Valve play 407
Hello, I have installed the technology of the 407 (2.0 16V, RFJ 103Kw = 140 HP) in my PGO Speedster. Now I would like to adjust the valves. Some say, however, that it is not necessary/possible. That would mean that the hydropumps are installed here. Is that so? Karl

Peugeot 607 Need advice
Hello together, since recently I am represented here again at the Peugeot Forum. About 3 weeks ago I bought a Peugeot 607 2.7 HDI FAP 205in black. Year of construction 04/2006, 172,000 km run, from outside and inside very good condition and good equipment. 8 compartment tyres on aluminium rims with still great profile. TÜV still up to 06/2021. Vehicle history is clearly understandable. 6 months the car was admitted to a Peugeot car house and then the car was approved by only one owner. The Corona virus caused me to transfer the car 3 weeks ago and could only register it on 08.04.2020. On 14.04.2020 the engine control lamp started and the following errors were issued: – Exhaust gas system defective – Suspension defective Off to the workshop for error reading. According to the workshop there were so many errors in the memory which was not clear which was now the real error. First the memory was deleted and further This was yesterday on 15.04.2020. Same error: – Exhaust gas system defective The error message of the suspension was no longer displayed. Again in the workshop, error read out. Result: – Air quantity meter broken In addition, you had the car on stage and I saw it with my own eyes what is in the trouble: – Engine from below very strongly oiled. From above this could not be seen. Where exactly this comes from you have to look more closely. ar now no time. – Axle cuff in front right broken – track rod head in front right broken – suspension in back is a bit broken. So small bars, therefore the error message. I was quite baffled. I had looked at the car very carefully but did not have the possibility to take the vehicle on stage. Test drive went very well without noises or incidents. I called the dealer and he said this once internally and reported himself but he only got the car bought, washed and put again for sale on the farm. Free according to the motto. Bad luck had, since he has not earned much on the car now to do still expensive repairs at his expense. Do you have any tips for me? Which costs would I have to reckon with? Turn on legal protection? Thank you already.

Oil filter sits tight bombing
Hello, last year I made the oil change myself. I had a 78 mm Febi Bilstein filter and was on the road again today to carry out the next oil change due. For this time I had chosen a 76 mm filter from MANN, with a return lock valve, because my filter is in a kind of half shaft diagonally in the engine compartment, so that during the dismantling definitely runs out of soup. Man can not fast enough hold a flap in front or turn the filter. I wanted to save myself for the future. Now the place at the 508 is not exactly luxuriant. I had bought for it a universal key, which has so two jagged jaws and joint lock. I had the first change without problems. On the second start today, he failed. The mechanics is broken. And on site there were unfortunately neither suitable plug attachments for the 76 filter, nor could I use the usual three-arm claws, because the arms too far after In short: I had to stop the oil change for the time being because of lack of tools. I know quite sure that I had tightened the Febi Bilstein filter with 30 nm. I had used my torque wrench extra for this. But either the one that is now fixed or the tool that I had just failed. What can I do? Is there a chemi that I can use in the Zwi And yes, I also had the rubber seal properly lubricated with oil before installation. But this was really unnecessary during the installation: I didn’t get everything really clean in the shaft at the time, because when the oil filter was being dismantled, so much waste oil simply flowed out of it until I could turn around. Everyone who has the 508, hopefully knows what I’m talking about. Maybe it helps if I could use the oil filter. n Oil filter in cold state try to loosen? I would not like to use the method with the screwdriver. I don’t think there would really be room for this in the engine compartment. I am very grateful for ideas. Research on the Internet revealed that something like this can happen over all manufacturers. That’s comforting, but doesn’t help me car is a 508 Hybrid Diesel from 2013

Peugeot 1007 – Do not start sporadically (silence, no click)
Hi, the engine doesn’t start sporadically. Not even a click can be heard. Absolute silence. The engine runs audibly unround after starting. This starts after a bit of driving. But it always starts overnight. After longer breaks it actually always starts. Sometimes, however, it doesn’t. Sometimes the phenomenon occurs after short distances (2-5km), sometimes only after long distances (40km+). At first I thought it might get too hot. But it doesn’t seem to be that. The front passenger door has “mistakes” and has to be opened manually. Battery is still good and the adjusting screw on the actuator was adjusted about 3 years ago, because it often did not want to switch. The engine phenomenon is there longer, but sporadically. Very annoying. Engine control unit? But don’t have to show errors then? Thanks for reading.

Complete conversion/restauration of 106er BJ:92
I’ve had my 106er for about 1 year now and I’ve won him very dear.. He’s very reliable and robust! So I villed. to do something good in front of him and to restore him with a bigger engine etc. I like to screw around with him personally and really want to pull this through just a few of my acquaintances thinks it wouldn’t be worth it! What do you say about it? Uploaded 2 pictures makes you a picture of what has changed… (windshield moaned and wheel caps painted black!) MFG…

peugeot 106 – new head screws?
Hey people, actually we wanted to leave our peugeot 106 44kW already, since it is already quite out of the cylinder head gasket, and we have at the moment a car too much. But now I want to change the cylinder head gasket myself… Do you always need new head screws? I will take the gasket from ajusa. costs about 28 euro a screw set so around the 35 euro. I want to spend as little as possible… Tooth belts I would normally have to get a new one. I have 4 new Continental summer tires from 2009, 2 new winter tires… otherwise he would be gone anyway… the pug is already a cheap car

Opinion Peugeot 106 Basis of assessment
Hello all, about a year ago my car, a Peugeot 106, year 2001, 60,000 km from a gang of drunken youth was badly damaged. Four dents were caused by kicks and beer bottles at the doors, the tailgate and the fender, among others with a diameter of 30 cm and with places where the paint layers are down to the sheet. Now I need in the context of the civil suit, which soon follows the criminal proceedings after their termination a report . Of course, I would like to have covered my costs or my loss as completely as possible. A friendly mechanic told me recently that such an expert report always assumes the “remaining value” and does not deal with individual damages, as in the concrete case my dents. Is it really the case that in the concrete case there is only one possible approach, or are different methods allowed here? Which would be recommended? The costs for this do not matter to me, as the losers of the process will bear them. Thank you and greetings.

306 Cabrio
Hey, after a lot of considerations, when I was looking for a new car, I came across the 306 cabrio. I’ve driven a 106 car myself and was very satisfied. Maybe you could give me some tips? What about the cover (I wanted to have an automatic one), is it very prone to error? is it tight? Maybe you have some reviews about the car? LG jevers05
