  • Does your Cayman need 2,9 oil?

Hi together, lately my Cayman has been a bit worried… Every now and then he has a quiet whistle like an owl and what I noticed is that he needs the last 2000km relatively much oil. I had to refill a liter of oil well in the last 2000km… In which the 8000 before almost none at all. I also started the boxerfurz with almost everyone… That can’t be normal? Or am I wrong… No I’m not driving on the race track… I’m actually driving normally and I’m organizing e actually hardly any speed orgies (i.e. to the red area, never in the red!) Is that also so with you? It seems to me that it is only since the last completely new setup of the software in the PZ. (my on-board computer no longer had a RDK menu and the car had to be completely “initiated”. There was apparently also engine management updates) Is this normal or should I have it checked? Thank you and greeting JD

  • 37% lime. Residual value at 36 months 20tkm 991S Cab. ???!?!

Hello, I come directly from the BMW warehouse and am currently planning to order a 991S convertible for the beginning of 2013. So far I had always leased the cars, but at the moment I fluctuate between purchase and leasing. Was now at the local PZ and had a 991 convertible reckoned. Gross LP 141K If I would order it like this and would like to lease it for 36 months at 20 tkm without special rental payment we are at gross approx. 2300 EUR. The discounted cash price would be approx. 132K (approx. 6.5% discount). I know that BMW has extreme leasing conditions. Here, even Audi & Co. is moaning that they can’t keep up, but 37%… that blows out the lid. I read that the 11s should still have about 56% value after 3 years with 60 tkm. I don’t really need to think about leasing in such numbers. Even if I raise the price, I don’t need to think about leasing. I am much better off here with a purchase. I am grateful for every objective opinion… Cheers

  • GT 3 R Hybrid in the lead at the 24h race

Hello everyone. I as not Porschefan has to break here times a lance for the factory racing department which has with the brand new GT 3 R Hybrid,am ring at the 24 H race, a really great car at the start. I am impressed beside the pure performance of the car because the “established ” actually have to get behind this new development in the continuous run. That the Manthey Porsche possibly still the theoretically faster car at the distance is also waste. As you can see m used these vehicles significantly harder push to drive out their tank stops, and that not like the last years infinitely long, with the high risk of an out or accident, goes well you have just seen at Manthey. Great thing! Knows of a more accurate info ́s from the standing grip over the technology ? me would be interested in some things. – Total storage energy (in Joule ?) – Achverwegs or wheelwise drive ? I go from wheelwise without diff. – actual additional weight t – Dosage options ? – Compromise with other components ? ( space , cooling …etc ) also that the car is subject to an approximate extra weight of about 150 kg ( according to DSF ) seems to be no problem , at least not for the weight distribution !

  • Bose Soundsystem – my bass solution in 997

Has anyone installed the Bose and also thinks “a little more depth it could already have”, or “suffer” just me? On the system itself, there is nothing else to be put up except the high-ton load. My solution looks like this: A total of 4 JL audio Woofer (8W3) in the bass reflex housing instead of the original Bose housing in the rear, fired by 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch and a sufficiently sized cap. The housing is made for the flat installation location behind the seats, the amps ” “disappear” in the trunk (where the battery is located) and the level controller is placed discreetly in the interior. I had to have a relatively simple solution at i.e. no cable orgies and interventions (hole drilling etc.) carried out on the body, otherwise the thing would have been nothing for me. Visually, there should also be nothing to see from the installation. The components are ordered, after the installation there are always pics. That should be in the Compared to the original quite properly “press” and is easily and in a few steps re-fitable with a later vehicle change

  • Fry Porsche -> Breaking style?

Hello, what do you think of the foiling or car wrapping? Break in style for a Porsche or rather “fashion”? Matte black prolliges nogo or hip? Bonbon inks? Matte titanium silver noble? I stand before the choice to have extensive paint repairs made that cost a lot of money, since the foiling of the vehicle would almost be calculated. I am only indiscriminate and would like to hear your opinions about it. This supplier has a lot of Porsche in his gallery:http://folietechnik.cam -shaft.de/en/index.pmode Greetings Christian

  • 944 S2 – Temporary maintenance and repair work

Hello guys, I hope you can help me! I have recently had a 944 S2 with just under 170,000km year 90. In general it is in a really good condition, but I don’t know if and when the necessary work like belt changes etc. were done. Therefore I want to make up for this as soon as possible! I would like to know what kind of wear parts of the engine there are in this Porsche, which should be changed absolutely during the blessing! At the moment I only think about Za hnbelts, oil filters, spark plugs and this plastic chain tensioner! Please give me, if possible, advice to share that gladly cause errors or even engine damage! Thank you in advance!

  • Buying tips for 997 Carrera S

Hello guys, would like to buy me a 997 convertible S, but some problems arise, would like to ask you for advice. My desired car should not be older than 2.5 years, and not much have run max 25000km, with mobile there is enough, even with sometimes very little run. What one can see that the Km stand is real and not manipulated. Checkbook is clear, but has to be done every year a maintenance, with Longlife oil after all only at least 20000km, so nevertheless eige Not every year? Is the KM-Stand easy to manipulate in the 997? With the Boxster from 1998 it is so easy! Plug on new stand, ready! Are there any known flaws in the vehicle? What should one consider with Porsche connection guarantee? Is there only one variant, and then, for example, the oil change at Porsche has to be made? Does the car have to be serviced annually at Porsche? Are there any differences with the Navi? When was the Facelift in the 997, could it have been 2008, and d was only referring to the headlights and rear lights, front daytime running light rear LED and beveled corner with rear light, right? Yes and of course inside, Navi ect., is clear! Are there any problems in everyday use with the ceramic braking system? Oh, and I do not want a reimport, how can one clearly recognize these vehicles, chassis number?? There are many questions, I know, but in advance many thanks!!! Nidi71

  • Porsche Cayenne GTS Leasing ! How good to have a chat! ?!

Hello my dear Porsche drivers, it’s about the following in this thread: The mother of my best friend drives so far a VOLVO XC90 with full equipment… Since for “social reasons” another car is wanted, was me and her son in order to find against a suitable one: I, as a clear Porsche fanatic can confirm that for a four heady family like us it is, the Cayenne has completely accomplished, until it was triggered by a Panamera. In the beginning a Tur bo , then a GTS for reasons of completely excessive consumption. I want to “turn on” this now also to my best family. The son ( 20 ) clearly agrees with my plan, wants to have a discussion with me in Munich for a leasing. Since I bought only my Audi together with my parents and was 90% of the time in “land road dreaming”, I did not get very much of the actual business part. The criteria for the car should follow e be: -20.000 km max. -70.000€ max. -PDCC & PASM incl. own performance should be 25.000€ , with monthly so around 750€ leasing for 3 years ! ( KMleistung in the year approx. 20,000) color does not matter , interior equipment is excellent due to the standard Alcantara anyway! On test drive my Kolege naturally does not want to do without , where this the purchase decision is not influenced and guaranteed not in the center! My question to you is now: Is there anything to consider at the Cayenne GTS , wa How do I bring the whole serious and advantageous for price discount over? Should I take notice of anything? I thank you very much in advance

  • needs advice from 911 professionals

Hi@all, at the moment, I don’t let go of the senseless idea of buying me a 911. Nonsensical insofar as it would be used by us next to an S2000 as a third vehicle, so probably honor as a fourth vehicle with probably not even 5,000 km a year. But it bothers me to sleep. So that, if I should strike, I don’t do too much nonsense, I would like to resort to the experience of connoisseurs. So I’m interested in which models is with the greatest value The childhood dream of 911 Turbo Targa is not reachable anyway 🙁 . I picked out the following models, but did not visit them. 1. A convertible, advantage – obviously cheap price and nearby, disadvantage – black at the Porsche, I don’t know. I like black cars, but somehow not at the Porsche. In addition, it takes a while to get to the H-mark. n.http://suchen.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… 2. Targa advantage – as 3.2 liters a mature engine, absolutely rust-free, as it looks top condition, color I find great, original condition, disadvantage – far away, great availability of same models, long time to the H-mark.http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… 3. Coupe WTL advantage – I love the thick cheeks, color for Porsche fully ok, seems to be first-class condition. Only 4 years to the H-mark. Disadvantage – far away, with BJ 84 if I am properly informed yet not the better transmission.http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… 4. Targa BJ 75 Now another variant of a classic. Advantage, now already an oldie with H-mark, in reachable vicinity (Germany) disadvantage – old, no original paint, no real history, accident-free unknown, long stood. But as an alternative to the previous cheaper and the difference could be stuck in repairs or restoration.http://c gi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… So, now I’m interested in your opinion on the points of purchase price, value retention, value appreciation looks and resellability if you need a bit of coal for something else. I’m curious.
