Good morning together, I would have a question: my iPhone X automatically connects to the PCM when starting the 991.2 via BT; i.e. I can call up my phone contacts via the PCM and also dial them. Since I also use my iPhone as iPot, I was able to play my music via BT until two weeks ago, if I go to the PCM on media. For about two weeks this is no longer possible, under Media only the “Jukebox” is displayed (which is empty) and my iPhone is not recognized under Media. t. Also the direct playback of the audio files from the IPhone for no transfer to the PCM. You can see on the iPhone that the music is played, but the speakers remain silent. Do I still have to set something somewhere? Does anyone have an idea? I can rule out errors on the iPhone, because with my other vehicle the playback works quite normal via BT. Greetings knolfi

Too much oil?
Hello, I was called with my Macan Diesel S (11.2016) to the oil service, at almost 76,000km. Now the friendly person would like to calculate me 8 liters of the precious wet, although according to the operating instructions only 6.4 liters are provided with oil change with filter. The 8 liters are probably only with the dry filling. Has now been calculated to me or there is a plausible explanation for this. I do not want to be petty, but also do not want to pay more than is justified. word from the PZ-Servicemann I’ve been waiting for 1 week. Greetings

Exhaust, boxster… not outstanding.
Hi guys, unfortunately I didn’t find anything suitable and if so, the topic is already super outdated. That’s why I’m new now.I’m thrilled when I sit in the car and give some really gas, no matter if with closed flaps or with manually opened flaps. But yesterday I let my brother drive with the request that he gives some real gas while driving past me. And it was more than disappointing because I would like my car not only to sound sporty in the interior ic h ask you which exhaust you have or a good alternative.I’ll give you a picture of my exhaust, maybe you know it?

997 Turbo Facelift: Nordschleife manufacturer specification
Source: current sports car Porsche has specified an internal lap best time for the facelift turbo on the Nordschleife of 7:39 min. Now the check in the form of the sports car super test remains to be seen, which according to experience is always slightly slower than the manufacturer’s specification. (see explanation here) What is somewhat surprising is that the Vorfacelift model has already been specified at 7:38 min. This may be due to a different tyre choice. No longer run on UHP sports tires, but on Bridgestone Potenza RE50A.

Dimensions engine and transmission 928
Hello I’m looking for more precise data on the engine and transmission of the 928, especially the dimensions of the different parts would interest me? Which is why I’m interested in? Well, I came up with the idea to convert a Golf 2 with the technology of the Porsche 928, similar to the Artz golf 928, however, the Tüv has become more stringent over time so that a prolonging and widening is not so easy anymore, so I wanted to know at least roughly the dimensions around to see if it would be possible to get the V8 into the engine compartment, that the cooler can no longer stay in the engine compartment and the middle tunel has to be “processed” is clear to me. Who can give me some more precise information about the extent of the technology or can even assess if my project would be possible from the place? Thanks in the previous MFG Tiffanyracer

So now it’s official: Porsche has VW
http://www.nowadays.de/ZDFtoday/content/17/0.3672,7272849.00.html The announcement also fits quite well a few hours before: “…The VW Group reported a significant increase in profits to 3.4 billion euros in the first half of the year. Compared to the previous year, this represents an increase of 21.8 percent. After tax, the Group earned 2.6 billion euros between January and June. Revenue in the first half of the year therefore rose by three percent to 56.5 billion euros. In the first half of the year, the Group sold 3.27 million vehicles worldwide – more than ever before in the company’s history. According to VW, the global market share had thus increased to 9.9 percent…” “back to the roots” I can only say

What extras do you think a Boxster 987 should have at least?
Hello, this is my first post in this forum, unfortunately I could not find my own “Boxster Group”. I would like to buy a used Boxster 987 (no S) and spend as little money as possible. I think of a maximum of approx. 38.000 Euro. I will drive with the vehicle approx. 6.000 Km a year. So that this invoice works, I am ready to do without various extras. As already written: I drive by car approx. 6000Km / year and get also in the standard equipment (Air conditioning, electric cover, radio/CD is enough for me too…) Almost every buyer has certain extras with which he says: “They just have to go inside”! Of course, I feel the same way. The following extras should have my new used one: – Metallic of course (A dream would be meteograymetallic for me, but doesn’t have to) – Leather equipment in standard colour (a penchant to gray would be nice, but doesn’t have to) – Seat heating – Bi-Xenon (The 18 inch Boxster S wheel would be good, this would be nice. I’ll describe a “naked” Porsche Boxster with just 4 extras. Now I’m looking forward to your honest opinions. What extras would you not give up on in any case and why? What do you think of my compilation? What else should I pay attention to? Best regards, Roland

New car order Carrera 4 or 4s?
Good day, I’m new here at the Porsche Forum. So far I drove an Audi S4. Now I’m about to order a new 911er. It’s going to be an all-wheel coupe with a sliding roof and PDK: I don’t know if it’s supposed to be an S. The extra power is not so important for me. And if the extras are really important for the S as standard, I’m hard to estimate. That’s why I’d like your advice: What do you see the advantages of the S? Is the S louder? Are the brakes in the S effek Is the PASM only there to make the chassis harder and deeper or does it have other advantages? Can you get the extra price of the S back in the resale after 3 years? Does the S basically make more fun? Thank you in advance for your answers!
