  • Big difference One to Cooper R56?

We will probably decide in October for a used MINI R56, but is not yet sure if it will be a One with 95hp or a Cooper with 120hp. The main area of use is urban area (journey to work, shopping); sometimes there is long distance to 300km one-way, and a holiday trip to Italy should also go out. Or on. Well, the One has 25hp less, but is the difference so serious? According to various reports on the Internet, you don’t feel so much like this. Well, that’s why I’m asking you here.

  • Power loss Mini Cooper S, R53

Power loss Mini Cooper S, R53 Hello Mini Freaks, maybe one can help me. My Mini Cooper S, EZL 2004, Type R53, mileage 130000km has been suffering from power loss for some time now. Symptom: At the beginning this was not felt on the road, only on the highway the TopSpeed reached 200km/h. Now you can feel it on the road as well. The engine is not willing, is not well on the gas, jerks when accelerating. If the engine is still in the cold running phase, f This feels much better. The engine then works almost as before. Works performed: Inspection (air filter, candles, oil) Error memory: No information. Reset Boardelectronik. Due to the phenomenon that the mini runs in the cold running phase, the petrol pressure was tested. In stand 3.4bar and with full gas 6000U/min 4.6bar. In the Mini Service Manual stands for in stand 3.5bar +-0.2bar. I think the petrol pressure is OK. If you could give me a few tips, I would be very pleased. Or You know a well-versed mini screwdriver room Osnabrück Münster. From my experience you can’t get there with every BMW workshop.

  • My Cooper One with 90hp is pretty sluggish???

Hello together. I have now changed from several VW and Audi to the Mini One. Thought the 1.6 16V with 90 hp would pull well but think. One has now driven Polo GTI a lot or the 1.6 8V 75 hp or 1.4 16V with 101 hp and they all ran around classes better. Mine was driven by an azubin. I think always undertouring. He runs with quite, much effort 170km/h. I have now renewed spark plugs, the air filter was thrown out because everything looked like first set. ffener K&N in it to test if it gets better. Pustekuchen. Even in the appearance he is in it with over 180km/h. So what can it be? AGA tight? He has now 120tkm down. Thanks for the help

  • Mini Countryman SD 4 ALL Aut. Consumption

Hello I have a question to all Countryman SD 4 ALL Aut. Drivers. How much is your average consumption? We have a countryman bought in 2014. Currently 15tkm are driven, but the consumption is not less but more. My wife drives approx. daily 90km work path. of which are approx. 80km highway, 6km highway and 4km city. It does not rest, on the motorway cruise at 130-140kmH. The average consumption is 8.7l diesel. t from the indicated average consumption of 5,9-6,1 far. Of course we also criticized it several times in the car dealership. BMW then arranged a consumption test, which the ATH also carried out. Test was driven without light, without ventilation and radio etc. (probably with 50kmh) According to ATH the vehicle moves within the specified framework At the moment we also don’t know what else to do about it, except to use the local transport. The Mini Clubman we had before was driven with 5.2l diesel.

  • Light sensor does not work after disc replacement

Hello together, after a disc change at ATU (due to workshop binding) at the R57 the rain sensor was no longer working. This had to be reactivated, which cost me some additional workshop visits at ATU and Mini. Now I have noticed that the light sensor does not work either. Didn’t notice me in winter, because I generally drive with light. ATU does not seem to get the error solved. Before I now drive to Mini again and if necessary sit at the cost bl iebe, here is the question whether someone knows how to activate the light sensor again. In the on-board computer, by the way, “day running light” is disabled.

  • Buying advice to Mini Countryman

Hi, I’m looking for a countryman for my wife. Since I didn’t drive a mini or have a big idea of this, I’m asking here for tips on what to take and what better not. At the online exchanges and the mini homepage I looked around a little and looked out the following criteria: – Mini Countryman Cooper (122hp petrol) – black metallic – seat heating – Xenon – PDC rear – sliding roof – from EZ 11/2014 (same facelift ???) – up to 20,000 km run – sports seats – 18″ Turbo Fan Rims optional: – Navi – leather seats or partial leather seats from private there is probably not at all in the equipment, mostly all former rental vehicles. What should you take, what better not? Where should you pay attention to the former rental vehicle at the mini?

  • Short purchase advice – Mini Cooper S

Hello together, for my girlfriend a Mini Cooper S due to the price limit of about 10 – 12T€ and not too much km, it must be a R56 with 174PS. I have read through some forums and unfortunately read again and again that the 174PS engine should not be so great. Now I have the opportunity to come to one of the first Cooper S with 174PS EZ was in early 2007. The vehicle is apparently from first hand and has quite good equipment – Hifi system, Panoramic adach, partial leather, chilli package, seat heating and still a little snappy. Vehicle has almost 79 TKM and is first-hand. Checkbook-kept – brakes, air-conditioning evaporators and chain tensioners were changed only recently (chain tensioner already for the second time at BMW). What do you think you can pay for the vehicle 10 T€ and have the feeling that you had a good offer and a normally good car. Nobody is inside but for me the question arises, if the Engine series up to 120 Tkm is recommended or rather less… Vehicle had no chip tuning and was rather leisurely driven by a woman – so the theory :-). For me the following questions arise: – Is the 174hp so much worse than the 184ps – so in terms of stability – Is the purchase price good or does the vehicle bring in three four years with 120TKM still 6-7T€? current DAT is about 6500… – Would it be better to save a little and then a Mini JCW to the engines are supposed to be a little better.. If our first mini and liked it I also do wg. of the Go-Kart-Feeling… Would be grateful for one opinion or another.

  • Purchase advice.Mini Cooper

Hi Community, I’m currently looking for a Mini Cooper. Would be my first car. Found now also one that I like. However, the good vehicle has 3 crack points: 1.He had a wild damage. Front apron was changed, bonnet painted. Does the car count as an accident car? 2. Has left, right, back each a scratch of about 5 cm. Does a paint pencil help there? The paint is brown shiny. 3. The car was during inspection, but the stamps were not attached. The mini checkbook is empty. However, the dealer would give the car to a BMW branch office for inspection and registration. How important is it that it is registered continuously? Is not the last entry in the checkbook relevant and proves that everything is correct? Key data from the car: Bj 07/2011 Mini Cooper 122Ps 42t km mileage Price 12,000 Incl. guarantee (Intec All-in-one Premium) / BMW inspection Is this what or should I prefer the Fin Don’t do it? Cheers

  • Shortly before purchase : Countryman SD

Hello everybody, stand very close to the purchase of a new Countryman SD automatic. TwoThree questions I would have still there … maybe you can and might help. – The radio will be the “visual”. What equipment do I have to choose at least, so that I can connect a normal “USB stick” with MP3s ? – I would like to have the single seats in the back and then the long centerrail – in the configurator I can not get that! Is there a certain equipment variant (JCW ???) with it I get the single seats in the back ? – The HarmanKardon sound system. Is there actually a subwoofer integrated ? I found here in the forum unfortunately no information about it. Unfortunately I can not ask the friendly mini salesman, the whole is a little “wrong”. Therefore would be great if I could clarify this here. Thanks ! JNR

  • ex-mini buy?

I have just seen that my ex-clubman is for sale… even if there are some errors in the display and the price has been set too high, I am thinking of whether I should look at it… background history to the mini: I ordered the mini and after 2.5 years exchanged with motor problems for a 12od cabrio… now he has over 13o.oo km…so the question arises whether the motor is through or for me alone as a fun and second car still makes sense. Do you think…?
