I would be interested in what you as a Porsche driver generally do for a driving style and how you classify yourself in this respect compared to other road users. Porsche drivers do not generally enjoy the reputation of being one of the more accommodating road users, but this often looks the other way around in reality (keyword: representative diesel). Depending on the attitude, one can understand quite different things by a “quiet driving style” Which possibilities do you use to drive out the car or to move it in a real way? Rather the famous Sunday morning on the BAB/ country road or sometimes a racetrack visit? By the way, there is a survey on speed crossings and personal limits here: Survey: How fast do you really drive?

to the 944 S2…
Hello guys, sometimes a question or two about the 944 S2. What is the characteristic of the drive like? Is this rather a speed or torque device? Is the transmission rather short or long? What kind of consumption do you have to expect with moderate driving mode? I mean, with 3 liters spread over 4 cylinders it can hardly really lack steam in all life situations. But who has one and can report what? Have not looked at or driven one yet. Background would be that I mean Tractor up to the next TÜV (or bitsl later…) wants to get rid of and what wants to buy, with which one can expect again with relatively little trouble, the part however better to go around the corner. Now I am just thinking, MX-5 would be my favorite, but among other things the 944 would be worth a consideration. My 626 (toller comparison, I know…) attracts just in the 4th gear from 1000 rpm on (for his 90hp). Not that I would be so averse to a rotary organ, but steam from below I like already a uch. Thanks & Greetings, Brucklyn

928 Problem
Hello dear Porsche specialists. My new passion for her first suffering. No different to expect at a Porsche 928S year 1980. But that’s also why I bought it. ;o)Situation: 1000m after starting yesterday a pressure drop when accelerating uphill ended my sun trip. I still came home (mountain with stand gas), but now strange things happen when starting. After studying in this forum I quickly refilled 0W40 Mobil1 oil, since last week I had filled up n liters 15W40 (according to the manufacturer) to dilute the oil again. Beginner’s error…Analysis: Engine can be started without problems. Battery, rev indicator and tank indicator move rhytically up and down, the engine runs restlessly and goes out after a while. In the rear of the vehicle is a permanently audible noise of a small running engine (similar window cleaning nozzle motor). After that, the noise was gone. However, when the next start and drive of 5 meters is back again. Safe for the antenna removed, noise remains. Safes for windscreen wipers at the rear, removed, air filter cleaned at the front, noise remains. Safe for the fuel pump removed. Engine does not start. The more often you start the engine, the longer it stays on, but still does not run round. Cause of error: I hope one or the other has pity on me and can help me. fen. The weather is so nice and I would rather drive the car outside or repair it than look for the faults on the PC. Thank you very much, Heiko

The other day at the Porsche dealer’s…
… inspired by the new Porsche TV advertising I would be interested to know if you dare to treat your Porsche dealer as much as it is in advertising (little boy comes to the showroom and is asked to sit in a Porsche). Please don’t praise “Porsche” … quite honestly I would like answers … poetry or truth? Hmm?

996 4S Cabrio: Pro and Contra!?
Hello together! At the moment, just after a (for me) perfect 996 4S convertible. Black, inside black or beige, no phone listener, few kilometers, hand-operated (tips drive my mother) It’s price-wise that you have to scroll over 70,000,-. To the optics let’s say: De gustibus non est disputandum. What really interests me, however, is whether from experience there are any serious disadvantages with the 996 4S Cab.? Thank you for the answers. Smart in the Ci Ty, Porsche in the country!

996 4s Purchase – Question
Hello dear Porsche fans, I (28) have been a Porsche fan since the kindergarten time and soon I would like to do something good for myself. It should be a 996 4S in silver. No more than 50,000 EUR he can cost. The whole thing is partly financed. Well I have already read a lot here about financings and you make a real courage… Well if not in young years when then? Anyway: I wanted to ask you what you would prefer: Handschaltung (6 gears ! ) or the Tiptronic (5 gears ……….). I know it’s a sports car, so you should choose the handshift, but I already drove it with the Tiptronic and that was just as fun. Only what is more durable? Are there any problems with the Tiptronic at some point? Is there something known? By the way, my friend on Tiptronic exists so she can also drive… !?!!? *autsch* AND there would be a question: There was also a lot here about this “simmering” discu That sounds almost like you could get ready for the new engine to be installed if the good piece has its 80.000km down. That wouldn’t be very similar…. fun to say the least. What’s that part exactly? (I don’t have a plan of the technology 😉 And in general, is the 4S to be recommended? What do you pay so much for insurance? I am currently driving at about 30% Kasko, I don’t know exactly now, no matter. Are the Unters so many questions. Thank you who makes the trouble and answers me. Greetings from the Palatinate, Maik

Porsche cars way too heavy
Hello together, in my opinion, the models of Porsche are all too heavy. A manufacturer, who calls himself a sports car forge, should remember what driving fun and agility means. It can’t be that even the so-called GT models like GT3 and GT2 are beyond 1100 kg of curb weight. Where is the progress in terms of weight? In the 70s the carrera rs 2.7 weighed between 980 kg and 1080 kg of today’s GT3 almost 1400 kg. Do you actually have an opinion on the subject?

Macan demand accident Berlin
Hello Porsche friends, I have a question for you about the accident of the Macan in Berlin. I drive Audi / Beetle and Golf 4 myself and as soon as I step on the brake during the ride my vehicles then take away the gas since the introduction of the e-gas, or ignore the accelerator pedal. Now I have heard that with some Porsche it is so that you can press gas and brake at the same time. Background is the published Dash Cam video of the accident in Berlin. There you can see and hear the Macan besc With my Audi or Beetle this maneuver would not be possible. Is this solved differently with Porsche or Macan? Thank you for your information in order to eliminate my ignorance.

Rebuild license plate holder on Switzerland?
Hello people, the front plate holder is known to be bigger in the EU than in Switzerland. I see it more often in Switzerland that the small plate holder is simply mounted on the big one. Is this for convenience of the owner or is it not better? What hides behind the black holder? Is the part fixed with 4 screws (see picture) to the bumper (then it won’t work)? mfg grani
