Moin! I need your competent help. I want to buy a Porsche Cabriolet for the first time in my life. Since the small change only lasts up to 25.000€, it will probably be a 996. About equipment is important to me: 320hp, i.e. from year 11/2001, sporty optics (sports suspension etc), switch, as little km as possible (since I would sell the vehicle again in case of emergencies without great value loss) I have a few questions: 1.) What do I have to pay attention to? 2.) At Mobile, Autoscout, ebay, I don’t find the right vehicle yet, are there other sources for Porsche? 3.) I have a Porsche at my hand, which would fit, however, the vehicle was 9 years in Italy, but built in D. Is this problematic for the potential resale? About a helpful answer I would be very pleased Many greetings, Holger

Boxster buys, only which one????
Hello, I would like now that I have done my Bachelor in Automotive Engineering something and put a small fine boxster nonS/S into the garage. He becomes my 2/3 vehicle, owns a Volvo S60 bj. 02 as a everyday car and my first car a Golf 3 bj.99 in top maintained condition as “hobby/leisure car” Back to the Porsche, for me the car should also become a hobby car, and only occasionally on weekends be moved. Now I face the question nons or S, bj is for me clear from 2009! He has to have leather and I want to have the Sportaga as well Is the nonS really so “bad” in contrast to the S, or for me as ref. the TTs with 272Ps? Running performance I actually want to stay below 80tkm, coal technically it should so settle around the 30k. Thanks for your tips already in advance. Greetings Viper

911 (991) prices
Hello guys, I’m a little surprised that three-year-old 991 with about 10000 km are offered at mobile for around 80000. Is that realistic? In the 997 the prices for comparable vehicles were in the 60000 at the time. I also tried to get a residual value calculator. The calculated with 57000 ek and about 65000 vk from private. Are the 80000 moon prices?

Purchase advice Porsche Boxster S
Hello Forum, I would like to buy a Boxster S and have found a well preserved vehicle. Would I be very pleased about your feedback/evaluation: Boxster S EZ 11/1999 Kilometer 176000 10 years in first hand, then payment by dealer and then another owner Visually very good condition for the age cover tip top Interior very well maintained Check booklet up to 160.000 at PZ have all liquids changed before 2000 km, new brake blocks and new tires The F The climate does not cool and after the test drive the vehicle has “expressed water” wherever (estimated balance tank) it is supposed to be normal, because the S has overpressure valves, which after the vehicle has been warmed up, pushes out excess water…(no idea if that’s true) Price: 14000 What do you think? Thank you!

VW is allegedly considering stamping Cayenne and Panamera
There is probably a new ignition: after an additional baby-cayenne and a 2-door 928-successor was speculated last week, it is now rumored that VW wants to return the Porsche brand back to the pure basic values, i.e. to be traced back to pure sports carism. Argument: SUVs and sporty saloons have already been enough in the VW Group. The Cayenne and Panamera could therefore be introduced in the medium term or after the end of the model cycle in 7 years. Sources:http://www.autoobserver.com/…/…models-axed-in-vw-takeover.html?…http://www.motorauthority.com/…/…-to-kill-porsche-panamera-cayenne Personally, I have my doubts, because at least the Cayenne throws a lot of profit. However, I’m curious about what’s going on. The reaction of VW won’t be long to wait, as this message already spreads rapidly on the net.

Opinion on this Cayman S
http://suchen.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… I’ve been looking for a suitable Cayman S for a long time and have just discovered it. What do you think of this Cayman? – can you buy a Porsche without a Navi? – how important is the PASM? – the color dark-olive is no longer in the program. A sign of demand?! – how does light grey look like? On the photos it looks rather “unspectacular” to boring – does the price fit? What extra would you want to do without? VG, Elloco

my tiptronic makes problems,hiiilfeeeeeeee
somehow nobody can help!!!!!!!!!!! but this clear symptom would have to say something to a cross-brand specialist here ??!! with my 996 I have for a long time now an increasingly noticeable speed change. with the normal acceleration you notice a slight pulsation in the thrust. then you drive for example constant 50 or another speed the speed varies always rhythmically by 200 upwards and again downwards. also clearly on the motor sound tubeable. over hundred does not occur at all and even at full speed it works without problems. what can trigger such a thing when automating ????

Purchase 996 concerns about engine damage
Hello, I am currently driving a 964 cabrio and would like to switch to a 996 in the next few months. My Probelm is that I read about ATMs very often at 996. My question: Why do so many engines break in the 996? What does an ATM cost? I asked the PZ once. They said that Porsche has no Probelms with the engines. What else do I have to pay attention to at the 996 purchase? BJ changes, etc. With my 964 the only thing that could lead to an engine damage, except ke in ÖL, a broken distributor. So thanks already for the help. Greetings Markus

Read a few days ago in USA Today: Purchase price 997 Turbo Convertible in the USA $149,700! Equivalent to about 100,000 € at the current exchange rate. Are we here in D massively ripped off or what??!

Aston Martin Rapide
The Erlkönig pictures show how sporty and at the same time elegant a 4 doory sports car can look. If the car is about at the level of the Panamera, I would prefer it to the Porsche in any case. http://www.caradvice.com.au/…/aston-martin-rapide-004.jpghttp://blog.niot.net/…/…shots-aston-martin-rapide-in-the-round.jpg Markus
