  • Summer Toy Boxster – search for arguments

A former student colleague (same age as me … somewhere between BurnOut, Midlife-Crisis and heart attack) is looking for a summer toy. After the children are out of the house, a two-seater without a roof is enough – but with sufficient luggage compartment, that you can drive to the WE. There are about 30 k€ available. After there is a whole bunch of possibilities in the room (Z4, MR2, MX5, etc.) I try to convince him of a “small Zuffenhausener”. Maybe you can help me and provide me with some convincing arguments. TIA, Tom

  • Which new Xenon burners for Porsche Boxster 987 bj 05

Hello Porsche Fans Would like to buy new Xenon burners for my Porsche Boxster S, the old ones are far too yellowish for me. At ebay there are günstge burners, but the what? or which brand could you recommend to me. White light would be my favorite. On occasion I would also exchange the stand lights, nebulizers, it should fit the overall picture. Greeting Matthias

  • Configuration black/backlights black?

I ordered my Cayenne Diesel last week and can now change it. Basically I want an elegant, decent, not a motty car. Therefore I ordered black with fullheather outside and only 19″. If the 19″ should appear too small, I take it for the winter. With the 20″ I don’t like any so right and 21″ I don’t seem decent enough again. Originally I wanted black Reeling and black outer strips etc., but somehow the silver belongs to the m car, especially the aperture on the tailgate. I thought about whether I should maybe take the darkened taillights, but I am not sure if this does not look too “tuned”. The problem is that I haven’t seen anyone with the lights, neither at the dealer nor on the road. Does someone have the configuration black/silver ledges with the dark taillights and could send me a picture to my PIN or in the topic – that would be great!

  • Vehicle shuts down 3 seconds after battery plug everything off

Hello, I would like to help a friend who currently has the following problem: Vehicle: Porsche Panamera 3.0 Model 970, Diesel Key-Nr. 0583 AEV First registration: 26.02.2013 The vehicle opens and closes via the remote control, but if you turn the ignition key over, nothing happens, no matter which stage, everything remains dead. If you plug the key now with the ignition switched on and the battery plugs off and plugs again, everything goes on in the cockpit for about 3 seconds, ohh e Error messages etc. and after that everything goes out. Since you cannot perform such a diagnosis, he currently does not know any advice. In the workshop (not Porsche, but also the workshop of my trust), relays, cables, fuses, ECUs have already been checked. The engine control unit was also sent for repair on suspicion, with the result that everything is fine. Does anyone have any idea what to consider next?

  • Change brake blocks Porsche Cayenne

good evening happy porsche drivers a well-known of me has a porsche cayenne with the “small” 6 cylinder petrol engine the brake blocks must be renewed in front have looked through the rim and seen that the brake saddle is already a bit bigger than the focus, astra, golf etc. my question is now how can I change the brake blocks ??? I’m a trained kfz mechanic just want to get tips from porscheschraubern before I need to get me some spez ialtool or enough a torque key,7mm imbus, screwdriver and tool to push back the pistons (my saw that he has two) or are turned back like usual, if yes left or right winch already thank you for your answer and am already a bit jealous that in my garage is not so cute.

  • Water temperature display

Hello together… Does anyone know how / where you can eliminate / turn off this stupid VW typical “driver calming” of the water temperature indicator? Like all cars from Skoda to Audi, this remains at 90 degrees, probably in order not to worry the driver that the water boils at 100 degrees 🙂 Only in case of a defect, when the water temperature rises above 120 degrees, the correct value, together with an inflammable warning lamp, is indicated. I would like to always have the right value in the Di splay, just like at the oil temperature. Does anyone have experience how to get this done? Thanks in advance…

  • Purchase advice 996

Hello together, my friend and I have been thinking about buying a nice convertible for the summer for some time. After some searching we have set ourselves on the Porsche 911 996. The mileage will amount to a maximum of 3000km per year and the vehicle will be moved exclusively in the summer. We want to spend a maximum of 22k€ because we bought a daily car only in July. Unfortunately for the money you get only VorMopf models with relatively high running performance. Summer is now as good as it is, the thought would be to wait a bit and put aside some money to buy a MoPf next year, if necessary, with less than 125,000km. The fear is that the used car prices are going through the ceiling, as it is unfortunately already the case with most cars. 10 minutes away from us is the following vehicle for sale, which we are looking at this week. I found this offer at AutoScout24.https ://www.autoscout24.de/…/…5b85-5a9c-4c28-b27f-7a07bed85b60?… Price: € 19.900,- Mileage: 183,988 km What is your honest opinion about this or what would you advise me to do? Thank you in advance.

  • Porsche 911 S (991), breaking tail due to low air pressure?

Hello dear porsche driver, is it possible that with a 911 (991) without pre-damage at 300 km/h on dry asphalt the rear suddenly breaks out? could it be due to a little too low ripening air pressure? many thanks for your reviews!

  • 964 in oak-green searched!!

Hello Porsche friends! For some time I’ve been looking for a 964 in oak-green. I know to choose the car for the color is quite half black…. The 964 in this color is however my absolute youth dream, which I would like to fulfill myself. Body shape is secondary, but preferably as a coupe with sliding roof. Mobile, autoscout etc. offer in this respect unfortunately almost nothing. Therefore my attempt about motortalk. If anyone from his cared 964 in oak- Green wants to separate or knows someone who wants to do this, I am very happy about an answer. Best greetings from Westphalia!

  • Cayenne (S) with heavy trailer

Hi guys! Would you like to ask me what it’s like to pull a heavy trailer (about 1.5 – 2 t) with a Cayenne S, but how’s it going with the V6? How’s it going when you don’t have air suspension, is it going to be strong in the back of your knees or is it tolerable? If anyone has any experience with it, I’d like to share it with me. Thank you. Andi P.S.: If someone thinks I should use the search function: Did they use it, do nothing? nd.
