  • Find help with the purchase of a Cayenne Turbo S, 6/2009 with approved warranty!!

Hello dear community, I am about to buy a Cayenne Turbo S. This is the following offer set in mobile.de: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/porsche-cayenne-turbo-s-approved-garantie-bis-3-2016-karlsdorf-neuthard/203246789.html?&original=PARK&ticket=ST-1167846-AsHlcAbedktLGzhQZlP4-mycas46-2_c01_4201 The seller holds on to the price, does not drop a cent. On March 11, 2015, the vehicle has a new approved guarantee valid until March 11, 2016 (cost 1300.- Euro), which would of course be transferable to me. No defects have been detected on the vehicle. According to the list, the vehicle with special equipment has a new price of approx. 158000.- Euro (calculated with price list 2009), how do you find the selling price? Hope that someone can help me whether the vehicle is purely purchaseable from the recognizable data, or possibly overpriced is offered. Greeting Dixie

  • Wheel Doctor

Hello, my 996er has now 70,000km down and there are no damage to the rims. Yesterday I underestimated the entrance to Cinemaxx and swooped a fat macke into the left rear rim. Also the coat of the tire got a damage. As far as I can estimate this as layman I would say nothing dangerous, stop 1-2 mm deep scratch. With us in the area (Braunschweig) I find unfortunately no professional rim doctor. Is this at all advisable? Verlie I don’t want a tire to burst at 300km/h or a rim to break… Would you trust your darling, for example, http://www.autojuwelier.de? Does the Porsche workshop make rim repairs? Greetings

  • Boxster brought to the inspection…

Servus, have just given me to the PF Zuffenhausen for the large 60,000km maintenance. I was positively surprised about the customer friendliness, immediately offered drink and the seller took a long time for me. 2 Carrera GTs were also standing around in the area. Both belonged to the owner himself, or rather father and son. Sonnemann drove the Carrera GT to scrap, after which he had to be rebuilt completely, as I was told. 😉 The two then came auc h to pick up. Let’s come to the topic, the PZ salesman/mechanic whatever looks at my car on the lift with me, etc. and sit down later at his desk to write the order. In our conversation I address him to the well-known “simmerring problems”, which according to various forums should have been fixed since the BJ 02/05. Suddenly he says, yes he often hears blah, tells me something and suddenly thinks that mine is slightly “sweaty” on the ground. But it definitely wouldn’t be leaking. He definitely confirmed to me that I don’t need to worry, but somehow I have a bad taste. What do you think about it? He also showed me again, there is an area with very small oil residues, but look dry. The guy still meant if he was leaking, the area would be large and also fresh. I don’t know, but why should he tell me a shit?

  • frustrating search 944/ S /S2 – Moon prices!

I am frustrated. I had a youth dream of the Porsche, which I fulfilled 1 year ago in the form of a 924 S (please do not make any contributions about “real” or “unreal”. The purchase was planned, but not at this time, because the carport and the footprint were not yet available. Then the offer: 924 S, Indian red, 2 hd. 116.000 km very well maintained. Purchased for 2,950 Euro ́s. Although now very happy, after 3 months sold again for ́s same, since at the time no happy S situation with 3 cars. But the dream won’t let me go and I want a 924 S o. better still 944 S or S2. Then the search in the relevant portals on the Internet with the result that most providers probably have put up your ads in a rush. Completely ridden dirt carts at the horror price. Almost all over 200 Tkm to at least 3.500 Euro ́s (in the best case). So, I am also a fan of the 924/944 and am happy about the increasing popularity, but you should w In the latest edition of the vintage car market (special issue of Yountimer) state notes and prices are clearly defined, but the market apparently doesn’t want to know about it. Well, what do I do now? I will probably postpone the topic until people become reasonable again. P.S. As an appendix a picture of my 924 S, if one can show me a similar specimen at a similar price, I give him a bottle of Shampus. No cracks in the A. board, as good as new seats etc… Greetings to all Porsche drivers

  • Cayman S: suspension vs. road

Hello everybody, has someone gathered experiences with the 2005 Cayman S model, how long-term blows through uneven roadway affect the body and interior? Forgive me my naive sensitivity! For a few months I’ve been the happy owner of a Cayman S. I’ve changed from an old BMW E36 combi bucket using the Cayman as an everyday car, driving about 80 km of highways every day. Most of the time, when there’s no traffic jam, is the purest pleasure: Spo rtmodus on, PASM on, off for that. Unfortunately, it is a lot of busy routes with a lot of motorway crosses and bridges. And at the latest it says again for me: sport mode off, PASM off, speed reduced. The blows, which it hails at some places from below, already have it in itself. At each descent of these Rhineland motorways changes one to three times the road surface, partly with grooves of 2 cm depth. That was already not nice in the station wagon, but in the new car really bleeds my heart at the thought of the poor car body screws. How long will it take for my glove compartment to ram the whole ride and until the dashboard gives the same disgusting snare sounds of itself as in my 3rd? The car is now two years old and has 32,000 km on it. They will rise by a good 20,000 per following year 🙁

  • High penalty payment against Porsche….

https://www.br.de/…/…mt-verhaengt-zwangsgeld-gegen-porsche,Rhu9nAU The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) strikes a tougher gear in the diesel scandal. According to information from BR Recherche, the Flensburg authority has imposed a penalty payment against Porsche because the automaker has not provided a software update for the Porsche Cayenne with 4.2 liter engine of the pollutant class Euro 5 in due time. Porsche must therefore pay 25,000 euros. If the update is not available until 22 November 2019, Porsche is in danger of a further penalty payment of 25,000 euros. The Federal Ministry of Transport informed the BR on request. I hope that Porsche will not be in financial difficulty because of this extremely high penalty payment…. Are there nevertheless delusional 5 euros per vehicle sold for 5000 vehicles of the type Cayenne. Or does the sum of 25,000 euros per vehicle sold??? all morning the TOP news on the radio. I thought I interrogated myself. Then I thought that they forgot a few zeros on the radio. Then I Googled… and actually, it’s 25,000 euros…. um, how please…. VW had to pay a billion euros alone in Germany…. I got something wrong.

  • Cabrio or S-cabrio

I am (still/again) looking for a nice weather fun car. The 911 is certainly a good choice, I really like the 992. Of the pure engine power, the basic motorization is certainly more than sufficient. The only thing that brings the “S” into play for me at all are PDCC, PASM and rear axle steering. All sure options that favor the agility and thus the driving fun and which are not available for the basic motorization. Has any of you experienced, How positive are these options for driving? I’m not talking about tenths of a second on the race track.

  • Do you also have engine damage with your 997 Facelift (from 2008)?

Search Leiden’s companion, who, like me, has a piston eater or other motor-total damage at his 997 facelift from year 2008 at less than 50,000 km. Porsche is dead on my extended bulwark request for 2 weeks and wants to take over only 50% of 19,000 gross so far. It is a repeat damage, also piston eater in 2011 at 33,000 km. My 997 S PDK with performance increase to 408 hp now has 75,000 km and is year 2008. I am a journalist and want with car picture I have heard that this is a material problem and that it often leads to motor-total damage under 50,000 km. But for one story it is not enough. Here I need more cases. Looking forward to your answers. Greetings, Nik

  • 991.2 GTS convertible from 07/2017 – clacking, clapping and crackling

Dear forum, since the first day my driving pleasure is abruptly dampened by an ever-recurring clacking and flapping bzs. It sounds like rain (sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker..) on a roof slant. Origin of the noises are the side windows and door panels. (no, I didn’t put stuff in the door that claps :-)…) At first it was the two windows that rubbed and vibrated at the rubber hook. Someone might have had similar experience. ? – At first the noises were left and right. After I had the car for the first time in the Porsche center it got better, but really the noises were never gone. It followed service dates 2, 3 and 4. – everything without real success. Does anyone have any tips? Slowly I lose my good manners if I have to go to the service center again. I also made videos, unfortunately they don’t get uploaded here. Thank you for your advice and tips!
