  • Small inspection made today ;-D

Hello all, today the small inspection was with me at 90,000 km. I calculated with such 500-600 EUR. The users here meant on average so 300-400. Since I created a little buffer again mentally. The big back then in Zuffenhausen cost 1,300 EUR, was without a replacement car and with 6 new ignition coils at the price of approx. 300 EUR. This time I was at the PZ airport, and see what the small cost me. PS: Don’t get me wrong. I know old painful topic. And NO, it doesn’t make me poor. And yet I find it interesting to take the bills apart, but see for yourself: 😀 PS: I had oil with me! That means it would have been about 200 EUR more expensive…

  • Porsche 911 991 brakes

Hello, I have been driving a 991 2s for 1 year. I finished a weekend with the car at the PSDS in Baden Baden am Airpark so well. A few weeks later I fell on the brakes more and more. I thought nothing about it at about 8000 km. The whole thing became worse and worse over the winter and my workshop just didn’t say bad hard braking that goes away. 2 months ago I noticed that the steel disc starts to tear at the holes. I then exchanged everything and asked Porsche to pay for it. Unfortunately, this was not done with the reason IS a cover part and by improper cooling my problem. I am in fact not Walter R. But guided driving with the PSDS should prevent this. Have you had similarly disappointing experiences? One of the pores asked the workshop for expansion and control. sche mechanic explained to me that the 340 steel brake is not for the courses and race track is true? Wasn’t it from the road to the race track earlier that’s Porsche? Best regards and thanks for your experience DK

  • Test drive in the PZ despite young age?

Hi!! Would like to say in advance, please give me when answered a proper answer and not any comentars that no one needs, thank you in advance, write this because I have been in many forums so far… There always came something like from Papa and so…. Yes I am 21…. have made my Abi, immediately afterwards a bank teaching… So now to my concern. Have seen a Porsche Boxster on the road again today ( about Bj 07 ), also a young man at the wheel like I. Now my question if I to my PZ in Leipzig Drive and I am interested in a car, the possibility of a test drive despite my *young age*??? Where I have burdened myself with my Bmw, it went without *older person* so the test drive etc. because it is in the endfect for ME and not for anyone else… Thank you in advance. I thought I’d rather ask here before blaming myself in the PZ. Dear Greetings Marcus

  • If so, which one…??

Hello parishioners, I would like to ask you a question, I drive a BMW Z3 M-Roadster, first series 321 hp, without driving aids such as Antidrift, Antidrive ….how you are not all called. Driving performance and suspension ok so far. Runs as a third vehicle max 3000 km/J, however, it is a little too good for me, it goes well, but could be a little bitchier for a roadster. Since I have always loved with a boxer when buying the M-Roadster now my question: Can the “no” rmale” Boxter from the performance to the Z3 the water, or offer him paroli, which conveys some more driving fun? Or, if you want something more sporty, one would have to switch to the 911, and if, then which model? Greeting Ps.: Should I really invent then no more than 30.T-Euro

  • Maintenance and purchase advice Cayenne

Hello together I’ve been driving an Audi S4 4.2 V8 Avant for some time now, so I’m used to the “pharmacist prices” around the car. Now I’m looking a little towards Porsche Cayenne, because there are the used at reasonable prices. Now my basic question. I can afford the 2 Audis more or less easily, maintenance etc. are no problem. Is that different with a Cayenne? Porsche was for me always on a level with Lamborghini, if you don’t have 200k€ in the Yes It’s best not to think about it for you. Is that so? I’m really satisfied with my Audi, but it’s a bit small for me. So I’m just looking around. But somehow I’m afraid of the costs. Right? Also: What to look for when buying a Cayenne? Known weaknesses? Buy S or Turbo?

  • Porsche Carrera 3.2 – G50 transmission

Hello, have a 88′ Carrera 3.2 with G50 gearbox, with which I have recently remained lying down. Only 2 gears can be switched, the 3rd and the 4th still the gearbox is not disassembled, so that I is not yet fully aware of the extent of the damage. However, the gearbox has run 252 tsd. Km and I fear bad things. Every serious mechanic has told me so far that there will certainly be nothing to do under 3,000 EURO. Are there used G50 gears? Greetings, Clemens.

  • Problems with alarm system at 87 Cabrio

For some time now, the alarm system has become sharp at the start of my friend’s 87’s 3,2L convertible. So, when you open the vehicle, everything remains quiet, only when the engine is running does the alarms sound. Also various attempts with the second key, the “alarm key” failed; the alarm system simply cannot be deactivated!!! Unfortunately, even a local Porsche screwdriver was not able to handle the situation… Now I would like to know if and how the possibility existed, d the alarm system is not so problematic if the alarm system does not work, since the vehicle is part of a large collection and idR is not moved in the road anyway, therefore it is not allowed (so the owner’s opinion). I have a schematic also available, would only like to know where the alarm switch and the alarm horn are in the vehicle, according to the plan they belong to ground point 2, so would have to be somewhere at the r driver side are located in the area of the front fender. I would be very happy about helpful and relevant tips and information, also via PN!

  • Porsche 997, Targa or Coupe with sliding roof

Hello to each other, I would have a question for you and hope for some meaningful answers. I am about to sell my wife’s 987 boxster (I have also set it here with pictures), and to exchange it for a 997. Now I am a bit unwise, my favorite is actually a targa for a long time, because in my opinion, because the car should be used sometimes in bad weather, a good mix of I’m not sure if this is the way to get over with the open drive at the Targa or if I’d rather take a 4S coupé with a sliding roof. From the price either a Targa 4 or a Coupé 4S would be in question. Targa 4S are still quite expensive. To the info: In both cases it will probably run out of a model in front of FL. Of course I would prefer an FL model, but let’s see what the market, also in price soon so gives. My PZ has At the moment no Targa available otherwise I would have already taken my own picture. Furthermore, I am not sure whether the Targa roof is so optimal with regard to the development of noise in cold or heat (snarling noises or similar) or also the heating up in the summer by the large glass surface. Or do you think that a 4S is definitely the better choice, about the engine etc., or even a Targa because it is much rarer? D.H either the more sporty(4S) or the more diverse(Targa)!? I don’t have time to buy it. I have set myself as a period of time for the next 6 months. I will see how I get rid of the boxster or if I give it in payment. Furthermore, I could imagine that the 997 prices will fall a bit soon, as soon the 991 will come out. Questions about questions, would be happy about a few answers/tips. Thank you in advance and greeting from the beautiful Frankenland

  • Purchase advice Porsche 911 997 Turbo Cabrio VFL

Hello, I would like to introduce myself briefly – I am the Edmund from NRW and in the middle of 40. I would like to treat myself to something and was/am looking for a special car. Porsche stands for quality and reliability, therefore it should be a 997 Turbo. On the search for a 997 Turbo Cabrio I encountered a dealer’s insert and a purchase will possibly be concrete next Saturday. Porsche 997 Turbo Cabrio 2007, 2.Hd, 79tkm, almost 70TE, accident-free (front and both mudguards after The dealer makes TÜV and inspection before delivery new, Remusauspuff installed (original exhaust is included). Question, can one determine a previous performance increase? My thoughts Sport Auspuff and possibly from the previous owner Performance increase by software what I don’t want since the car is to be restored to the original condition. Should I still show the car at the PZ? Although the car has warranty, j However, the dealer would be about 650km away near Lake Constance from me and I can’t go there every time. Is there something I have to pay attention to in any case? Vehicle ran mainly in Switzerland. I could set the link but do not know if it is allowed here. I look forward to your tips and experiences Greetings from NRW – Edmund
