  • Your favourite routes

Hi, I would like to know where you would like to go for a walk or which routes you would recommend within Germany (beautiful landscapes etc.) Where were you already everywhere and would you recommend to go or not again? I am soon on holiday and would like to get to know my latest achievement better and tour diligently. You can also google nice routes but I want to know your opinions/recommendations. Greetings Sylver

  • The other day on the country road..

Hi together! And a very unpleasant topic with which I would like to talk to you. Sunday afternoon, country road, an annoying motorcycle behind me, no traffic. Normal speed on the way and the motorcycle is provocatively close to the back, somewhat accelerated and deutlish over the allowed 100 came and – blue light and Martinshorn. Video motorcycle of the police. Presumably I get a driving ban. But 911er after and chase and to “need” to a speed loss, That’s not the very fine way I would say either. Legally, I think it’s clear, but the ethics and morals of this police officer aren’t perfect either, are they?

  • Switched from M3 to 997?

Hello, I am currently driving a BMW M3 and thinking about changing to the 997. I always liked the 997 and now it is supposed to become a reality. Unfortunately I know relatively little about Porsche and before I buy it, I prefer to ask the pros about My current BMW M3 has a double clutch transmission, which I think is extremely good. The PDK should be equivalent, right? – Is it a question of faith with the 997, whether switch or PDK? – It is best to buy such an expensive car only in Porsc he center with warranty or would a private purchase also be an option? – What should I pay attention to, besides accident-freeness, repainting freedom and a complete history? – Are there certain features that should definitely be on board? – Other things to consider? The 997 should be max. 1 – 2 years old. Now I’m curious! Gruss Frank

  • 997 used-(Cabrio) what to look for before buying?

Hello. I would like to “change” from my R230 to a 997. Already before the purchase of the SL500 , I loved with Porsche-damals still Boxster. At the Boxster I noticed that one can possibly run risk that one acquires a “Kws” candidate….have therefore distanced myself from it and decided for the SL. Also HERE is not everything “gold that shines”. ABC – “Diva” (my so far not) roof leaks cross handlebar problems electronic stacks (heating, radio, sitting climate, telephone…) up to,offens It seems that there are also top cars with children’s diseases: a colleague has a 4 year old Ferrari (sometimes the same as the one I posted in those days) there was a regular drilling of roof structures into the folding roof. So…NUN just my question: What could a 997 convertible contain for problems? Would you like to consider whether I can/want to live with it or buy an R230 Mopf or 231. There you know the stacks of the model and know what you (i) want to live with it or buy a R230 Mopf or 231. (ch) be careful. Thank you very much.

  • Porsche and Managing Director

Hello dear Porsche community, I have a somewhat unusual question today, which I am very interested in. Are there any of you managing directors who are employed by a medium-sized company or are possibly also shareholders? I would like to address these people and ask them if they drive a Porsche as a business car. If not (so if the Porsche is driven privately) I would be interested in what then complements the fleet, so what is then driven on business. I ch hope for active participation Best regards Commander

  • Porsche 911 Carrera 4S – Airbag, seat and ECU problems

Hello, I have a few questions about a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S where I hope you will help me. The problems are as follows: – Airbag: The airbag lamp has been lit for some time. So far, the old workshop could not find the error. – Seat: The electric seat adjustment of the rear seat back does not work anymore. Via the button on the seat, this can no longer be adjusted in the inclination. Also the pre-programmed seat adjustment which via the e Buttons on the door or with the key should work, only goes in the sitting position forward or back. Nothing happens here in the inclination either. – Reading the ECU: After reading the ECU out today, I find the following error codes, which after research in the net do not really tell me anything. Maybe you have more experience here: Car Scanner ELM OBD2 DTC report =================1======================= 1281 Raw code: 000501 ECU: 15. SRS[Archive (inakti v)] Status: Confirmed =================2======================= 41505 Raw code: 00A221 ECU: 17. Dashboard Status: Test failed (current driving cycle), Stands out, Confirmed, Test failed since the last deletion of the error codes (DTC codes) =======================3======================== 0033 Raw code: 000021 ECU: 53. Parking brake[Archive (inactive)] Status: Confirmed Would be great if someone could give me a tip on the individual points.

  • Problem with reverse – Macan GTS

Moin together, I have the following problem: When I put in the reverse gear and then take the foot off the brake, it takes felt 2-3 seconds until the Macan reacts with movement also the gas acceptance finds only delayed satisfied. If I stand down, it rolls even with inserted reverse gear forward. Two times introducing the service did not bring anything. It was refilled only once gear oil – but without any effect. You can’t recreate the phenomenon… H someone here has ever had something similar? Many greetings, Helge

  • Youngtime Porsche Help

Hello, I’m new here this summer and do a 3 year old apprenticeship and would be 3 years for a Porsche Carrera 3.2, a Porsche 3.0 SC or a Turbo? (is probably a little more expensive ). So I come to about 21,000 euros. I get a service car from the company and therefore I want to save for a Porsche. But would the money be enough and can you use it on the track? or is such a youngtime Porsche not worth :/ How about the repairs? Does it still have spare parts? e? Does the engine hold 300’000 or more? And if the repair kits do not go into the five-digit Berreich I can still finance it. How loud are they? and have enough power so 200 hp at the Carrera and the SC sounds so little. So it would really be my first car and I would rather learn to drive than with an almost fully automatic car. Thanks in advance
