Hallöle, when I look at the current crash in the financial markets, it’s starting to make me feel rather murky. Now I seriously wonder if I should keep my money burning or if I should take my heart, take everything and take it as a down payment for a nice little boxster? I get at least something for the money and don’t have to be frustrated every day by the horror news. In addition, for example, an RS60 Spyder would also get me the losses already suffered. I don’t know if I’m crazy.

Will Wiedeking be dropped off?
Moin, I just found the following text in the online edition of the picture: “VW Supervisory Board Chairman Ferdinand Piëch is working on a “Spiegel” report to dismiss Wendelin Wiedeking as Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche. The reason is that Wiedeking has almost made enemies of the friendly companies since Porsche joined the VW Group, reports the magazine, citing Confidential Piëchs. Not only the works councils were arguing, but also in VW and Audi-Man there were massive resistances, because Wiedeking had challenged models such as the Phaeton and brands such as Seat. Piëch Wiedeking could replace them only with the approval of the other members of the Porsche Piëch family. At the moment, however, these are still to be firmly associated with Wiedeking, writes the “Spiegel” greeting Björn

How do the Porsche brakes brake?
Hi, I would be interested in what exactly distinguishes the Porsche brakes, and how the braking behaviour of Porsche brakes is expressed. I myself drive a 322mm Porsche 933 Turbo 4-piston brake system (forder axle). The discs are no longer the latest, and the car stood for a long time. I personally get along with the brakes. But many of the acquaintances (who have recently driven with my car) think that the Porsche brakes are very unspectacular with me. You have to press relatively hard on the brake so that it can brake properly at all. And if it is then packed, then very unspectacular. now I would like to know from you, what does it look like with you when you brake? do you clearly measure that it is Porsche brakes, or do they stand out by other things? Many greetings

Porsche Diesel Imaginable
In view of the CO2 debate, Porsche no longer excludes the addition of a more economical diesel engine to the series. “It was never a categorical no,” Wiedeking said. Basically, a diesel engine could already be installed in the Cayenne off-road vehicle today, but the extra weight of 150 kilograms costing driving dynamics and keeping Porsche from it so far. Source — According to the statement, it will probably not become more self-developed, maybe the Boxer Diesel from Subaru would be something 🙂 But I think 150 kg of argumentation is ridiculous.

Cayenne, twins?
Hello dear Porsche Talker, I have one, for here, unusual question: Who has experience with the Cayenne with twins, or with two child seats in the rear plus medium seat with aupair? Would you recommend this to someone, or rather not? Porsche doesn’t take the Cayenne out for a real test for a week, so here’s the question (well, Volvo doesn’t do it either, but I have a V70 and therefore I know it fits). is a real criterion (A6 and 5 Series Touring do not go therefore). It only remains E class, Cayenne and V70. Mercedes just don’t want my wife and I, and Volvo forces one to take an automatic with the gasoline on the new model, which is a no-no for both of us. That’s why the XC90 does not work either. So remains the Cayenne, which does not differ from the V70 T6 cost-wise. With the Volvo it works easily and the trunk is fine. The Cayenne goes straight, would But I still take it because a Zuffenhausener is already “netter” as one from Gothenburg. And both come to almost identical total costs (Sprit, Verse, etc.). I am aware that the selection for the Cayenne concerning trunk will not be quite usual, but it is worth the attempt of the question.

All-wheel in winter – mandatory?
We think about the purchase of a 911. Important (because expensive!) here is the decision “All-wheel or not”. I realize that all-wheel is probably better in winter than rear-wheel drive – but how is the rear-wheeler in winter? As climbable as once a beetle? Background is that it goes up to our house a short steep track, on which my wife with her BMW rear-wheeler always stuck. Therefore, it connects “back-wheel drive = stay hanging” and my arguments regarding G ewicht, rear engine, etc. are only received skeptically. Mind you, I came up with the BMW of course… Is there a few opinions? We will certainly not go to the Engadine with the 911 for skiing, it is more about middle mountain winter operation. Thank you, Miesmacher

Hit with strong acceleration, no more gas.
Dear Porsche Association For some time now I have the following problem, with my Porsche Boxster 3.2 S (185kW) year 01.2001: With “normal driving style”, everything is OK. However, if the accelerator pedal is completely penetrated, e.g. when accelerating, it happens that the vehicle is slowed down in one stroke, as if no more petrol would come. The vehicle no longer accepts gas. The vehicle stutters as if it were no longer running on all cylinders. If you turn the engine off and on again, it starts wi I have read out error memory with our Gutmann tester. The following errors are stored: Error code P0102 Air mass meter Signal too low Error code P1266 Fuel pump monitoring Function faulty Error code 1505 Throttle actuator Function faulty Error code 1501 Fuel pump relay Short circuit after mass I have another problem. t the car does not start for 1-2 weeks. Something sucks electricity. However, could not find anything yet. Did someone already have the same problem or is something known? Thank you already in advance!

Cayenne 958 Conversion to Facelift from 2014
Hello together a friend would like to convert his Cayenne 958 Bj 2011 into the current Facelift (from 2014). I would like to help him. Is this possible without further ado? He is most interested in the headlight front and the rear taillights. He likes these very much. Unfortunately, I don’t know about Porsche and would ask for your help or experience. I think plug and play won’t go at least look the taillights narrower and he would probably also have to take the shockstick. e renew… Can someone help us implement this project? Thank you for your help. P.S. please don’t give up any stupid comments. This doesn’t get any further here…
