  • “Damage” 991 Carrera

Hello, yesterday when leaving the underground car park, the error message engine/motor control was suddenly lit up without warning. In addition, start/stop Tate was switched off. The vehicle could not be switched off regularly anymore, so I immediately turned it off and had it towed there immediately after a phone call with the PZ. Furthermore, the diagnosis was transmission in emergency run. Has anyone had any experience with this? I bought the vehicle in July 2012 as a demonstration vehicle( year 02/2012). nd experience made herewith or who would be liable/pay for an exchange gearbox. Unfortunately have no approved warranty.

  • Rear window torn / insurance damage ?

Hello together, I have a question and indeed my boxster has torn the plastic rear window and my insurance does not want to replace me a new cover because the rear window is not made of glass. How was this with your insurance? Bin Teilkasko and Volkasko insured.Ach yes,bin was with the saddler and he spontaneously meant that the damage is done by glass damage.

  • Porsche 996 convertible for small money ?

Good day, too. I would like to have a convertible until we say 20,000€. Pure cruiser box, no high-speed orgies, but it should be possible to quickly accelerate out of a curve. In question: – Mercedes SL500 R129 (actually my favorite) – Mercedes SL350 R230 (somewhat the reputation of an Asi car, only as 350, not 500 because of ABC) – Nissan 370Z (should be quite good, but is currently still a big question mark) – Porsche 996 (for the budget difficult, but Not impossible) Who can say what to the 996? Is such a cheaper 11er worth it? Skin clean.

  • Porsche Cayenne – engine problem

Hello to all I’m new here and have a little problem with my Porsche should be the topic here Wrong please move I got a Porsche Cayenne s BJ about two months ago: 2006 with 199.990 Km bought directly on the way home ripped the cooling water hose which the dealer immediately had to fix and so everything was ok for me Quickly we found out that with the vehicle a red oily liquid constantly in sometimes large but sometimes also small amounts of ausl and after every stop a spot under the car was that we then on advice of the dealer packed to the watch list because we assumed that it was vill through the torn hose through the underbody and it solved old dirt at some point we then did not pay particular attention to motor oil was then empty that we filled up and the stand is still exactly right now comes but the real problem it started then that sometimes the the car somehow didn’t find the gears while speeding up again and turned up almost in the empty run until it did a hit and a small set to the front and the gear was in it that made me stubborn then but we also just watched it then increased the whole but again and it piles up now he does it almost every short stop at the traffic light that he turns up like in the empty run and I first have to switch from D to N or R so that he has to turn again The display also shows permanent D, so the displays for M1 M2 etc. don’t come at all anymore there’s only D on top of it no matter if it turns on or I have it as soon as I have used the Tiptronic always immediately on M1 or so adjusted but now no longer additionally I had the problem with the reverse and earlier even on the first ride after two days directly at the beginning and just rolled forward I’m slowly really scared with d to drive a vehicle because I drive a normal car he then turns on and then suddenly no more In addition came recently then the engine control light to it this disappeared then again but is now permanent I know that the workshop would be the best but because of Christmas I can not really afford it at the moment because it was not calculated someone vill has an idea what could come up to me because it is really annoying only two months ago have sold my CLA45AMG I had this for 4 years and I already had to invest a stake money and with Porsche it will certainly not be cheaper I hope to answer a couple and thank everyone for reading

  • Purchase advice 911 convertible……

Hello Porsche municipality, I am looking for a convertible again after about 11 years and play with the idea of getting a 911er (997). The 996er is not in question because of the headlights. Budget is at max 45,000 €. Bister I have no experience with Porsche. As far as I have been informed, I should make sure that he has PZ-checkheft and since at the price the cars usually have very high running performance, it should be best one, in which the motor b otherwise I would have to expect that the big damage is about to happen to me. In addition, because many are older than or almost 15 years old (in the above price range), they no longer get a guarantee. And that must already mean something. Overtake the engine or new should cost about 25.000 €, and alternative repair (if possible) which would also be possible “precautionary” costs also happige about 5-6.000 € which I would have to count on/could be on the price if I had to Please correct me….. No offense, but I have a feeling that the vehicles are very overrated because they carry this name. But all the same, I want to have it…. I would like to read your opinion/experience/recommendation. Thank you very much.

  • Experiences with Porsche versus RS4 Avant B7?

Hello together to all Porsche drivers, I would be interested if you had the pleasure of measuring you with an Audi RS4 Avant B7 (i.e. current model) in terms of passage. Could the RS4 stay on the road or did it drive you away? Please indicate your Porsche model. Is by the way a great forum here. Many greetings

  • Thank you, PSM (ESP)…

Moin together, wanted to let you participate in my yesterday’s experience. As you can already guess from the title, I was able to experience yesterday very impressively how well the PSM or the ESP works in the Boxster. What happened: We were invited to barbecue. At around 18:30 clock the weather was still great (in MUC), so open with the Boxster drove there. Later came this heavy storm, so we abbreviated the nice evening and returned home – now of course Closed 😉 From the middle ring it goes at some point in a beautiful, two-lane 270° curve on the A96. I know the curve well. One thinks that the speed limit there is a joke in dryness… it would go easy 20-30km/h more… But not at the wet yesterday. I am with only minimal (really only a few km/h according to Tacho) more than the limit in the curve and swup – first understeer the boxster slightly, then massively break out with the butt. I was completely surprised t, so I reacted much too slowly. I didn’t even feel like being fast – let alone too fast. Anyway, the boxster turned in incredibly fast. The piourette effect of the centered masses, as I was able to experience it on several driving training sessions. The PSM really helped me catch the box – without being guaranteed to have flown off… Thanks PSM! 🙂 The rest of the track was then overly careful *g* So, watch out – it’s manc He’s a lot faster than you’d expect.

  • Porsche 911er with 530 hp

This car does not fit into today’s landscape. With today’s road traffic with high utilization and the high CO2 values, 300 hp. would also be sufficient. Of course, this also applies to Ferrari, MB, BMW and Audi. Greetings – Dieter.
