Experiences Boxster II ???
I’m thinking about creating a Boxster II – either “normal” or the S. Has anyone already had experience with it? Is the Boxster enough or should you take the S (is considerably more expensive)? Can someone say something about the insurance costs for the vehicle, I can’t estimate it at all – at 40% at present – what you pay for the Boxster / Boxster S. . Thanks in advance for your tips !!!!!! Dancetokranz

How long does a boxster hold…?
Hello, in conversation with a Porsche specialist a few years ago came the statement that the 911, 3.0 is an indestructible specimen. A vehicle, which produces lower costs than a GTI/GSI etc. in a sporty way, because the technology is robust and designed for motorsports. However, since the Otto normal driver rarely exhausts these possibilities, a 911, 3.0 is always at the lower limit. However, with the newer soft” models this would not necessarily be Now I ask myself the question, a boxster is a robust single-seater model or a “€ grave”. What does the experience look like from the practice, I think of workshop costs engine damage etc. Thank you for your honest opinion and experience.. Greeting and continue to have fun

Porsche weakens in the USA
Porsche recorded a slight decline of 0.7 percent to 3541 vehicles in its most important sales market. The 911 model series increased by 7 percent to 1166 cars. The Boxster even increased by 20 percent to 1265 units. However, the Cayenne reduced the monthly result by 20 percent to 1102 vehicles. Bad may … Alfan Edit: Quelle Financial Times Deutschland

Angbot and demand
As newly baked economists, I would be interested to see if you would notice that Porsche’s used car prices tend to go down after more and more Porsches are built and thrown onto the market, but this would have to be felt in the long term by a growing supply of used Porsches! After I estimate the demand for used cars for rather stable, the prices would have to go down in the long term! with good arguments of course gladly convince!

Abstruse Preispolitik-Boxster/Cayman/Carrera/Carrera-Cabrio!?!
Hello, Can anyone explain the current price policy of Porsche? It seems to me as if you are rolling prices, probably even in a not very sober condition. In the Boxster/Cayman series the version with open roof (Boxster) costs with the same engine power / same driving performance recently: Basic models approx.3.500 € less S-models approx.5.500 € less With the Carrera the version with open roof costs approx.10.200 € more. As long as the Cayman S the 3.4l engine with Varioca But now? At least in Europe “Schnappi” was killed.More than 5500 € for a slightly stiffer car. That doesn’t even pay idealists.A few more masochists. For reasons of unification and associated cost savings, the offer situation Boxster/Cayman will not change at least in the model year 2007. Maybe one of you has an idea what this should be? Greeting Cool i PS: The steel is now more expensive than fabric, I already know. It’s from yesterday!

Coating
Hello friends and enemies, I have a topic of my own now, apart from all disputes about exhaust noise and water cooling: My PZ has its own department, in which 3 specialists do not carry out complete painting work, but e.g. rim repairs and fine work on vehicles, which otherwise does not do normal painting operation. Among other things, even the Ferrari and Maserati representative here places a car there, when a particularly tickling thing is at hand. They suggested to me yesterday to seal my (almost) new (black A1) 997S with Teflon. This means that you simply rinse dirt with the high-pressure cleaner, you don’t have to grow any more and the black car shines even deeper than already. Machine wash must not be premature, but it doesn’t get anyway. The windows have to get a nano-sealing, because Teflon does not adhere to it, still the (even with hand wash inevitable). n) Mini scratchers are polished. The whole holds then 5-6 years with gentle handling of the car, guarantee there is 3 years, a post-treatment there, if necessary, for 150,- €, first treatment approx. 500 €. I have never heard of Teflon in this application and would be pleased about a advice if someone already knows it or has heard of it by acquaintances. As said, the makers of this story are known as highly qualified specialists. For every advice applies: May sometimes on 99 7S exhaust listen if he likes and in any desired flap condition! Greetings Klaus

Porsche Cayman – the true 911er??
The Porsche Boxster Coupe should be named Cayman and in the top version 300hp from 3.4 liters ….where is the 911er? what can he offer in addition to the image of a legend? From the driving fun the mid-engine Cayman will bring more, the driving performance will be similar and the price of the Cayman will be much lower…

Cayenne V6 in USA only $44,100
Since I seriously intend to buy a Cayenne V6 and have seen some new cars in mobile.de and autosout.de, I tried to find myself. On the American side of Porsche there is the identical configurator as on the Germans and the $ 44,100 corresponds to about € 34,150. With around € 14,000 price advantage, the search is really fun :-). Concrete question(s) to the forum: 1. Has someone experience with the import from the USA 2. how does it behave s I am known to someone with the warranty/guarantee 3. Are there serious distinctions in the standard equipment USA – Europe??? I have become particularly stubborn with the option “European Delivery” in Leipzig. Maybe then I do not have to import the vehicle from USA at all, but pick it up with the purchase contract of my american Porsche Dealers in Leipzig, let me send the necessary papers from the states and let it easily in Germany. Nest increasing barriers, but the attempt is worth it!!! Look forward to your answers!!! Many greetings Sven.
