  • 33 % profit from turnover

” Porsche seems to outperform its record profit of 2.1 billion euros in this financial year. This is what Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking said before the Annual General Meeting of the company on Tuesday. Sales advanced to 5.98 billion euros from 5.96 billion euros a year ago. ” This means 33% return on sales before tax or in plain language, a Carrera is worth only 60,000 instead of 90,000 So sorry… there the fun stops …. 5 – 10 % would be acceptable.

  • When does Facelift arrive for the 997

Hello, I’m wearing the idea of buying a new 997 S4. Now there are some pictures and rumors about a facelift on the current 997. Since I don’t want to buy an old model because of a few weeks or months, I ask if anyone knows when the new one should appear with facelift and if more changes besides the optics? Thank you Alfred

  • MT meeting at the GLP Nordschleife on 30.06.

Hello boy, after I have just called two important forum members (hallo Jens, hello Timo ) I would have put on a proposal. We 3 will probably open the Nürburgring on 30.06. and also participate in the GLP. Here’s the long way!! At the same time I will try to persuade my wife to spend a weekend with me up there. Now my question: Who of the forum members who I highly esteem here likes our small informal tr I would be happy if some of you would have the time and desire to join us! Greetings and a guate night P.S.: Since I might not be able to convince Sandra to join the GLP, I am writing the passenger seat publicly!! A driver change after 6 laps not excluded. Konni

  • OT: Radical infected?

@Konni Hi Konni, hope you have the latest edition of sport car in front of you and read what I have just read. Under the heading “Readerbriefe”, p.69, the sport auto editors are pointed out twice that the Radical SR8 does not have the meaning that he would have earned due to his performance card (among others 6.55/NS). Under “Sudden” and “Unbelievable” is said what there is to say. Honestly, I would already have fear in “little” …. Have fun with your new And congratulations on this choice! Greetings Alfan, who finds such a vehicle quite radical …

  • Used 964 / 993 Nordschleife suitable?

Hello, I’m just thinking of buying a used 964 or 933 Carrera 4. It’s supposed to be a pure fun car, with which I will drive a maximum of 5.-8,000 km a year. But about 40% of this Nordschleife. Does a 964 or 993 with a mileage of approx. 100,000-130.000 km still last? Or can I plan an AT engine and gearbox with it? I’d be grateful for reviews, tips and opinions And what type would you advise me to do, 964 od he 993?

  • Do all Porsches scatter down??

If you look at the measured values at the RRI (=Rototest Research Institute), then you have to find out that especially the models of Porsche are far below the factory specifications for power and torque. Examples: Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cab: 259 instead of 300 hp Porsche 911 GT3: 330 instead of 360 hp Porsche 911 Tiptronic S: 232 instead of 286 hp ! Porsche Boxster Tiptronic 2.5: 169 instead of 204 hp Porsche 911 Turbo: 388 stat t 420 hp Porsche Boxster S 3.2: 254 instead of 280 hp Porsche Cayman S Tiptronic: 259 instead of 295 hp Most cars also move within the 10% tolerance of the RRI, most Porsches are clearly outside this range. How can this be, when Porsche is always talking about minimum specifications?

  • Start problems with the 930 (911 Turbo 3.3 300 hp) from 1987

Hello together, I have a little problem with which you might be able to help me: If my 911 Turbo (from 1987 with 150,000km) is over the winter for a few months it starts right after the first start attempt after hardly a few turns. If it is warm and only a few minutes out, it starts again immediately. But if it stands more than 30 minutes (1, 2, 3… etc. hours or days) up to one week!, then it always takes a long time to jump on and even a nige powerful accelerator pressures to run around. But if it is then again longer than a week, it starts immediately again. Complete engine service was made with spark plugs and everything drumm and ramm What can that be? Sunny he runs very well and round. I hope someone already had the problem and found the cause of the problem. Many thanks in advance and friendly greetings Joeri (that’s what “Juri” says)

  • Porsche Cayman 981 GTS or BMW M4

Hello, I’m new here, so I’m taking the opportunity to introduce myself here. I live in the tranquil Bavarian Forest near the Czech border near Bodenmais maybe there is one or the other. I’m 24 years old and I’m currently driving an Audi A3 3.2l with around 250hp. After a long swing I finally decided to buy a new car and swarmed very strongly between a BMW M4 or a Porsche 981 GTS. I would like to hear your opinion about this we see you the whole thing maybe the one or the other one drives one of the two cars. I would rather tend to the Porsche 981 but there are two things that still distance me a bit from one the social compatibility in the city would be no problem but with me in the village I think such a Porsche is already more noticeable than an M4 to the second then possibly still that too little performance is available. Don’t understand me falsely of course, the GTS has more than enough power in every respect since I have already driven an M4 with 550hp but my expectations are very high. I mean clearly can not keep up with the GTS from passing through but it should nevertheless have proper power or acceleration power. Unfortunately I can not test GTS because the next over 300km would stand away. Does someone have a reference e.g. between both cars in terms of acceleration itself or is it equal to The advantages of the Porsche – Porsche feeling – sound due to the 3.4l suction cup – savings in insurance – consumption – driving behaviour – value stability Disadvantages – price – social compatibility – space BMW M4 – performance – tuning options – Desing – price – inconspicuous compared to the Porsche Disadvantages – consumption – insurance – loss of value – driving behaviour compared to the Porsche

  • Boxter purchase soon please for your advice

Hello people since I’m about to buy a boxer I would like to ask for your advice. It’s supposed to be a second car, just to enjoy driving. I used to have z3 but now I want to be a Porsche. I don’t want to spend a lot of money like that in about 14000. Do I get a decent car? What are the typical flaws? What should you look at? How much KM can you have, I’ve often read about engine damage………… So your answers are very he wishes. Greetings Mathias

  • 997 does not start ….-.-

Hello! My Porsche 997 (3,6l) from Bj. 2005 does not start any more. The car stood about 1 week with activated alarm system in the underground garage. When I then wanted to drive home he didn’t jump on. He was so empty that he didn’t even want to open the trunk where the battery is sitting at the beginning. I then started him through bridged on the weekend and drove about 15 km to the industrial area. Actually the battery would have had to charge itself in the time already so far that a new start kei I drove home and charged the battery with a battery charger for more than 8 hours. until now^^^but it still doesn’t start…. ́. The funny thing is that when starting it only makes crack again and again. Then it flashes at the same time. Now my question is: Did someone have a similar problem? is the battery broken (–> battery 3 years old) ? o the vill any relay or backup or something? Quick answers would be very happy 😉 and thank you in advance! Lg Daniel
