Hello, I now play with the idea of getting a 991er. From the type I like the GTS and the GT3(RS). But because I can’t agree with my conscience 150k and I don’t necessarily have to drive a new car, I just thought of buying an older model as a base and then “doing” it direction of my dream setup. As a base I imagined the Carrera 996 or 997. Does there basically something against it? Someone has a clue what to do with the conversion. I would be very grateful for comments, experiences.

Purchase decision Porsche – Cost question
Moin, two completely different vehicles, but actually I am concerned with the question Cayman or Macan Diesel? …or no Porsche at all? At the moment I drive an E220d Coupe – commercial leasing. Super economical and nice – but I would like to fulfill the dream “Porsche”. I would like to choose the Cayman as an annual car (smallest engine, possibly S) and buy it or finance it with corresponding deposit. The monthly rate is then approx. 200-250β¬ u I’m talking about the “Porsche supplement” that I can do with it. That would be 2,400-3,000β¬, which I would have for the additional costs of the Porsche alone per year. Do I think I’m there? Is Porsche really so much more expensive – it’s “””””only””” a Cayman. I drive 25,000km a year and would say that I drive extremely defensively. So really economical about fuel and wear. Since it’s just a few kilometers, I also have over the Maca n Diesel thought. Do you do a lot of maintenance etc. or can I assume that the biggest cost difference will be the fuel costs? In addition: I must necessarily cause more “tax-relevant” costs and in my work I do not have many possibilities to tackle this. Through the Porsche alone I would pay significantly less taxes despite the depreciation of 1% regulation. The higher fuel costs of course further favor the whole. In general, I even suspect that the Porsche can be so cheaper than the E class. Long speech short sense: do I take over with it? Is Porsche so much more expensive than Mercedes? you get a Cayman, who in 4.5 or 6 years has run something or even well over 100,000km sold still half well? Maybe there is the one or other Porsche driver of the similar frame Thank you very much in advance.

997 4S purchased
Dear community, after a long time back and forth, I decided to buy myself a 911 again, my original thought was to have a C2 S Coupe. But since I have a female part at home, it became at the end a 997 4S Cabrio FL 2010 year, with Sport Chrono and PDK (woman also likes to drive with it). Since I am working in the automobile business and have to deal with Porsche every day, just this specimen fluttered into the house and thanks to exclusive leather a really nice car. now after a few kilometers, I had to find out some things, that one is, I have a constant noise with closed cover, that comes somehow from the cover cover (that’s why I also wanted a coupe), someone knows such a problem? The next one is, I just can’t connect my phone iPhone 7 to the Zuffenhausen Entertaiment, partly the phone finds the car nic Sometimes I can enter the code to pair, sometimes I can’t, it just can’t be connected to Bluetooth and it’s annoying. Who knows the problem and can give me a tip. I also wanted to ask what your 4S needs as a convertible or coupe, because I am currently always around 12.5 l/ 100km with a balanced driving style. I thank you already in advance for your help… and please don’t tell me I should have gotten a coupe…. I HAVE E WOMAN!!! What a choice I would have had

Broken brake pedal
Dear Porsche fans, in the past 2 years I have broken the brake pedal 4 times (concrete: break of the brake piston rod; 3 x in the 911 991 and 1 x Panamera Turbo S). The solution approach of the AG is that I should not brake so firmly (no joke, is available in writing). Supposedly I am the only case worldwide. So my question to the Porsche community: Has someone had similar experiences or has heard something of comparable cases? First of all thank you for your feedback en

Claim against Porsche for higher consumption values / experiences?
Hello guys, we bought a new Porsche 911 convertible in 2016 in the summer (directly paid at the dealer in cash). At the end of January 2019 Porsche indicated itself because of higher consumption values, did any of you claim compensation claims ggΓΌ. Porsche? A Google search results quite many law firms, who are working for exactly these issues, I would be interested if there is anyone here, and who can report about it. https://www.n-tv.de/…/-Porsche-911-self- an-article20837878.html Would appreciate your experience LG

Quality of workmanship and reliability 997
Hello dear Porsche community how do you judge the quality of the 997/1? I am absolutely dissatisfied with my Carrera 2 BJ 2008 92000km has more the quality of a Dacia than of a Porsche.Starting with peeling off soft varnish defective water pump defective RDK system window lifter that suddenly no longer completely close I have experienced everything every customer service was made in the PZ but not to think of Kulanz. When I look at my company cars (Opel Omega Vectra) these are from the Zuverl I have to admire people who use such a box as an everyday vehicle, these must be absolutely painless. How do you see the quality of a 991 is better? My predecessor 996 Carrera 4 was much better than the current one.Not to mention the Porsche centers there is a sign attached to everyone’s attention here is stolen’

Maserati vs Ferrari vs Porsche, what should I get?
I am financing up to about 115k on a car. If I go with an earlier (2004+) 360 i’ll be pushing my budget not to mention up keep with the Ferrari. If I go with a nice maserati gt couple years out would be like 60-90k, however if I go with a Porsche since they’re cheap to begin with it’s more like 30-60k and they perform and look beautiful. The car will be my daily driver thought and if I am buying one of those brands I want a head gym I know for sure a maserati and ferrari will turn heads but w has about a Porsche 911 or cayman s?

When does the 992 come with the small machine?
Hello, someone here knows when the 992 comes with the small engine, so the one that is smaller than the 991 S. In the Porsche configurator is not yet inside and on Google I find nothing. Or will there be the little one no longer? Many greetings and thanks to the one who reads this and writes an answer. Andreas

997/2 with PDK goes off when starting up!!!!
Hello everyone, have an inconvenient problem with our 911er. The car is equipped with the new PDK transmission and has the following problem: The engine dies when it comes to sorting, driving backwards or starting, as if you let the clutch come too fast, it came already in dangerous situations and the problem is allegedly not known according to Porsche! It occurs especially with the gentle start and connecting gas ‘lubbing’, the engine then simply goes off, or with the backward out drive the driveway, which is a bit exhausting and confusing for me, so that you have to be careful at the exit ‘strange’, with light gas foot and unfortunately also jerky gas shocks. If you then go after a somewhat rough gas shock from the gas, because you still see too little to drive directly out of the driveway, the engine simply dies off!!! According to Porsche, the switching points were recalibrated during the last workshop visit, but now it happened again several times! Has jeman d here perhaps the same problem or does the cause of this problem know?? Greeting

Cayman S 3.4 reasonable?
Hello together, So now that I’ve just been here for a long time, I’ve registered now…because I need your help π I’ve been thinking about buying a Porsche for a long time, after I’ve sold my R32 I’m a little closer to the whole thing. Rational reasons why you should buy a Porsche there’s actually no one, in short Porsche simply fascinates. I already have a favorite, my first Porsche should be a Cayman S 3. I am looking for an annual car or a little older. Now to my question: what for optional equipment makes sense? What is unnecessary? Budget approx. 40’000 β 50000 Euro I am looking forward to your tips. Maybe I also need a bit of persuasion work on this way, otherwise it will be a boring VW again.
