut on it, let alone the one turned out. The throttle valve is in the way. If yes, what to consider when dismantling? Are these only the 2 Torx screws? Please short info. Thank you

Hey guys, my Cooper S was reassembled after chain damage and 2 Krummen valves. The engine is a Cooper S R56 with N14B16 machine. The engine is: – revised cylinder head (same part number as mine) – control chain set – oil + filter – spark plugs – and some seals – new battery The car does not want to start. If you press the clutch and then press the SSA button, everything lights up and goes out again. The starter has only 1.8 V But if you bridge the starter, it has the ideals of tension. We checked the fuses and the relays, but everything looked fine and was put right. I also can not get into the error memory with my INPA, because the file for Mini is missing in general and the other tool could not find anything. From above and below looked through, everything looked fine, so all cables etc. Has someone got a clue where to go. n could still look?

Hello mini-friends, my Cooper S, R56 has considerable start problems after service life of >5 hours (starts, runs like on 2-3 pötten, takes no gas and then dies off again). Only after 4-8 attempts it starts normal and then runs round. According to that is quite safe the gasoline high pressure pump 1351758889 is defective and at 120,000 km that would be expected too? Of course I have already read here in the forum and there seems to be a lot of problems with this part as well. Well, since I am at Bj 2007 I am looking for a low-cost working pump (i.e. < € 670) or a specialist company that can work these pumps up (should). Hello dear ones, my Mini One R56, year 2007 with 85,000km and 70kw/95ps worries me for a few days. I’ve had the car since August and it runs smoothly – only for a few days now it has the problem that the engine in idle sounds a bit funny, like a clacking / ticking / ticking, hard to describe. You can hear the sound even if no other car is standing next to, in front of or behind you, like e.g. at a traffic light and when the window is open. From the inside the engine sounds good, you have to listen very carefully and the sound can only be heard when the car is standing. During the ride or when you give gas the engine sounds inconspicuous and as you expect it, the car also has no abnormalities in the driving behaviour. No jerking, no power loss, everything as usual.. I then checked the oil level and that was frighteningly low, so that I had to pour back 1-1,5l, now everything is back in order. The last time was 4-5 weeks ago and there was the oil level in order.. To my driving behaviour: I drive as a commuter daily 2x 30km, 80% highway and occasionally times in the evening or on weekends sometimes also short distances for shopping etc.. I drive the car occasionally times a bit more sporty but all in all I do not really kick it but rather relax. I have a little bit more relaxed on Tuesday. Hello to each other We drive an 8 year old Mini R60 with 1.6 engine from the house PSA – this one has been in emergency run for a time and jerks while driving! Engine lamp lights constantly. We would have had the light from time to time and it also went over but that is not anymore. Was also with BMW which also took care of him checkbook but with a diagnosis the friendly everything was in order – error memory deleted lamp was gone but the problem came back. Z Ündkerzen are new now but that brought so far nothing! If it were the Lambda probe that would be in the diagnosis or?! After a long drive the emergency run goes out again and full power is given however then under pressure the sporadic stuttering comes back! Have already added a petrol system cleaning of Liqui Moly and tank now also some better petrol. Do you have hints or tips?! Thank you in advance!
