Since an electronic component is missing during assembly (from Japan!!), the rear-view camera is without function during delivery (26.8). A subsequent installation of the module takes place in the PZ about a month later and then brings the camera to life! Did you experience it like that?

Which ass do you find more beautiful? 996 4s vs. 997 4s
Hello everybody, I would be interested to see how the new 4s lightband comes to you visually. In the 996 the lightband was the optical treats with the wide butt at all. Now in the forums it is already asked if you can leave the lightband as an option when ordering 997 4s. I’m looking forward to your opinions. Greetings 4s996

Crash tests of Porsche models?
Hello, are the Porsche experts known among you for independent crash tests of Porsche models?http://www.euroncap.com/roadster_sports.aspx The results would certainly be interesting, because e.g. in the 911er the rear engine continues its movement impulse forward in a frontal collision and thus the passenger cell has to intercept the kinetic energy of the engine in addition to its own weight. On the other hand, the free space in front of the passenger cell offers more possibilities for a defined deformation as with a car with front motor. A problem is possibly the front tank, which is then in the middle of the deformation zone. The fact that Porsches are generally regarded as very safe is not new, but has the passive safety really been tested somewhere under comparable conditions? Crashtest advertising 986 Greetings

Porsche & Klaas
Do you know the advertising series… ?https://less-rotation-more-torque.de/ Something unusual for Porsche, or whether it’s so “suitable” ? Just make it different, because you can “allow” it?

Porsche Macan GTS Difference 2.9 and 3.0
Hello Porsche friends, I have a question about the difference between the new 2.9L and the old 3.0L? The new one has 20 hp more. Might be the Audi engine. Was the 3.0 also an Audi engine? Is there more detailed information about the respective engines where you came from and what Porsche did about it? Which one is more robust or better? Thanks for many information. Nobody could give me an answer so far. Greetings Alex

Porsche under the roof of VW
So I wanted to start a small survey here on the subject: Do you think something great changes after the takeover of Porsche by VW? For me (even as a non-Porsche driver but a big Porsche fan), this takeover loses a big piece of independence of the brand (as with all other VW brands). I would probably not buy a new Porsche anymore (even if I could), because for me now just this unique Cha I have the fear that Porsche will slowly become an 08/15 VW brand and that the cars will become just as emotionless and boring as the other VWs…

Emergency Gearbox Cayenne Diesel
Day together. Maybe one can help me further… I bought a 2012 Cayenne Diesel, which was only waiting for Porsche a week ago (220,000km). A few days without problems short distance, then drive to Spain, where it is to be registered. After 1,500 km trouble-free run comes the message “Griebe Emerglauf”, but the gaiebe works quite normally all the gears up and down. I turn off the engine, again, everything paletti. I typed on either pure false alarm or much slightly low oil level in the transmission (should be changed at 240tkm according to the maintenance plan), because errors only occurred after long driving. After arrival and a little short distance (was everything cold again) message comes back, but now always and also in connection with moror control light (only increased idle speed, drives and switches normal). Question: With the error picture someone has a guess? As said before and after perfect clean switching, no jerking, nothing. Should I go to Porsche for reading out error memory, or exchange the first time on suspicion control units for a few thousand euros 🙂 Although here have a workshop with really good “old” mechanics, who can still disassemble engines and have my full confidence, do not believe that the e.g. error memory can read out from the thing … Maybe not a good idea, when the “first open and look”?? Thanks for your help!!

cayenne s(955) Problems ! (electric)
Hello guys, I had created a thread yesterday, but it was a bit inaccurate I’m sorry again, here the topic again and a bit more accurate. So my cayenne S 4.5 was standing a few weeks in the driveway. I wanted to start it yesterday morning, there came a beeps noise and following errors welcomed me (Zündschloss defective, brake force distribution, air suspension). I folded the driver’s seat back and looked sometimes. I discovered under foot mat water as I experienced have this with this model series a disease. After I then wiped up the water and so far dried up, I removed the battery and put it on the charger. This morning he stood then on green so I then made the battery again everything professional and tried it again, but again nothing. I then read something of oxidized cables but found nothing suspicious. I urgently need help where I still do something with the thing finally wied he runs I thank you in advance.
