Now he’s at the door…
Moin, So … after I bought my little car on Saturday … I picked it up today. A little report about it. *Biep Biep Biep* I also wake up, look at the clock… already 5:15 o’clock ?! Well … must be, today we go to Bad Homburg to pick up the car. At 5:45 o’clock I am at the institute, quickly get a cappucchino and wait for my uncle. He has … self-declaredly … first 10 minutes late. At 6:15 o’clock it goes on the A45 direction Frankfurt. Totales Shitwedda over the country and in the Sauerland it rains once as usual twine. And although still very early, a traffic is like I don’t know what … there is somewhere something for free ?! So we don’t get ahead like no other to expect. At 15 to 8th, actually the time where I wanted to be in Bad Homburg … we just leave the Gambacher cross … and rush into the traffic jam. Painfully slowly we get ahead … but at 8:45 we finally arrived at the seller. The stupid d aran, the car is 20 minutes away in an underground garage. When we drill the holes in the signs … and tie them to the car … it is already so late that I actually wanted to be in Giessen long ago. Well, engine on … and slowly stacked up … left off direction refuel, fill the tank completely, thanks to the previous owner I still got about 25 liters in it. First shock … the oil lamp flashes … look into the manual … oil level should be too low … controlled … well.. In the workshop next to just a 1/4L of oil purchased … and pure … flashing eats away … thank God. On the way to Giessen … it’s already an hour later than planned … but good. On the first 10 minutes I’m almost mad … eats there a noise … no … eats not. Slowly I believe in my car and it goes on the A45 direction Giessen. 110 … car is good … 120 car is good … all clear … The next 40 km is going to Giessen with 120 … then on the south cross towards Marburg. 15 minutes later we arrived at Mr. Eicher from ETG-Giessen. We talk something, Mr. Eicher controls the essential things on my vehicle and then we drive to the TÜV. There we wait another 3/4 hour, although somehow nothing is going on. Well. Then the car is driven up, everyone looks at the car … and neither oil loss nor a worn out rubber or otherwise what, the unanimous opinion is, the car is good. And it has also been clarified that it is a LeMans, fittingly, Mr. Eicher suspects that he can even help me with a seat. Kat eats there, all numbers are correct. The report is written and my car is now officially a Euro 2 vehicle. Class Mr. Eicher and thanks for your use ! After a short snack it goes back to the A45 direction home. I make slowly, the car really very good and there At 14:55 a.m. we drive from the motorway in Dortmund. At the traffic light just before my work I let off the 160 horses for a short time. Victim is a Passat 2.0 TDI on the spot. I drive by car into the underground garage from the institute and have to find out … cursed … so dark here … light out. Watt is broken ?! light switch stands on … but no light. A bit looked … jau … light switch now the car is at the bottom … I am here on the computer and I think I have done the right thing. Achja … 9.67L on 100 km means the billing in Dortmund. Dangers … neat and quiet … just as I always drive … try the push with just two three times. On that I can set myself up, that is optimal. Well then until morning or Sunday … then photos are handed over Since I have no desire or photoaparat for this now. Greeting Kester

Buying advice 911
Evening on the other hand, my wife and I are looking for a leisure car. Since for inexplicable reasons the business result is good and I do not have to / can identify VAT., we would like to get a used 996 or even 993 convertible. Condition: less than 70,000 km, from PZ (are near the PZ Bonn), price: low :-), so below € 45T EUR. Now my question: Does a 993 sense? Mr. Schneider from the PZ said that the workshop costs for the 993 were significantly higher than for the 996. Numerous opinions are asked. Dear greetings from Rheinbach Loecki

Porsche kauf
Hello, I come from the clk forum. I intend to buy a porsche in the medium term. except that it is a child’s dream that I want to fulfill, I have hardly had anything to do with this brand so far. my price concept is up to 25 ́ current and I don’t want to buy “morrow” either. I also want to acquire the maximum “newest” model for the price situation. it can’t be a pure two-seater, since our son (13) wants to ride a little bit before he wants his own way. ht. space as such does not matter, but must be given, no more. is there someone in the porsche forum who “enlightens” me a bit? as I said, I am still completely ignorant and wanted to inform myself in advance.

Don’t start…
Moin people, yesterday my little one disappointed me a little for the first time. Around 8 pm I drove to my sister. Car starts and drives quite normally. No problem at all. I fill up briefly and continue my drive to my sister. At her arrived short discussion and then briefly to buy a tank, some drinks. Also here … car starts and drives as usual. Cirka 2 hours later … I wanted to drive home. Now the shock. Electricity seems to be there enough. It seems as if the engine doesn’t get petrol. So there’s a question … petrol pump, DME relay, DME itself or, if there is a crash sensor ? Because my instructions for use are 50 km away from me … so the first question … is there something like this with the 924S from 1988, if yes, where and how to disable it ? Otherwise it could also be on the fuse for the petrol pump … is the fuse in the safe place … ngskasten, or is the petrol pump secured separately (Where ???) ? What would the alternatives be ? A starter that does not track … or no spark, in the latter, could be next to the DME still the ignition coil or what the following defect, whereby distributor cap and fingers were completely renewed last year. What can be responsible for such a spontaneous error ? If it should be important … the right headlight does not work and has a “weak”. has probably happened when changing the wiper water pump. Suggestions and or solutions ?! Greeting Kester

My Cayman is on the ship…
Hi, I got the message today that my Cayman S is on the ship. At the same time I get the not so great news for me that I don’t need to hope to pick up the car in Stuttgart before the end of July… The steamer doesn’t need two weeks until he is here? What are they doing with the car in Stuttgart? Will you just drive… Does anyone have any idea why this will take so long? Cu Frank
