  • Rinspeed 23″

    Hello a few months ago I bought 23″ Rinspeed rims (315/25 23″ and they mounted on my Cayenne V6. I noticed that from about 110 km/h the steering wheel vibrates. At first I thought that the tires were immovable. But they were balanced out ok. That I can’t expect comfort is already clear to me but the vibrating of the steering wheel is not normal. If someone has the same experience or knows where it can come from. Thanks in advance for the help. MfG

  • Buy Porsche privately and guarantee at PZ

    Hello, I would like to buy a used Porsche. Unfortunately, the Porsche dealers do not have the car to my liking (colour, leather equipment, etc.). Now I have thought about looking for a Porsche about the private sale and then making the guarantee at a Porsche dealer. Now to the problems: How is this best to carry out or how can I get the guarantee from Porsche before I buy the car privately? Can someone help me?

  • Is a boxster with 204 hp the right choice?

    We’re just thinking of buying one of the first boxsters with the small machine. Does anyone have experience of what should be considered best? Are there problems with the machine. Automatic OK? Small machine and automatic – how does that work? Does this still make fun? Is there a purchase advice for the first models? The car is from 1997. For more infos thank you!

  • Buy 718 with Sixt-Vario

    Hello municipality, I am a Porsche newcomer and plan the purchase of a Boxster 718. My desired configuration is quite economical – list almost 60t€. I now consider ordering the vehicle via Sixt Variofunding. I would fix the runtime to 4 years; the mileage will probably not exceed 10tkm p.a.. The monthly rate would be about 625,-, about 30k€ on the 4 years. If I look at today about 4 years old vehicles (987), I still have to buy 40t€ The remaining value of Sixt would be just over 30t€. Personally, I think this is a good business. How do you see it? Are there experiences with Sixt in the Porsche area? Greeting Mike

  • Search for tool for hub caps pull off/rotate

    I am looking for a tool with which you can properly pull off or rotate the hub caps (in correct Porsche-German “radzier lid”). I have used two small bus keys so far, which works only very well. I had made such a tool via Google some time ago, which was then not available. A new search did not find this any more. It is about aligning the hub caps with the tip to the valve, which is generally called “correct” for Porsche. et becomes . For this it is enough with my turbo with a little skill to take the above-mentioned bus keys, with the Macan moves and moves nothing.   • Which transverse acceleration can withstand the 11s (997)

    I just saw the story of the “misch on the highway”, i.e. the 11s, which just turns and then hits the guardrail. So far I only moved my newly acquired 997 on Black Forest roads; there it is good but the view to find the expensive fun car in the undergrowth also makes careful. The question would be now, how does it behave on curly BAB, e.g. A7 Kasseler Berge or Sauerlandline A45? What is your experience here? Does it have advantages over M 3, S4 or other combat boxes? Are there measured values (in g) for lateral acceleration on dry road?

    Hi Community, for some time now – as a passive member – I read your mostly very informative posts and hope for a little help with the configuration of my 911er. It will be my first Porsche and I don’t want to be delivered as an absolute novice to a salesman at the Porsche Center. The 997 Carrera S with PDK is in the eye. In detail it would be nice if you could share your experiences with me on these questions: Is it right that only the I am not interested in the electrical adjustment possibilities including the memory function. On the part of the interior, I have considered the leather equipment in grey natural leather. Is this colour as insensitive as black in the long term? How well can it be telephoned with the hands-free system? Is the purchase of the cordless hands-free hands-on device possibly even obligatory? I am No friend of multifunction steering wheels. Can PCM and telephone be operated without any problems while driving? I would also like to have your assessment of the topic PASM sports suspension. Is this a must? Thank you in advance, Achim

  • 997 C4 PDK => Drive VA can be switched off with a trick!

    In Carrera 4 the four-wheel drive can be switched off: Quotation: Our colleagues […] have also returned a wet trick to them by Porsche engineers — a sort of hidden feature of this new PDK transmission. By pulling up on the hand brake just one notch it’s not the parking brake that comes on but what this Porsche actually does is disengage the front axle. Thereby turning the 997 (with a wink and nod) into a rear-wheel drive doughnut maker. So you only have to use the handbrake a “knabe” Is this a “secret trick” or is something like that in the user manual? Can’t look right now, because I don’t have a 997

  • Wheel bearing Cayenne 4,5

    Hello, currently have another problem with our Cayenne. During the ride, a bright grinding noise arises. Unfortunately, the camera or video does not record it, as the noise is probably still a bit too quiet. If I give gas it is usually gone, but I think the engine noise just overruns here. If I go down from the gas it is to be heard again. Furthermore, I have set it to “N” during the ride and it is clearly visible in idle mode. At higher speeds higher If you don’t know, it’s a bit less. Logically, it has to do with rolling, how fast and how slow. That’s why I tap on wheel bearings.. can you underline this assumption?   • Porsche Connect Service !

    Hello together ! For about 2 weeks now in the Connect Portal the service “My Porsche” has disappeared: “Portal special destinations”, (there I have installed the radar alarms, which are still present in the car but not updated ! ) all other services like e.g. “Portal destinations” are available. Do not need to mention now that I have already written 2x the operators of the Connect service and each time the lapidare answer…. we take care of…., have received from once in the meantime I had received 2 calls from Tunisia (!), but I did not accept it, because after there I have no contacts, maybe these were the operators of the portal ? Who has advice on the subject, please, thank you lg.Fiffipapa
