  • Envy factor Porsche?

Servus dear Porsche municipality, I’m currently driving a BMW 335i, which is a lot of fun for me. Unfortunately, the lack of processing quality bothers me more and more. Knaring and squeaking, loudly closing exhaust flaps, rusty wheel suspension and and and and… So when I change the vehicle in a good 12 months I want to look around and think about the new, lifted Cayman. I hope I can hope for more quality at Porsche. But: What something like this for me I am self-employed (freelancing individual fighter) and I have to listen to one or the other stupid comment because of my simple 3 Series BMW. I usually value it as envy or non-gone. I’m afraid it will get worse with a Porsche. Personally, it’s me, but I don’t want to screw up any customers either. What’s your experience on this topic?

  • 911 as “victims” of representative bowls??

In another thread I read this: a customer of mine has nine 911 (997 4s). His wife always loved to drive the car. But that’s over for some time. He told me that his wife was increasingly pushed by the representative cars a la vw passat, opel, mercedes, bmw or a6. So I ask myself, how does this come about? Sure, by now every Papamobile is driving well over 200 and better motorized 3s and A4 are already very sporty. Nevertheless, the 911er should be able to drive through a Or does it take more courage on a curvy highway (e.g. A45 Sauerlandline) than in a three-way with a sports suspension to exploit the potential of the car? Does the 911 give you perhaps less sense of safety in a fast motorway curve? I have my 997 since September, but there was no opportunity to test it on the A45 by myself.

  • Approved when changing coverings

Hello, I plan to change the windows + blocks myself with my Porsche Cayenne because I am a trained car driver, now to the question, I have currently still used car warranty and want to finish the approved. Do the wear parts play a role ?

  • Long-term experience 996 3,4-300PS

Hello Porsche friends, at the moment the first 996 models seem to have arrived at a low price, so I think about buying one of the first water-cooled ones! How are the experiences with the stability of the 3,4 L engines here. The most offered 996 around Bj 2000 have km stands of 140-180.000 km with the first engine. There are no AT engines of Porsche and in case of damage will be a motor revision with then required original parts in relation to the vehicle This is why I have so far been advised not to purchase such a model! But if you look at the 997 models, these similar km stands and usually cost twice as much as the Porsche Purist-smowed 996 series with the mirror eyes… Are there experience values with running times over 180,000 km here in the forum? The models I favored have Tiptronic, so the engines have been switched on a bit more gently and can not have been overturned. I had tried one of these (from 2000 with 145,000 km) and was actually positively surprised, how close he can get to the 991 in terms of comfort and agility. The price was less than 17,000,- € and was already sold the next day. (My 93er 964 he is a completely different world, but you don’t always want that!) I would be happy about your experiences and assessments… Greeting Horst

  • Prospects for Porsche

Lt. Press release, sales of Porsche vehicles have fallen by about 20% and 50% in the USA due to the current economic situation and the prospects for the future in Germany. Will this be a problem for Porsche as in 1991, when Porsche was on the “kippe” ? (sometimes the time is over when “other” (financial) deals with Porsche will be made at Reibach!)

  • How does the new model (991) affect used car prices 997?

That nobody can know, is clear to me – but perhaps someone would like to make an estimate – maybe you know this from previous model changes. I plan next year the purchase of a 997 from 2005. Will the model change be strong or hardly noticeable? Greeting Tony

  • Boxster S (981) as an everyday vehicle?

Hello, I’m just about to make a car decision, either a 435i convertible or my first Porsche, a Boxster S. My wife drives a more practical, large car, which is also necessary for two children. I drive about 20,000 km a year. A second car for me (so a third car altogether) is honestly too expensive for me (I wouldn’t want to drive a car as a third car too). The question is, is the 981 a sensible everyday vehicle? My neighbor has to go after four weeks. his R8 bought a GTI because it only annoyed him to drive with the Audi through the city, or to the car park or to travel longer distances on the highway. What are your experiences?

  • Porsche Boxster when is the next generation coming? 2019? Dealer thinks it’s coming second Facelift 19

Hello together, after the 911er already some Erlkönige are on the road and probably doubtless no later than 2019 or rather 2018 with a new edition can be expected at the Porsche Boxster at present nothing in sight. So far there are no Erlköniger pictures to the Boxster of the next generation. From dealers one hears contradictory statements. There is the talk of the 718 is a new independent model and had nothing to do with the 981. Therefore it is only 2024 with a new model to calculate If so, it would be logical to go down the position of the boxster a bit (see also 4cylinders). However, it could also be a marketing strategy to encourage some to purchase, which would otherwise wait for the model to appear in two years’ time. I have heard from a dealer that it was already openly communicated by Porsche that there will be a further facelift of 718. It is certain that there will not be a facelift of 718 for the time being. Only the 911 would be renewed. Do you know anything closer to the subject?

  • Purchase decision 997 Turbo

Hello dear community, there would have been a question to the 997 turbodrivers among you. To the background, for a long time I drove a 996 4s, when I sold this last year and changed to a 997 carrera 4s, now the new decision is coming up….. because I sold my 997 C4s a few days ago. Now I have looked around a little and would attract for a long time a turbo improbably, but there are still so certain doubts. Question, how high is your average consumption, which is also decisive for me, because I drive about 40000 km with it in the year…… what about the service costs in contrast to a 4s, are they significantly higher? How since you satisfied with your turbos, what should you pay attention to with a used one? were there any actions, or problems in certain types? Would you access a new one, or a factory car, because I have an offer for a the new one, where I am currently fighting with the colors Maccadamia or Basaltschwarz with me……the other would be the factory car The factory car is from 12/2007 with 12000km however in Indian red, which I personally like very much, but the seller would like to talk me out, since Indian red at the moment would be one of the worst colors, if it was about the resale, which is of course also important for me, because I will sell it again at the end of next year. However, the price would be great, because the factory car is fully equipped and would cost € 102,000. Would also be grateful for any help 911 Best regards Thomas
