Hello first of all, I have a question (am new in the forum), but have found no answer. I bought a 986 with automatic at a good price. Mainly my wife drives it, only in everyday life, so nothing with fast on highway or any “sport activities”. The following problem: the boxster was lowered by the previous owner and has only 10cm ground distance. As far as I can see only the springs are replaced, so not the suspension/shock absorbers. This is totally underestimated when buying (100% my fault) and it really doesn’t work: don’t come into the garage without putting it on, not over a little board stone and have concerns to drive into the parking garage. Is there any kind of cheap way to “increase” the car or bring it to the original state? If you have ideas or even know someone who can do something like that please let me know. His price ideas are between 60,000 – 70,000€ Now I was already on the Internet on various “car exchanges” and came to the realization that there is a very rich offer of 911ers, but in this price range there are still no real “knallers” available… He should definitely not have run more than 20,000 kilometers, 100 %y have PDK and in the best case be black/black! white/black would also be okay! Hello together. About 4 months ago I had a noticeable power loss on the highway. The motor electronics control pollution started and I was sobered to the next Porsche center. There was a ignition coil defect diagnosed. To be sure that this error did not occur again, all coils were changed. Unfortunately in vain. Because the error occurred again. And to my anger far away from home on a holiday trip in Richtu ng Alpen. In the next Porsche-Zentrum one tried for 3 hours to find an error or the cause for the error occurred. But this unfortunately did not succeed. After a ECU reset and an intensive test drive I was left on the road again. Since then, of course, I drive with a oppressive feeling through the country.
