  • Porsche with Tiptronic in winter

Good evening together, since it will soon be quite cold again and the first winter with a Porsche 996 is at the door I wanted to ask a little bit about who is driving with the Porsche in winter with snow here? I already have a feeling a little bit, since I have no idea at all how an automatic car drives on snow? Is a Carrera 4. Can I imagine, however, that the constantly attached torque makes the thing a bit more difficult. Turn D into N and back again or shouldn’t you do that to love the gearbox?

  • Survey: How satisfied were you with your Porsche in 2014?

The year is almost around again and hopefully there is an accident-free and exciting driver year behind you. As in previous years, we would like to take stock at the end of the year and ask you how you came through the year 2014 with your mobile kit. Was everything to your satisfaction or were there worries and annoyances with your vehicle or the service of the manufacturer? How satisfied were you in 2014 with your Porsche? He surveyed and commented on your praise or criticism. We have a direct connection to many manufacturers and the manufacturers also read on MOTOR-TALK. That’s why your opinion comes exactly where it should land: at Porsche.

  • Cayenne Turbo GASUMbau

Hello car friends! I’m new to the forum and have already read in on various topics but unfortunately not found the right answers. I’m looking for information regarding “GASUMBAU” for my Cayenne Turbo. – How high are the installation prices? – Can someone who either drives a “rebuilt” or has converted Cayenne Turbos tell me his experiences and opinions about it? Would you be grateful about any helpful answer, as I will soon be able to to consider. Greetings from Austria

  • Incompetence at the Stuttgart Airport PZ

I bought my new car in the above-mentioned PZ and also paid for a conversion of the steering wheel, so that it has the colour of the interior (the steering wheel heating and multi-function should stay natural and was so arranged). Then I noticed that a software for the multi-function steering wheel was missing. When I brought the car there next time the software was to be installed and the steering wheel rebuilt. After I picked up the car the color of the steering wheel was ok, but the The software was still missing and the master acted as if he didn’t know what I was talking about. He even had the cheekiness to say that the steering wheel heating was already broken from factory. I know for sure that it was going before. So a new appointment was made for the software to be installed and the steering wheel heating to be repaired. After this appointment it looks like this: the steering wheel heating is still not working. Besides, I have now even no longer a multifunction steering wheel and the steering wheel is black again. They say they have damaged a part of the airbag and now a simple black steering wheel without everything installed. Spare parts are only available in the middle of Nov.. Great! I was far better off there before I brought the car to them! I did not hear an apology or similar. The master emphasized that I would not have any damage, because it was on guarantee. (by the way I already got an invoice for the replacement car) Ädige things on my car and I shouldn’t have any harm? With this thread, I want to not only express my displeasure, but also warn of a PZ that -incompetent is – impolitely demands at its customers’ prices, which I can’t understand

  • Survey: How satisfied were you with your Porsche in 2011?

The year is slowly coming to an end, it’s time to raise the winter tires again. We hope you’ve come through the year with your mobile kit so far! And to find out if that’s the case, we want to start a small survey again in 2011. As every year, the manufacturers have done a lot to interest us drivers in their products and services and to satisfy their customers. But: How satisfied were you with your car completely subjectively ? Or with the service that every car needs every now and then? So: How was it, your personal car year 2011? Since most manufacturers not only regularly read along on MOTOR-TALK, but are also in contact with us, we are going with the survey result as well as your praise and your criticism in the comments aimed at the manufacturers. Therefore, in the comments, what you liked about Porsche in general and your Porsche in particular in 2011, what is even better and what is better anyway? He wasn’t so dazzling!

  • HIlFE – my nightmare with Porsche 996 Turbo and Porsche Darmstadt

Two years ago I bought a 996 turbo at the Porsche Autohaus in Darmstadt. The car was second hand with 68000 km and costs 52000 € Unfortunately, the most reliable car in the world became a nightmare for me. First I was delivered the car with 10 years old and defective tires, these flew almost around my ears during the first longer car ride on the way to Hamburg …. Overall I was towed three times, invested more than 12000 € in repairs, now I was told that the Turbo will soon say goodbye – when I tried to find a solution with the management of the Porsche Autohaus in Darmstadt – they offered me 1800€ as payment when buying an alternative car. 40 000!!!! Euro value destruction – Who has for me a tip, an idea – what can I do??? Thank you for your suggestions, thoughts.

  • 911/ Cayman in winter?

Hello together, now the winter is over and I come with such a topic In the archive I unfortunately did not really find out and therefore would like to ask the “community” here. How are concrete experiences of the 911 and Cayman riders on snow (with good M+S tyres)? Certainly due to the drive and engine concept there is already a lot of power [Fg] on the drive axle, but the wide wheels relativize the whole thing something, don’t you think? ch? How do these cars beat each other in comparison with “normal” front- and rear-drivers in wintery conditions? Would I be happy about helpful answers Greeting M.

  • Electronic helpers in a Porsche: What really makes sense?

Hello, since many electronic aids have been standard in almost all cars for years now, one wonders of course what the Porsche Purist really needs. “ABS”, “ESP”, or how to write this specific to the brand, are mandatory everywhere, but what about the steering and suspension aids? Does an adaptive suspension really make sense in a Cayman or 911er? Does one need from the servo steering, which is anyway a series, to have a further developed steering for driving pleasure? At least with the adapt I can imagine the advantages with very bad roads, which are now almost the rule in Germany. Does anyone have this in a 911 or Cayman? Is that great??? When steering, I think you don’t need it. Have such a “sport steering” in my BMW, which reacts differently depending on the speed. Due to the far too large servo support, it is generally less sporty than in older BMW. Michael
