  • Cayenne S E-Hybrid BJ 2015

Dear Porsche municipality, my A6 Quattro goes back to the dealership in January and a new car has to come here. In any case, one that makes it easier to get in and out of the car or makes it easier to get in and out of the car, i.e. a SUV. Unfortunately, mMn is relatively limited the possibilities due to the offer in this segment. Therefore, I have to/want to decide between Rang Rover Sport, new X6 and the new Cayenne. The new Volvo or the Jeep is out of the question for me. with the crazy NOVA is between the small Porsche Diesel (20% VAT and 18% NOVA) and the S E-Hybrid (20% VAT and 0% NOVA) hardly a difference in price, on the contrary, with proper equipment the S E-Hybrid is even about 1,000 euros cheaper in the purchase. Sounds funny, but is that so. Now to my question. How high is the consumption of the current hybrid really? Can you convert that to about the new one or what you expect? Is there a test somewhere, I h abe unfortunately found nothing. I would be happy about constructive answers. Dear greetings from Austria Martin

  • 997 Programming Belt and Navi

I get annoyed by the Pipton, who is supposed to warn you that you have not yet strapped on. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the programming that the sound is missing. Likewise, clicking the Navi greeting screen with the warnings is annoying.

  • Macan, steering problems?

Hello dear forum, since I have unfortunately completely fallen on the face of my last car purchase (minimum Audi S5) I am now a bit, if not very, overcautious. I possibly intend to buy a Macan, but am a little unsure because Porsche also belongs to the Volkswagen group. Now directly to my questions: What is installed in the Macan for a steering? Electromechanical? From the VAG group, from AUDI, or yet foreign manufacturer? What is the technical function, differently a Does the car drive straight ahead? What is the paint quality? Does the paint look like AUDI after 2 washings like on a 20-year-old construction site transporter or are Porsche high-quality/robuster lacquered? DSG transmission: Can you drive downhill with a Porsche automatic transmission? Who is the manufacturer? Air conditioning: Does it only crack in the summer and runs on “full gas” without really cooling, or does it work? Especially with the steering I’m very, very critical. Orgen ran a Macan test on N-TV (PS the car magazine). The moderator, unusually and without justification, pointed directly to the “Oh so great” steering. That makes me extremely suspicious. For your answers in advance thank you.

  • Purchase advice 997 convertible BJ 2005-2008

Hello friends, I have read and searched the forum posts here for some time now. Unfortunately, n few entries are a few years old and I am partly not sure if all this is still true. I’m playing with the idea that my next car will be a “fun car”. What’s more fun than n 911er? So in the case n 997er from year 2005 – 2008. I’ve been looking at it for a while now. I’d be grateful about your experience, which I have to pay attention to. I want the convertible ho My key data: approx.10.000 – 12500km a year a lot of city traffic Drive to work 7km through the city. (along the ring) I want to drive the car as a “daily driver”. That means it will be my only car. I am currently looking at BJ 2005-2008 to max. 100.000km and there we lie between 42T€-54T€. Depending on the KM and the year of construction. Is there a KM limit, where it starts “so slow” with the “diseases”? Will the warm in the 7km? My BMW 635D is getting warm at the moment, for that the route lasts. So oil. I want to drive the car as a “daily driver”. That means it will be my only car. I now have 100€ insurance + tax per month (35% and 500€ SB at VK) and 250€ per month for maintenance + tyres and other jokes. Does this happen with the KM performance per year? Will only have a bit of an overview. How vulnerable is the 997er? unfortunately I can find nothing at all. Many thanks in advance for your experience in advance. Greeting narrow

  • Motortalk driving event at Hockenheim- or Nürburgring.

Motortalk-Fahrevent Oschersleben on 23.10.2006 EDIT: In the meantime it is about an event at the Hockenheim- or Nürburgring. More information can be found here. The idea: to organize a driving event for MT members on a German racetrack. We do NOT want to limit ourselves to Porsche vehicles, the event should not be brand-bound, all brands can participate in it! Originally a “lose” meeting of individual MT members was planned, but due to the entry to today We have set ourselves the goal of organizing this event EXCLUSIVE only for MT members. The date and the route: Although the search for an appointment on a suitable race track was rather difficult, we now have a fixed date and a fixed race track: the event is scheduled to take place on Monday, 23.10.2006 in Oschersleben. The costs: The cost of the event is approx. 250 Euro. Prerequisite for this is the Teilna hme of at least 70 vehicles! All below is not possible due to the organizational effort and risk! If we become significantly more than 70 vehicles, the price would accordingly decrease. After naming a part of the nominal fee must be paid directly, this takes place in a trusting account only for this event to be set up. Thus, the remaining money can be proved at any time. The planned procedure: beginning about 9.00 – 9.30 After a short briefing, the track can then be “started”. Since many racetrack newcomers have already registered, we will probably form two groups that can ride in a change. Thus, the “unnecessary” could turn your lap in peace without being pressed by the “racers”. And whoever feels called in the course of the day can “get up” at any time. IMPORTANT: On the track there is basically HELMET. In the evening, I will try to organize a cozy meeting in the hotel or in a restaurant in Oschersleben, so that we can review the day again at “Benzin Talks”.The additional features:Documentation of the MT Event: I will try to organize a professional photo and video team for the event. These would then film and photograph and we would have had the possibility to buy a film and photo CD of the event after a few weeks. These CDs will then cost about 20 euros.Room reservation: Directly at the race track there is a hotel where we can reserve rooms. I would take care of the collective reservation and shortly request the group price. The standard prices are also to be found on their homepage and amount (without agreement for a large group) approx. 78,– € for a single room and approx. 110,- € for a doppe lzimmer. If we come with such a large group, then we will surely come down with the price! You can have a look at it in advance at:http://www.motorsportarena.com and then click on menu item “Hotel” . So, that’s it for now. Greeting Konni Stand 13.04.2006 ps: All current information about the driving event as well as the current participant list can be found on the following link: http://service.gmx.net/mc/lhxWPYqApBP3RpxkJZOoLvKnA8DtR

  • Red leather – go/no-go?

Hello, a question to the experienced Porsche drivers: What do you think about (granet) red leather? On some photos this looks chic, on some quite terribly aggressive…. Here in the video it looks really noble and not too bright….Youtube If who has something like this – what is the long-term satisfaction? Does one look tired then quickly? The car would be a daily driver, not just a weekend pleasure. thank you grani

  • Complete 997 S in locked garage?

The KD master of the PZ advised me to lock the vehicle in the garage, which is only used by me, with the FB, so that the ECUs are “cut down”. I thought the vehicle would pull less power out of the battery if the alarm system is not activated. Who knows details?

  • Porsche 997 S Bj 04-07 Maintenance costs?

Hello, I seriously think about getting a 911 he (997 S) after me, unfortunately I have no plan at all what is coming to me financially, except the purchase price. I drove a Honda S2000 before and think that this car was not exactly cheap either. It would be nice if someone could tell me what the inspections cost, what is involved in wear parts on me if brakes etc. have to be changed. Furthermore, I am interested in taxes and where doie insurance beoi is 45 percent? (UK and TK) Where is the average consumption? Thanks in advance! Cello
