  • PCM and iPhone Bluetooth

Hello together. Does anyone have experience with the PCM and Bluetooth with iPhone? My problem is that if I want to listen to music from the ICLOUD media library via Bluetooth that doesn’t work. Works only with titles I have loaded on my iPhone. Is that so normal. Can someone help me there? Thank you in advance.

  • Wheel lock

Help!! I got on my 964 wheel lock and don’t have a key for it. As the car is standing until March, I thought of making a print of the lock and then making a key. Who has done this before? Drilling is not yet possible. I am grateful for every advice. I have already stumbled through the forum but found no satisfactory answer. Greeting Didi

  • Maintenance costs Macan, not insurance and tax

Hello Porsche driver, I’ve been thinking about a Fun SUV for some time now. Because of my job I drive a business bus and my wife a new BMW One. We don’t need an additional vehicle to be forced, but you don’t like it. Actually, I had shot myself on the BMW X4 M 40i, but I’d prefer the Macan as a gasoline driver. I had actually hit the Porsche out of my head, because I’ve heard that Porsche is very expensive in maintenance. As I said, the vehicle would be used little and mostly for short distances. What maintenance costs do the Macan incur and how often? Please do not answer like “who buys a Porsche also has money for the maintenance ” I hope for your help.

  • Macan air suspension really meaningful?

Servus, since I now have to give the final configuration and I am not really further in the decision S vs. S diesel, the friendly person gave me an S diesel with nice equipment over the weekend. He said at 21″ I absolutely should take the air suspension. Now the part also has the air suspension and it is certainly nice to put the 1.5cm deeper, but I feel a significant comfort advantage there, in contrast to the “only” PASM, somehow not. the comfort mode chosen, the car seems to me even rather spongy, but that he, let’s say, irons out floor waves or the like I could not say. Is there somewhere a “magic button” that I did not find? If that still goes to who else or I just spin there, after the praise hymns somehow we say something else or more expected. I like the Sport Plus mode anyway, it then everything seems somehow tighter, tenser and more direct. Somehow the steam is enough, but enthusiasm remains absolutely. Somehow solid, but that can be my current verkac…ter Lancia theme with 550nm torque too and that costs not even half. VG Timo

  • What do you think of this classic 911?

Hello, I am playing very much with the idea of fulfilling a long cherished dream and getting myself a classic 911er. Since I have only dreamed of it so far, I am dependent on expert opinions – especially with regard to an acceptable price. I have a special eye on it (pictures attached). I would be very pleased if one (or more) of you would give me your opinion about this car and what you think is a suitable one. Price is. I have received the following information about the car from the current owner: Porsche 911 S First registration 07/1977 US model 2.7 liter engine with 175 hp fully galvanized chrome model no rust gap dimensions impeccable 5-speed transmission air conditioning heat exchanger stainless steel new chain tensioner new chassis (about 800 km old) new tires (about 3,000 km old) original varnish perfect motor compression What makes me a bit stunned about the car is the combination 911 S, Bj 1977 and the machine with the 175 HP engine. For me somehow doesn’t sound like matching numbers. Basically, I wouldn’t care if this is taken into account in the price. Well, I’ll be surprised what the experts here mean about it. Best regards Putzki

  • Decision support: Current Cayman S (03/2009) or 997 S (02/2007)

Hello together, so now it should become a Porsche – but only which one? Actually, the 997 4S was always my dream but first I concentrated on the current Cayman S, because my budget is limited to about 60,000,- +/- 3,000,- and I thought that I would get a 997 for it anyway. But now I have turned my gaze towards 997 and had to realize that there are around 60,000 – 65,000 already 997 S even 4S. The current Cayman S I am ready My thoughts now go there: 1.) I am in love with technology and therefore I wonder if it is not wiser to take the Cayman S with current technology (direct injection) instead of the old 997 with the outdated engine technology 2.) Economic face points I do not want to leave out and I also think they speak for the Cayman S (consumption, insurance, maintenance, tyres) 3. 4) The 997 is just my dream car and in the version 4S it looks for me also the most beautiful of all (I know this is a matter of taste and should not be discussed here too) 5.) another consideration is to wait until mid-2010, because then you get the current 997 FL I think already for 63,000,-. And the 10hp between the old 9 97 S and the current 997 don’t make the roast fat – right??? My question is now, is the technical progress that has entered into the new Cayman so that it would not be wise to buy an old 997? Three alternatives arise from my considerations now: A.) I buy a current Cayman (320 hp) B.) I buy an old 997 S (355 hp) C. I wait until mid-2010 and buy a current 997 (345 hp) Which of the three alternatives would you choose? (who would you choose?) n possible with justification) Greetings The Commander

  • Panamera E-Hybride: Turbo S versus Panamera 4

I am currently driving a Mercedes CL 500 with 435hp, 700Nm and 8 cylinders; built in 2011. A very comfortable, classy and individual touring vehicle. Now I am looking for a successor. I hit the Panamera E-Hybride with plug-in, which fascinates me technically. Unfortunately, there is nothing comparable with Mercedes. I was able to make a first test drive with a Panamera Turbo S (8 cylinders). That really knocked me over! Contrary to my expectations and despite wide The suspension comfort is surprisingly good. The noise comfort is unique thanks to the hybrid. And when the engine is switched on, it remains discreet and unobtrusive in the background thanks to the noise & thermal glazing on the motorway at normal tempi and the sports exhaust system switched off. The “normal” acceleration is unobtrusive like the CL and pulled like the rubber band. Just as I want it and prefer as a demanding comfort driver. But the Turba S do As the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid (6 cylinders) of the performance data with 462hp and 700Nm is comparable to my CL, I also asked for a test drive with the Panamera 4. What a disappointment! Although equipped with 19-inch but without air suspension, it drives like a bump. The engine constantly roars at an unpleasantly high frequency and is really very annoying. Far from comfort and sovereignty. Also the acceleration process is not comparable with the Turbo S: hectic, loud and nervous. If the Panamera 4 only runs with the hybrid, it is – apart from more wind noise – comparable to the Turbo S. My question to the experts: is my subjective perception wrong? Or can it be that even the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid (6 cylinders) drives as confidently and comfortably as the Panamera Turbo S (8 cylinders) when ordering the option air suspension and option noise & thermal protection glazing?

  • For how many kilometers is the 11s good?

I was thinking, this year a 997 (cabrio) will be bought. Since I don’t like the idea of driving from the farm of the PZ and being even at this moment already some 1000s, I actually prefer used cars. There are plenty of offers from 65,000 euros. Times a 2005 with 50,000 km on the clock or a 2006 with 100,000 ect. The question is first, how manipulation-proof is the km-stand on the tacho? And more importantly, how much km the 997 (3.6L 325 hp or the S With 3,8L) does so until bigger repairs are made? And if what they cost so on average? I am of course aware that, like every car, a reasonably driven car with 100,000 km is in better condition than one with 50,000 km, which is kicked immediately in cold condition. How are the experience values?

  • What do I need to know if a Slovenian wants to buy my car?

Has anyone ever sold a passenger car to Slovenia? I will unsubscribe from the Porsche after conclusion of the contract, then the customer needs an export or short-term registration mark. What about the tax? I can’t write an invoice with VAT, do they need that?
