  • Cayenne/ Macan in everyday life… Experiences?

Hello together It would be in the next time after a long abstinence of Zuffenhausen family growth in the house. I am quite aware that the thread consists of personal experiences and would fit in with the forum in itself. Here, however, it is really about the two models Cayenne or Macan. Also a personal test drive is of course mandatory… On the actual topic: how should it possibly become a Cayenne or Macan. How are your experiences there in the Al I/we are of course aware that it is not a city flicker that is to be squeezed into every parking space. Also the naked comparison of the numbers indicates that the vehicles are above all the Cayenne, insignificantly larger than e.g. a 5 BMW. Experiences in the area SUV are absolutely not available, therefore you would be interested in me. Do you already panic to have to go to the city? For parking etc? Of course a bit exaggerated expressed. a smaller town, Ruhr area is more or less on the doorstep… maybe still as a small marginal note. Edit: Both Macan models are in question, as well as current and “old” facelift Cayenne model.

  • Cayman S space over medium engine for French bulldog

Hi ! I returned my beloved A6 Avant 3.0 at the friendly one because the financing was over. Since I have no desire for the A6 Facelift, I will finance a Cayman S for 12 months to return it. (as the old saying says so nicely, every real man should have driven a Porsche before his 40th one) 😉 I will be in May 40 so I have to hurry. Except for a nice wife there is still a French Bul ldoge who prefers to stay with us in Timmendorf on our 39 feet cutter instead of in Hamburg. What about the space available and has someone experience with small dogs above the middle engine here, I mean the problems like noise, temperature development, space. Also I could not find in the accessory trade a dog separator grid for the Cayman, only original goods from Porsche which does not have to be with such a short use. e it also be good that we trigger this from the financing at the end, depends on the market situation and whether the wife of the Cayman will like as a second car. By the way, it is a leasing takeover (I am still negotiating, but looks very good) Oh yes then would like to order the new A6 in twelve months because I occasionally need a hook for our tender. Hope that you could give me a help regarding Cayman and the dog problem. Thank you in advance Christian

  • Porsche Actions

Hi forum, how would it be if we kept a thread alive by everyone writing in their information about discounts from Porsche? So I have the following in the offer Here in Hanover is on 13.03 something like a “day of Klappennauspuff”. There are many vehicles with the things on display, also in different colors etc. and every customer can take a really nice look at the things. And who gives an order on this day gets 25% discount on the plant Selbs t and 25% on the wage costs!! Not bad at all BUT: I already got an offer for the flap here in Hanover. There it was 320€ for the plant incl. installation and everything that belongs to it! Yesterday I got my invitation to this event and a “new” offer was submitted to me on this occasion. The old price for the plant is at 3700(!!!)€ and the new one would be at only 270€. That was the only relief drop. don’t know why Porsche raises the prices and then gives a discount on it? But the important thing is that there is this event at 13 halt and these percentages.

  • Panamera with 3.6 liter V6 engine

I have just discovered Moin, the first concrete information about the new Panamera entry-level model with the V6 engine… A specially developed 3.6-litre V6 engine, which – unlike the Cayenne off-road vehicle – does not come from the Volkswagen Group shelf, but is derived directly from the 4.8-litre V8 of the Panamera S. The engine, which is shortened by two cylinders, which produces a maximum torque of 400 Nm to the crankshaft, is 30 kilograms lighter than its sister unit with eight cylinders. Verbr also- and emission values from 9.3 l/100 km or 213 g/km CO2 (rear-driver with double coupling gearbox) document not only the efficiency of the engine, but also the lightweight construction of the chassis and body. Porsche has used aluminium or an aluminium-magnesium mixed design for many components. The rear-driven Panamera is available with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed double coupling gearbox (PDK) supplied by ZF; the all-wheel drive Panamera 4 is n The puristic entry-level model with hand switch costs 75,899 euros; for the Panamera 4 at least 84,110 euros will be due including PDK. The world premiere will take place on 23 April at the car salon in Beijing; with the dealers is the six-cylinder starting from May. • Problems with starting 986

Hello, short question of beginners – please don’t stony but have already read a lot about what it can hang on when starting (sprite, battery, fuel supply etc.). But from the beginning: have a 986 (BJ 99), but for a few days I have the following problem which I would like to fix preventively before it gets worse: when starting cold (i.e. the first ride of the day) it is a bit difficult when starting. The starter runs about 7 seconds before the engine starts. Noise, no smoke, no lack of fuel, battery and alternator both tested and ok). If I then start it where instead and again everything works super fast (1-2 seconds) just as normal. Even if it was 1-2 hours everything was normal. Since the delay in the cold start over the last weeks became longer I worry if one day it does not concern at all and then I am far away from a workshop. My question: What can it be and what can I renew now with it I don’t look stupid at some point Greetings & Thanks, Christian

  • Stickers on the driver’s side

Hello dear forum community, I am looking for a used Porsche Carrera 911 (997) 4S. At a factory I found a sticker on the driver’s side during the inspection, which is also quite large. The seller said it was optics. I have attached a picture to it once, because I can hardly imagine that one can be recognized as on the picture ONLY on a page such a sticker packs uas “optical reasons”. I am actually a complete attachment and I wonder what someone would like to hide with a sticker like that. Rost? a huge scratch? Could this give you lasting problems? I know that remote diagnosis is hardly possible with the help of an image. Just an assessment would be very nice. What are the reasons to put such a sticker on it except optical and how can I test whether something really worse is hidden behind the sticker without taking it off? or to look elsewhere from the inside? Love greetings

  • Children of what age can sit in the back of the 911?

Hello together, said “Children of what age can sit in the back of the 911?” but don’t know how I can edit the crazy topic. would very much like to enjoy a Porsche, which is not so easy for various reasons, not least the price. In addition, we have three small boys. One-year-old twins and a three-year-old. Since I should bring them to kindergarten in the morning, it wouldn’t be wrong if you also had room. Thus, Boxter and Caymann leave. 11. Can children and above all can you sit in the back without a child seat. From what age and above all up to what age is this possible? Are there any differences in space between the models 964, 993, 996 and 997? Thank you very much.

  • Porsche Centers Paderborn and Rostock

Hello dear community, next week I will buy a nearly two-year-old 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS in one of the two Porsche centers as a replacement for my Jaguar. (cash payment) Is there any of you who has had experience with one of the two centers in the field of sales, aftersales and workshop? Look forward to your information and wish you a beautiful Pentecost!

  • Connection MP3 to PCM

After I have updated my original PCM with horrendous costs I would like to add a modern Ipod (or similar). Can someone tell me the PIN occupancy of the radio connections? I am sure that an AUX signal can be processed in the CD changer input. I have installed this myself with a blue point radio. However, the PCM is to my knowledge from Becker. Unfortunately the inserted MP3 cassette has a ground loop (why ever). If it were possible d the soloist from an Audi A8 Bj 2002 with Navigation Plus? In the Audi, the soloist never convinced, as Viedeo signals should have been transmitted. In the Porsche, audio is not enough because the system can’t video. I still believe that Becker (Porsche) and Audi (Blue Point) use the same DIN connections. Vehicle: Porsche 996 with PCM incl. CD changer at the time.

  • Opatronic in 997 – my impressions…

Now the Tiptronic could finally test itself, here (m) a small impression: For an automatic transmission, in which mode one is travelling most of the time, it is in itself quite fine. Comfortable handling, as well as clean switching processes speak for themselves – to glide away it is excellent. In a SPORT car it has nothing to look for in my opinion! In upper class limousines from the blow of an A8, MB S-Class etc. the automatic is again a must. The clutch pedal, the really free gear selection as well as the possibility to interrupt the force flow by means of the clutch, simply keeps me “moving” more fun For me, the Op um Tiptronic is therefore not in question. I was curious about the PDK, which I wanted to test the days once, but it will not be much different – except the force flow which is permanently there, i.e. without tension interruption. I will still test it once. I don’t think it’s possible for me – the few tenths you’re faster at 100, don’t make up for the lost driving pleasure. I’m glad to be able to take my hand switched seat again soon As far as my impressions…
