  • Mini Cooper Countryman (136 hp), driving report

    Hello, I’ve been at Motor Talk for a long time but for the first time at Mini. Good day. We think to buy a new Countryman and have therefore made today a test drive with a Cooper with manual transmission. Are already older and the higher sitting position suits us very much. In short, my expectations have been exceeded. Very good handling with front drive. There were 17″ rims with 225 tires mounted, very good road position, nevertheless quite comfortable, had a tight driving But I am used to BMW driver and tight suspension. The automatic air conditioning system is efficient, the parking beepers with display on the display were very loud, but can be quieter. The sports seats are good and should definitely be clean according to the seller. The 3-cylinder engine is surprisingly quiet and gets louder only from 4000 rpm, so I was very positively surprised. The 136 hp are enough for us, mainly short distance and only sometimes longer. But if it is then around the outside arbe goes, it gets tight, for us actually only the standing color moonwalk grey with black roof remains. Red only looks good with the smaller minis, the countryman does not stand in our opinion. So in my opinion too few colors to choose from. Thanks for reading. ciao olderich

    Hello together! I have various questions about Mini Connected and the multimedia menu in the mini itself. Once I did the update of the Mini Connected app on the iPhone a few days ago. I always connect the iPhone to the Y cable. Since the update the Minimalism analyzer no longer works and the new Mission Control is not working either. I always get the message that this only works perfectly via the Snap-In adapter. Now I have today with my BMW-Hän I tried all available adapters, which are available for my iPhone 3gs. In the whole of two pieces. In both cases Mini Connected doesn’t work at all – I couldn’t hear music from the iPhone anyway, because no sound comes over the adapters. With the white cable from Apple the sound doesn’t work either and Mini Connected also brings the message with the Snap In. Well … what to do?     Dear Mini Friends, I have a problem with my R56 Mini One EZ 2014. He has run the 98 Ps machine and has run 27000 km. For a few months at the cold start a metallic sound appears like a nailing. If the engine is warm nothing to hear… I immediately made myself smart and drove to BMW! 3 times I was already there and there was nothing found!   • iPhone5 plugin without function

    Hello together, after I finally got my Ligthning Adapter for my iPhone 5 yesterday, I was full of anticipation that I can now finally use the connected plugin (via Y-cable) from my Mini. Unfortunately this only works partially. The apps “Driving Excitement” etc. work… but the PlugIn can not start so I have no access to the playlist with Coverflow etc. I always get the error message “No plugin capable device” and the “Self-diagnosis tool” doesn’t bring me any further Do you have the same problem?     hi, my mini doesn’t work the splash water back since last winter.
