  • Rear window heating

Hi, I have a question for those who know the electrics and so on. This morning the 11 was very icy. I turned on the rear window heating and it ran quite well. So after a short time almost everything was defrosted. But in 2 places it looked as if the wires were somehow not heating (there were 2 long strips over). I can also be mistaken from the inside but it looked definitely as if there was still frost in the 2 places and that was the whole thing. Now my question: If the wires are switched “in line” or somehow “parallel”, don’t know how else to put it. So, if a wire is broken or severed, then everyone doesn’t heat any more and it’s a chain reaction or can it be that individual ones can fail, but the rest still works? Thanks for the advice in advance! Have a nice evening still…

  • on a cigarette length

after a boring half week ,on a bed fessled by a strong flu ,somehow found on this forum and read various threads I have to make some air. my first porsche acquired 1994 (sc 3.0 204 ps,Indian red) ,my 2nd 1999 (carrera 3.2 231ps,black) my 3rd 2002 (964 C2 250ps, night blue) ,since quite exactly 2 years I have now a 997 4S 355ps,black) was and is still my dream car,no more and no less , should jem and my seat is faster than a porsche , I find it a bit surprising, should someone want to buy a porsche , because he has never kissed a woman at 27 , I find that sad for him and it affects me , should someone need a s card of porsche to come to the p1 I find it funny ,but young times quite honestly what you are doing here for a circus around your kfz is far from good and bad . I think here write to 90% gentlemen beyond the 40 , who now her 911er in the garage have, terrace house is already paid off,the school time was probably a bit unpleasant, the greatest was you never, well yes the best woman you did not get, well yes what should you have yes the porsche home which is polished the whole we, should times the disk wiper clamps you can talk about here, with the usual suspicious, woe here ventures sometimes a place uninformed into the great forum,or someone who is once in the middle 20 and is already such a great aut o has or is in the process of buying one, this is not possible here at all, since you have to punch for 20 years for in chair until you can afford that. Whether Porsche probably people with such a narrow limited horizon in his cars want to doubt, if you look at the advertising so. A little tolerance towards his fellow human beings has not harmed yet envy and disgust are only signs of self-doubts I know enough Porsche drivers, which have absolutely nothing on him r vehicle imagining as well as I do. By the way, my 911er is often week-long confused by outside,if car cares is not everything,my girlfriend doesn’t care,I prefer to go out with her and play with her afterwards, instead of dealing with the polishing machine. Just my 2 cents

  • Buying advice Cayman

Hello people, for years I dream of a Porsche since I have always liked the form of the sound of Porsche sports car best but I am when it goes into detail not without a true car-provi, so you could perhaps help me further or strengthen me in my purchase wishes. What I imagine. -Porsche Cayman S -Year of construction from 2006 -Price up to approx. 40000 -Colours Outside Black or White Inside Black -Xenon Headlights -(min.)18inch rims -Klim aautomatik -sports seats My questions about it. -the ca. maintenance of such a car (taxes ect)? -Where should I buy such a car ? -would the warranty extension be worthwhile? -Are there any “diseases” that often occur at the Cayman? -Should I buy a winter car to spare it (your opinion). If you have any more questions I should ask myself she writes to me or tells me what else I should think of. I am very happy about your help and hope he will help me. r can continue to help me.

  • 911 SC no longer starts when engine warms

Hello A buddy from the club still has a 911 SC year 1980, in which a 3.2l engine from the year 84-86 is installed, exactly he does not know it. I myself am also not a Porsche specialist, know me mainly with Subaru. So now to the problem, if you have driven with the car and everything is really warm, the engine can not start any more, the starter turns only very slowly, as if the battery would have been discharged, but after a time when everything has cooled down the engine jumps What could that be, has someone ne idea where to start looking for, perhaps a mass problem? Or is that a disease and you can look at a particular place? Dear greetings from Luxembourg Alex

  • Cayenne Diesel Upgrade: Diesel S or GTS

How is your opinion on the following question: Drive a Cayenne FL Diesel (is now 7 months old – 10Tkm). The car is only used privately and especially for WE-excursions/sports/holiday trips, therefore the space is needed (=unfortunately the 991 is therefore no option for this use). Actually a great car, but I have some fun. I think about an upgrade to the S Diesel or to buy a petroler again. With the petroler the GTS would be in question. What do you mean? How big is the difference? Does the GTS really make much more fun – does SPortwagenfeeling come up? Do I become a gas station long-term guest? Even I will not test the cars until July (just don’t have time before). I can then report.

  • Naughty PZ ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello, was at the weekend in PZ near Cologne. I was forced to move a carrera S 20 min alone over the country road. I had not driven a Porsche before, max PS car was S 600 and A8 S gedรถns (everything child stuff as I now know). I had tears of luck in my eyes as the speed limiter used in the 4 gear. THAT IS MY AUTO I said to the 911 and the spoiler after the species-appropriate trip to the far too nice seller of the super nice PZ and gave him me a Honda key back – he noticed it unfortunately ๐Ÿ™ It is an absolute impudence to give me such a vehicle because: -The grinning from my face does not disappear -May now have its own 911 – my last wish for this life!!!!!!!! -Who pays for my house? -Who buys my BMW R1150 Rockster? -Can one take a dog with 50 cm shoulder height permanently in the Porsche (even after a walk in the woods- must be)? -Can one drive with him at the customer without the order directly to -Can man have such a fun with nem 911 with less than 385 hp??? Only now I understand at the age of 38 why man (only few women really understand it) must love Porsche with some gasoline in his blood – this chassis, feedback, sound, acceleration……!!! Congratulations to all 911 owners and drivers – Honor and care for your artworks, they are worth it

  • 911 Revival? 911 classic was yesterday….

…here comes the 911 made by Singer Vehicle Design picture gallery and video with sound, here:http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…-911-classic-war-gester-t2419955.html Singer VD revives the 911 in the most old-school form. Initially presented as a prototype, it is to be produced later in a small series. It is based on the 911 from the 70s and 80s. However, the chassis is completely new. Singer Design calls its own vehicle concept: “celebration of the golden air-cooled era of the world’s most important sports car.” freely translated: “The celebration of the golden Lufti era of the world’s largest sports car”. Apart from its Vintage-911 case, there is little antique to discover under the dress. The raw car was stiffened everywhere and lined with lightweight materials (e.g. steel panels replaced by carbon materials. etc.). Thus, even the windscreen wiper arrangement a la 993 was shifted to the center. Further features are e.g. an Eibach sports suspension, a brake system of 930 and Brembo, specially manufactured 3-part, forged 17″ aluminium fox rims and even modern Bi-Xenon headlights. Traction control and even Launch Control are optional. For more press-on pressure there is a front lip and a light rear brush at the rear. Under the hood works a modified ventilated 3.8 litre 6-cylinder boxer motor from the 993 in combination with 6 individually manufactured throttle flaps. Together with a 997GT3 crankshaft, GT3 Dry sump lubrication and GT3 plugs and a 993 6-speed transmission bring it the engine to max. 8000 rpm. The data: 425hp, 460NM, 1090kg, incl. 0-100: 3.9 seconds, V-Max: 275km/h. Singer calls the retro paint combination itself “Racing Orange”. Barrier-differential, carbon coupling and a stainless steel exhaust system are also standard. The car thus has a better power to weight ratio than a 997 GT3 RS! The retro optics is constantly followed inside, but also here with eyes A lightweight air conditioning system is just as standard as a high-quality audio system with navigation, ipod and Bluetooth connectivity. The car is aimed at 911 fans who can no longer identify with the look and feel of the newer 911 vehicles and who want a vehicle that can revive both the original 911 driving feeling from the Ur-Lufti-Era or even high2 and yet high reliability and even some modern Annehm The price is not yet known. Horny floor ! P.S. Presentation of the Singer 911 in the video above from 2:40min
